I passed by yesterday with my family. We purchased 3 bunnies and their supply for such a good price. Honestly great customer service. We loved it. We are so excited to take care of our bunnies. I definitely recommend this place.

Im so glad they are so close to me because I visit just to see the birds, ferrets, hamsters,fish and today the sweetest attended reserved an exotic bunny for me! Ill be picking her up on Tuesday! He suggested it and I will keep my word I will take nina home. Please add a pet to your home it doesnt need to be a doggy or a kitty! My lease agreement doesnt allow it so Im going for a bunny and I will be loyal to this location. Great people you just have to see for yourself. At times they have puppies and exotic parrots so cool. Thank you for holding the bunny for me. I cant wait to take her to her new home. She will be free to roam!

Very Very Sad Place!! Animals are crowded in seriously unsanitary cages, Birds, Hamsters, Bunnies, Cats in horrible conditions!! They usually have Puppies crowded in the window, but not today. Today was the day I decided to go inside as they had a few dead Rodents in the window cage. How can this still be happening on a main Street of Union City?? Just reported the situations to the Humane Society, to Mayor Brian Stack, and thankfully the Union City Police came as I was there being screamed at by the owner for taking photos -- hopefully this ends very soon for these abused animals. Sadly this shop IS the portrait of Animal Abuse. Shame on you RED CANARY!! Read reviews below, The 4 or 5 star reviews seem very odd -- the 1 star Reviews all seem accurate. The owner replies gives a clear sense of the level of the business. All business owners are struggling to survive right now -- If you dont care for animals, get into another business!!! Let animals be taken care of by those who know how to do it properly!!!

Amazing service! I purchased two bunnies with my sister @anyelixmedina and they are literally are children. The staff is extremely nice and helpful.

My sister and I bought a kitty in this place and we named him Blue. To make the story short. We only had him for a few days and he started vomiting. They sell sick animals in this and it should be reported. Unfortunately our kitty passed away.

Sick animals, didnt know how to take care of birds, not to mention the dirty and small cages they put them in. Had hamsters in a little cage with newborn babies and two males in the same exact same cage. Have cats roaming around while they cant even contain a bird after taking it out the cage as it flew around the shop, catching it with a NET! This is animal abuse, I dont know how they still are in business. Im usually a very forgiving person but this kind of treatment for animals is UNACCEPTABLE.

Dont shop here!! Very unknowledgeable staffWe went here to get a bird which was to young. Only to find out after doing some research, a knowledgeable pet shop should know not sell. The bird was too young and they were not very knowledgeable in telling us how to care for the bird. We exchanged the bird for an older bird. Only to have the bird we were given die the next day! They sell sick animals. I dont know how this place is still in business.

Melvin is truly an angel. My mother called the shop a few days ago asking if they sold muzzles because our dog has to receive iv fluid every day from now on and when we would try putting the needle in him he would get aggressive. Melvin explained that he too had to do this as well with his dog and knew what to do and told us to come in to the shop the next day with our dog. He was able to effectively put tue needle in him and administer the fluid. He told us he can do it every day for us when he closes the shop at no cost. Melvin is so kind and patient. People like him are very rare to find.

This is a warning do not go to this pet storeWe got a cockatiel and it died the next day my daughter picked it out because it looked puffy unfortunately I found out later that this is a sign that the bird is sick my daughter was heartbroken. After not even one full day the bird just died ! The owner would not refund or give us a new bird he said there were no refunds and the said bird was healthy when I gave it to you this is a warning do not go to this store very bad service totally unsatisfied $300 bird no guarantee!!

Small neighborhood pet store knowledgeable staff wide selection of birds

Its a nice pet shop. Sam, the employee, was very helpful and sweet. My daughters asked him an abundant amount of questions and it didnt bother him. He answered them all and was patient with them. The only reason I dont give it the full 5 stars is because I wish the shop was bigger.

I got a cat from here. Her name is Oreo she is very cute and the most elegant. They sold me her when she was a baby, she was very healthy and clean. The petshop is also clean and the seller is kind and enthusiastic.

Do not buy any pets from this store! They sell sick birds with poor customer service.

The animals are not properly looked after. The birds are over crowded and stressed out, dont have shine to their feathers. The iguanas do not have a proper heating apparatus, the puppies were walking on the wire bottom of the kennel, the rabbits were also not kept warm, the bettas were in platic cups (some dead). The employee was very friendly but clearly this store needs to have an intervention of proper animal care.

That is just so sickening how you have your dogs stuck in a little tiny cage . Imagine being stuck in a tiny cage, that’s just cruel . Not having a lot of water/food, especially going to the bathroom in your own living area . How sick. I hope your place gets shut down immediately.

Nice pet shop in my neighborhood.

I love my parakeet! To my surprise, this little shop actually hand feeds the birds as babies so theyre used to people right from the start. The owners are extremely nice and patient, and it seems like they try to interact with the birds daily. Ive gotten parakeets and other small parrots from other stores like Petco, who claim to hand-feed their birds, but they are always scared of people as if theyve never been held before. After just a few days my new parakeet was comfortable enough to sit on our hand and shoulder and now greets us by flying on our head whenever we enter the room. I cant say anything about the larger parrots in the store, but this place is great for parakeets, lovebirds, etc especially if youre getting a young one--I was lucky that I went while the parakeets were just turned old enough to leave the store/their parents.

Have dead Guinea pigs in a small cage with 5 other Guinea pigs. Four big rabbits stuck in a small cage right in the window that were overheating, also the fish tanks were half filled with water and they were filthy. Place should be shut down.

I bought a couple of canaries that were healthy and playful. Unfortunately the male died about a year later (probably after being attacked by the female) but the female is still here and gives us a lot of joy. Melvin is very knowledgeable and has a wide range of supplies and products for the pets he sells. Bear in mind you are adopting a pet and as such, you will have to give them proper care for them to live normal healthy lives.

Unfortunately the rabbits they had for sale were not well cared for, they were in very small cages and they did not have any, if they sell rabbits They must investigate, for them 80% of their food is there and they must have unlimited all the time They are very delicate animals that can give GI stasis due to stress or poor nutrition and it is fatal for them, it is very sad to see that they are in such small cages, at least put them in a cage where they can walk a few steps. I hope that for the benefit of the animals you take this comment into account.

You do not know, I had a horrible experience, they gave me a liquid to cure my Fish that in the end only lasted about two hours alive, he died they do not know about Animals they only profit from them, they should not have a pet store without having knowledge of them . at the end of all there should not be these stores that have in captivity such beautiful animals as birds, rabbits that only live locked in a small cage.
