When I moved to Hoboken in 95 my first furniture purchase was a bench. Over the years it has served as a coffee table and more recently a bench on my terrace. From all the outside elements it had rusted. I made a few phone calls and was getting disheartened when I came across ADA. I knew Bruno was going to be the person to restore the bench back to its original beauty! I am very grateful to his talent and time to restore this sentimental piece of furniture !

I have worked with Bruno at ADA on several projects. The most recent project was refinishing a mid-century rosewood coffee table. Beforehand, Bruno and I went over his prescribed course of action for the table, he explained the whole process, we discussed the price and Bruno began work the same day. Bruno is as much an artist as a craftsman. His restoration work respects an objects age and patina while securing that it will last for another generation. Bruno has restored a large secretary and marquetry table for us. He transformed them from fragile, broken pieces to beautiful, authentic antiques that we are no longer afraid to use. Bruno has great skill and mastery of both woodworking and finishes.

Bruno has restored quite a few pieces for us & frankly, the care & expertise that is put into each one, from top to bottom is amazing. He has counseled us on the care & selection of our pieces as well as transformed one of our mediocre pieces into a modern masterpiece. Old world training & techniques married with new world expertise can only be a win-win!

Excellent, impecable restoration of a highly valuable and unusual 18th century Venetian armchair renders Mr.Debonnes one of the very best I have worked with past thirty years. His skills combined with his artistry are compelling.
