I have been in here a few times. The store is clean and the staff is friendly. They have plenty of options for rent from furniture to televisions. You have to understand that the store profits from long rentals. If you choose their rent to own options you may end up paying twice the value or more on any given product. The staff have a low pressure sales tactic but once you are interested in something they become salesman. If you need to build credit I understand why you would use this company. Just be aware you may be paying a bit more than financing through layaway at walmart.

Avoid going through this place at all costs, you will be treated like human garbage once you sign the contract. In all my years (48) of life I have NEVER experienced such hostile, disgusting, rude, disrespectful customer service. Read the reviews on here, they dont even have the courtesy to respond. I have rented several items from this business, only to find out that the items they claim are new are actually used but still got charged full price. Also was told that rental period would be 6 months only to find out later that it would be 4 months, and then they charged me double. If you are even late one day they will show up and demand payment and threaten to call the police. I have regrettably referred several people to them who also experienced the same problems. Dont bother calling the manager Joe, he does not care to hear your complaints. He was extremely rude and disrespectful and unwilling to listen or value any feedback. He does not care about customer loyalty, referrals, or even addressing legitimate complaints. I highly doubt that he follows any of the core values of this company, and I am going to lodge a complaint with corporate (hopefully they dont operate like Joe does) Once the contract is signed you are no longer treated like a customer or even a person. You are just a pile of human waste with an outstanding debt as far as they are concerned. I regret ever giving this place any of my business and will never use them again.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Terrible customer service. Bought a bed from them and was supposed to be new. Stains on the mattress. Called manager and he was a major jerk. Told me that it was my problem. If I could give them no stars I would.

If you like over paying for crappy furniture and getting harassed by incompetent employees, have I got the store for you! This place is the WORST! Not only did *I* overpay *them* by almost fifty dollars for my terrible full size mattress, now Im getting threatening letters (incorrectly formatted with my name misspelled and FULL of typos) saying theyre taking me to small claims court for $1,000. For what?? Paying them too much? I filed a complaint with the BBB back in December, which Rent a Center chose to ignore, and now they want to charge me $1,400 for a $300 dollar mattress?? A mattress that I ALREADY PAID FOR!! I would LOVE for them to take me to court; it would save me from having to pay the court costs myself to get my money back. So come at me, bro! The store manager, Ms. Joel Zavala, said a lawsuit has already been filed, so Ill let you fellow google reviewers know how much THEY end up having to pay ME, the pregnant blind girl, for this ridiculous harassment. Im guessing itll be more then the $47.22 they should have refunded me in the first place!! Wish them luck, theyre going to need it!

I leased a sectional couch set and a table set from RAC recently. I made all my payments on time and even paid extra with the intent to purchase the furniture. Near the end of my 90 day buyout term I brought the remainder of my balance to purchase my furniture. An employee informed me that I was one day past my 90 day term and that I was also outside of the 3 day grace period(I later discovered I was still within the grace period to purchase the furniture) When I asked if there was anything he could do he repeatedly stated theres nothing I can do and I would have to pay twice the amount that I brought with me. When I asked to speak with the manager he stated I am the manager. I was disheartened by this and I walked outside. I didnt know what to do. My girlfriend called Rent A Center later and requested to speak with the manager. This time she spoke with the actual manager of Rent A Center and he was absolutely willing to help us. We paid for our furniture and the employee who falsely alleged to be the manager apologized to me (through my girlfriend). My review is based entirely on a negative experience with this employee who lied about being a manager and about my being outside of the grace period. I wish I could say Rent a Center is a good place to go but as long as this particular individual works there I recommend looking elsewhere for furniture.

When I moved back into town, I was working but was extra broke. I had terrible credit but i really needed a washer and dryer. Thanks to this place i was able to get what i needed. It was more expensive than buying it outright, but cheaper than if I had to put it on a credit card. Sometimes if you have enough to buy stuff without the credit they have good prices. If used wisely this place can be the right choice for big purchases

Ukiahs store is not capable of billing correctly. 6 months of them showing up to take my rental items only for them to tell me repeatedly they lost my paperwork for payments, then took EXTRA payments. When they took my item (because I had dealt with enough( the broke my stair banisters.

I bought a washer/ dryer from rent-a-center and now i need a bed, i will shop with them always, the employees there are so kind and helpful, they even call me at home to see if Im satisfied. Love you ukiah RAC.

Very poor customer service. Employees are rude and not helpful. Arrons is a much better place to take your business as rent-a-center is very overpriced and the products are subpar.

Worst employees ever, had a guy named Conrad out of the ukiah office show up to my house looking for a person that does not live at my address and was told to leave and he refused and began to act like a child flailing his arms in the air and screaming threats as he left, really unprofessional, I wonder if this company even does background checks on their employees, I suggest if a Rent A Center employee show up to your house to tell them to leave because they carry no IDs or badges for identification and act rude and unprofessional and they dont have respect for anyones property
