Nicest Verizon experience, consistently the best service. Years of various carriers and even other locations...these folks are so terrific that I return here even though farther than other choices! I am always happy, regardless of how long it takes (and yes, it can be time consuming to do a phone upgrade). But they go above and beyond here to make it as pleasant as possible. Clearest explanation ever of the many line items changing in my bill.

Large store. Staff friendly. Good location. Wait times for assistance sometimes long, but once you get your turn to be served the staff give you their undivided attention. Parking tricky since it competes with other retailers and a bank for the spaces. This is you full-service authorized Verizon store. Avoid those small franchise Verizon stores, and come to this one instead. They know the mdse well, have technitions, and go out of their way to make sure you are happy 😊

Went there twice to get a SIM card for prepaid account. They will need to confirm your account before they give it to you. Both times the staff took care of me and were very professional. I am very grateful and pleased with their assistance. They do their job well, but go there with a patient attitude because not all customer needs can be resolved quickly, and there may be a wait

Helpful enough store. I went in there because I was trying to sort out an issue with potentially switching to Verizon in the future, I was not even planning to make a switch that day but they still helped me by the way, or part of the reason I ended up going with Verizon later.

If you visit the store youll probably get better help while on the phone then at the store. But than again the people on the phone arent that good these days also. So, i often wonder why Im still with them. Well, thankfully the data/sound quality of the service is amazing compared to other cellular companies. Trust me i know. Plus, i avoid having to deal with the corporate stores and phone as much as possible. If you can handle online, youre better off. But, based on this specific location, they get one star. As a matter of fact Ive only been here twice and it should be negative stars.

I havent been there in a while and this location has been renovated. Reminds me of an apple store, but not as sleek. I walked in and other people showed up after me. We were greeted by a guard, then by one of the clerks that took our names and purpose.I occupied my time by browsing through the product display and noticed that some of the people after me were already being helped. This raised a concern that:1. Some sort of customer help system is in place but not followed.2. Some other procedure is in place and Im not aware of. I was hoping for some explanation but got none.3. Profiling? I hope not. I was dressed in jeans and sweatshirt.I waited a bit longer and no progress. I did receive this Google review/ feedback and decided to leave. Henceforth posting this experience. Passive-aggresive? Not at all. I have more important things to do.

Excellent service! Prompt and efficient! Thought my IPhone 6 was a goner because it wouldnt charge properly anymore, come to find out it was just dust bunnies stuck inside! Try being without a phone for 24 hours and see your mood diminish without it! Thank you Verizon for always being there if anything goes wrong!! Youve made me a very happy customer!!!

Hands down worst customer service from any carrier ever comes from the Union City store. Verizon itself has its quirks and annoyances but this store specifically makes any chance of a positive view for Verizon go down the drain. Ive had Sprint, TMobile, and Metro and theyve all offered far, far, way far superior service. Its utterly ridiculous how low the bar is for Verizons stores.I walked in around July 2018 and requested to cancel a service. The store employee let me know he did not know how to do this but he would leave notes for the next employee to handle. He assured me this would get done. Ive never in my 15 years of having cellphone service been lied to by a company and thus trusted this and left the store.Fast forward to December and I decide to go through my bill at which time I discovered the billing was way off. This was due to several issues. One, being they lied about their buy one get one promotion. It seems the only way they apply this is if you call yourself as opposed to trusting the employees do their jobs. This was taken care of by the rep. on the phone - all fine. I received an adjustment to my bill after being over charged for months.Secondly, I discovered the service I requested be removed at the Union City store PERSONALLY was never removed. The customer service rep. could not do anything over the phone as this was the stores fault and they would have to fix/ credit that themselves. I walked in there that same day and the manager did find the notes but had to speak with the associate. He assured me he would give me a call within 1, max 2, days.It was over 10 days and not 1 single phone call from anyone at Verizon. I had to waste my time and call, yet again. The manager, Martin, then assured me he would look into it and give me a call back. He said he needed to conduct an investigation. He did call back but said the store would not do anything because I already had a credit to my account and it looked like it had been taken care of by customer support.First of all, Martin had every detail so Im not sure how this investigation of his led him to believe that customer support would credit me over 3x the charges for the one particular service? He knew exactly which service and what it totalled up to and suddenly the credit that was 3x that would explain it? AND I let him know I had received a credit for the BOGO promo which was how I was led to find the service charge was never removed at the store. On top of all that I told him the store specifically would be in charge of crediting this as customer support only deals with the promos/plan adjustment not credit for the stores employees that ineffectively do their jobs.Anyway, Martin and the rest of the staff at Verizon are all around lazy with extremely poor communication and follow up. Unclear how these associates are working in a customer service oriented field if they literally do not care about the slightest effort.All 4 of my lines will be transferred over to another carrier thanks to the staff at this store. If youre adamant about having Verizon I would HIGHLY advise on going to a different store.

They offered me buy one get one free special on iPhone. The promotion was never applied and every time I called customer service, they would say free phone code is pending approval and check with store. Now I have been paying full price and canceling the service. Never go with Verizon.

They dont deserve a star, their customer service people SUCK!! they tell you to hold and when you tell them what your problem is they tell you oh no thats not possible you have to pay the whole amount. well SHAME ON THEM. this is the one in Union city!!! on courthouse drive. their may be some nice folks but I have been with Verizon since 2013 and I have always gotten better quality of help with customer service online or over the phone! the customer service people in the store SUCK!! NEVER WILL I GO THERE AGAIN, I SERIOUSLY HAVE TO BE DESPERATE!!! THEY GET NO STARS FROM ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

I’m at this Verizon store right now. We’ve been waiting for 15 minutes. And a man who just walked in is getting helped before us. I have to point this out to the non helpful employees. Now we’re getting assisted. Also this selection here for products is very small.

Worst Verizon store. Came here for an iPhone 11 max. Asked the lady that was checking me in if they had the space grey in stock and she said, yes they had plenty in stock. There were 3 people in front of us. 45 mins later, finally got called and the guy servicing us said they only had 1 green one. Wasted my time here. Asked him, how come the lady didn’t bother to check if they actually had any stock. He said well someone may have already bought all of them before you which is BS

Staff was attentive and at the ready to help me bring a Google Pixel onto their network - hence 2 stars instead of 1... However, Verizon representatives advised me inaccurately regarding the coverage of their multi-device protection plan.As it turns out, you need to buy a phone directly through Verizon or an authorized re-seller to have it covered under the multi-device insurance, which is not what I was told. For this reason, I declined to insure the device through the manufacturer and cannot add it after the fact. Therefore, I now do not have any insurance on a brand new phone and when trying to talk to verizon to resolve this, they refused to admit to any wrongdoing even though I had the transcript from the conversation prior to purchasing the phone where I was advised that I could bring on a device purchased directly from the manufacture.From this whole experience, I am looking to migrate completely off Verizon and use Project FI instead. I already use it for work and it has all the same coverage as Verizon does, except significantly cheaper.

Bought my wife a the new iPhone XS for Christmas and was told once she turned it on her number would transfer to the new phone which it didnt. So we went back and the girl that was helping us put the old sim card from her old iPhone into the new iPhone and we told her that we would feel more comfortable if she could just activate the NEW sim card that came with the NEW phone instead of using the old sim card. She told us that the NEW sim card on the NEW iPhone doesnt work. We told her why would they sell a new iPhone with something that doesnt work. All she said was I dont know what to tell you and walked away and didnt solve our problem. Went to the Pleasanton Verizon and the guy activated the Sim card that Didnt work with out an issue. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

I came into the store because my car charger was acting up. Rahsaan proceeded to help me and got it exchanged for me free of charge which I greatly appreciated. As I was waiting for help he noticed me looking at portable speakers and started telling me about them and which one is better, etc. He told me he can bill my account and have it today free of charge but will have pay it back within thirty days so he sold me right there. Problem was, my account was having issues and he went above and beyond to make sure I left the store happy with my shiny new red speaker. Rahsaan is a rest salesmen, very personable and goes out of his way to help you, this store is lucky to have him and he deserves a big bonus!!! The worst of service ... after 2 hours waiting ... I bought 2 phones and they could not activate them. Or calling with the technicians for an error that they have made with the lines ... later like 10 hours in customer service calling to fix the problem all because of the incompetent of the employees ...
