Friendly and thoroughly knowledgeable staff; answered all our questions. Patiently showed us three different models and explained numerous options available for customizing models.
My house is now going on 14 yrs old and I am still very pleased with it. Not only the house but property value. I dont know if Rodney is still there but he was great concerning every aspect of my needs. I make this review now due to fire issue for those that will be looking for new home. Damage to my property during installation was handled promptly. However, be aware...you will not be allowed to enter the house at any time during construction and until paperwork is completed. Otherwise, they will charge you motel fees as retribution.
Great service. The owner, Rodney, is on top of everything. Quality is key and their set up crew goes above and beyond for the customers. Best place around to buy a mobile home and they also have sites in Lower Lake and Lakeport. Great customer service!
Gordon at the Ukiah branch was extremely knowledgeable with helping people who lost their homes in fires. He is used to helping you find lots to put your manufactured home on and has delt with many insurance carriers to maximize your benefits. He also knows how FEMA works and the SBA loans at 2% that are offered through FEMA. They have many floor plans with affordability.
I called to ask about ordering a home from these guys to be placed on a Mendocino property North of Willits. Seeing as they are a local supplier of manufactured homes, I assumed they would be at LEAST, at a basic level, familiar with Federal HUD requirements, and building code within CA state. They were not. These laws and standards DO apply to all new homes, manufactured or not. The guy actually first gave me completely incorrect answers to each of my questions. Had I been uneducated myself and accepted them as truth, it would have been significantly damaging to my planning process and time. I could have ordered a home the county would not approve if I went just on this guys word. The guy then gets super immensely rude and says : Look, looks like you already know all this stuff so why are you asking me?Well, Mr. Rude McRude.... Im asking you, sir, as a professional in the home building/ home placing industry in Mendocino County if my understanding of new home placement on a new property is correct so that I may possibly order a home from you. I am asking YOU, to professionally verify what Ive found out about minimum home sizes for the area you *directly serve*. Im calling to check with you because YOU are supposed to be an expert. But I tell him, I want to double check to make sure I understand correctly, because the answer changes what floor plans Id be interested in ordering. My questions were BEYOND reasonable. He then says to me : I mean, who ARE you?? WHO is this anyway, are you a relator??? (he became suspicious of my call as if I had some sinister alternative goal other than ordering a home. I was surprised he didnt ask if I was with the NSA or CIA the way he sounded). No, sir, Im a regular (serious) customer, ...***just now, Im definitely wont be one of YOUR customers.***Good luck man, you just lost yourself and your business the potential for a 60k sale right there.
