Went to this location from San Francisco for one item from sporting goods section. Pushed the help button to get assistance. Waited around 15 minutes because I needed the item. After another 5 minutes I went to go look for another rep. Spoke to a nice lady and informed her I needed help in the sporting goods, she responded honestly and said no one is going to help you because the person who works the section has not been seen, and its hard to get help.That will be the last time I go to that wall mart. This happened to me 3 times at this same store.

Walmart in the Union City Landing is a great place to shopFor clothes, home, electronic accessories, great roll back prices and a McDonalds ☺️

Pretty good as far as having the shelves stocked and great that they have a lot of self check out.

Typical for this merchant. Parking is ample but can get crowded during peak times, like afternoon and early evenings. Sales associates are usually hit and miss, more often miss and at times surly. Well-stocked in most departments but the fresh food section is very, very small and usually not stocked appropriately. Items in the pharmacy area are locked behind cabinets, so plan to waste some time waiting for the person with the key (there is only 1 per shift, and that person is hard to track down).

Open til 11pm, this location is conveniently located off the 880 Whipple Rd exit. The staff was helpful and had lots of self-checkout lines available. But the cashiers were very fast too.

This store has gone so far as to even exclude shopping carts for thier own customers. I get the sense that perhaps this store might actually close. Good riddance - This store was terrible anyway.

Hardly had anything in stock that I needed to buy....shelves and refrigerator item hardly none .... need to restock

They are now trying to lock everything up. When you need it, you have to spend at lest 20 minutes there to find the service staff to help you unlock and take out a bottle of $5 Body Wash. In that case, why don’t just lock the store’s door directly? This will solve all problems.

We came here for charging our car and spend some time in Walmart. Also used Bluedot app to get some Oxygen Points

I when to return and bought another items. At the return desk, the clerk was very helpful as I had one of the tickets which I thought were the correct but found out it wasnt. Thinking that I probably will be at loss I was about to take the item back when she asked me if I have the credit card I used to pay and that was the saver. She was with a very long, long line and I think that make it special service because she was able to think quickly to help me besides the stress she had with the big line.

Fairly middling experience all around. The store generally matches any other Walmart that Ive been present at. Sanitation within the store, among other factors, are generally par.Ive come to this store relatively frequently for spray paints, and Ive seen the section gradually change location and rapidly decrease in size over the past year or so, to the point where it is now only about a third of its former size. Unlike in Oregon, the case here is locked, and getting employees to open it have become a more and more convoluted issue over time as well. The call button was a great option until it stopped working nearly 2 years ago. Now, its an eternal wild goose chase as to whether or not an employee (and one with a key at that) will be present to open the case. Quite annoying.

Experience at Walmart was truly an experience when you arrive there you always have to get a shopping 🛒 before coming inside. Another experience Ive had happen is a worker their is always up in your business. He tells his co-workers about the people who shops there. He is considered a busy body that needs a life for himself. Never answer his question ❓ all he does is gather info on people.

The staff works hard. Great selection of well priced goods. If you can pay w a card, the plentiful self-checkout stations make leaving quick and easy.

You need it? They have it!!But..But its locked in a cabinet!And they will not respond to pressing that red button to request help. Its like they dont want to sell it to you.Heres a small list of basic things that are inside the cabinet.1. Baby formula2. Bike pump3. Bike locks4. Some sunscreens5. Personal products6. Cosmetics7. Etc etcEverything you need is mostly behind locked cabinets and they almost never come to assist you. I end up here every now and then forgetting my previous experience and then Eureka! Again!?!Go to Target thats about 0.5 miles away where nothing is behind closed cabinets. I just dont understand the logic here. People steal in Walmart but not in Target. Worst Walmart ever!!

The self checkout area is very well serviced by committed Customers Service Reps that are on point, helpful, knowledgeable & organized!Very much appreciate the Excellent Customer Service ...Keep it up!!!

Dont try to get help in sporting goods. They will have you waiting for over 30 minutes. I ended up cutting the package off the lock myself to take up front to pay.

No appointment no entry… Can be an hour early but don’t be late or Gish forbid you’ll be sitting for days.

All well except the issue with some price tags dont match when you go for billing and sometimes the price is not the discounted price for billing.

Ok all of the beauty products are locked behind glass. Not only an inconvenience having to wait for someone to unlock the glass partition for me to get face wash(!?!?)its a slap in the face to everyone in this community. I will definitely avoid this Walmart and others like it in the future. Looks like Ill be making to trip to Target to give them my money instead

When traveling, I always look for a Walmart. No one is rushing you. There is a clean bathroom and any snack or drink you could want. And if you need to rest for a few hours, no one disturbs you. Thank you Walmart.

I ordered a vacuum cleaner for pick up. I first picked up a few items. Looked for lotion, but it was locked up. That would have been a long wait so I opted out. The pick up went well. Very easy I just showed my ID.

This place has almost everything you heart desires to purchase plus there open late. Just dont expect top service. Just keeping it real fella shoppers.

They never have carts anymore. This is like at least the fourth time I have come and had to go find my own cart in the parking lot. I am disabled but not as bad as a lot of others which makes me more upset that someone with a cane or elderly has to find their own cart. What kind of BS is that. When you ask the greeter they just tell you they are all outside. I have even left once because I was hurting too bad to go find my own cart.

Best Walmart in the entire East Bay Area. Unfortunately do to theft and Democrats failure to hold thieves accountable prices are rising at stores and sometimes they close down.

They are too over crowded with their workers stocking all the time taking up almost all the aisles always have to go a different route to get what I need.

Entrance is through the right door only. Not too busy and prices were good but the aisles were very messy and stock was not being shelved in a timely fashion.

You can find a lot of items there, electric, food, farmacy, clothes, sports,toys and more, I may comeback eventually to get some needs, maybe need more security at the parking lot.

The woman didnt know what she was talking about and didnt listen to what I was asking. Frustrated we went around the corner to best buy and found Just what we wanted. Very knowledgeable staff they went over and beyond to help us with our purchase.

Every time Ive been to this Walmart in Union City the visit was great theyre clean friendly they always have great deals. if you need to return something they have a great return policy although the lines can be very long. They have a McDonalds in store so you can partake in fast food as well. The staff are very knowledgeable about the products and varieties in each department.. so over all I give them 2 thumbs up

This location needs a lot of improvements, in terms of better customer service. The floor associates were kind and very helpful but when I asked 3 department managers in 3 different area for help they were very rude.

Poor customer service and poor online service. the manager never responded . I ordered tires made an appointment for installation. I drove 60 miles away to get the tires done and they said “order is not ready “still waiting for my order. Spent 3hrs on customer service and 3hrs to drove there for pick up my order. Now they said cancel my order. After 15 days…?very bad experience ..really disappointed

I bought a 10 plastic container the price was 8.38 or some but went to the cashier and the price was 13.00 dollar 😡 so the item was at the wrong place, why why the employee no check the shelves make sure the item have the right price. So I ask to go check the price but didnt care still paid the full price only on 8 only 2 got it por 8 manager and the cashier was nice do .

The workers are not really nice theres ants on the shelfs never carts ready it smells bad a lot I would not recommend this walmart

Employees are wearing masks and customers are about 70/30. Store is really busy. Come July 1st there will no more bags. You MUST bring your own! Store was clean

Easy in and out. Mask policy not enforced though. Covid central Im sure. Very attentive and knowledgeable person working electronics. She found what I needed and even checked me out. Easy visit.

Im really surprised. Heres why. Pre-Pandemic shopping at this location had me on edge. I would notice a lot of CULTURAL NEPATISM during receipt checks; employees were either clueless about product location, a lot were unwilling to help, extreme language barriers with others, impossible to locate an employee with a key to unlock locked items, and the list goes on! The last 3 times Ive shopped this location was just the break I needed. Employees were eager to help,(a small percentage werent), I witnessed a lot less CULTURAL NEPATISM @ Pre-Exit Receipt Check(law enforcement road block), and the keys to the nail clippers I needed appeared withing 2 minutes. Good job with the recent effective changes, Walmart. F.Y.I....As a company, it would make a lot of sense to train a certain demographic group of employees to not speak their native tongue amongst each other(while on the clock)in a way that is rude/offensive towards other groups that may not understand. See, I understand the groups language, and theres a lot of CULTURALLY INSENSITIVE talk amongst said group of employees. Thanks for your time.

Supercenter So far the Walmart’s I’ve visited in the area have been decent and the people are little bit sone take it to serious some are high strung and IDK seems like every bodies just looking at everybody like everybody’s a detective of your life !! Like oh this oersons this way or that persons that way IDK it’s weird maybe just me!!sure seems like everybodies watching each other with a fine tooth comb in this areas but the stores are decent!!!

Worst place to shop at and service, customer service is the terrible. Lines are to long and we watch the manager just let the lines get bigger as she stood there doing nothing. Thats not a good effort of a team leader.

Long lines, staff ignores you when you need help. Truly only reason use to be cause of the prices but they have gone up too. Parking lot is always crowded. And dirty.

A Store with all necessities in one place for cheap prices. Maintaining cleaner the premises is missing in store. People wear and drop at floors and nothing in shelfs. Employees kind of very lazy in answering questions, no patience in pointing to right aisles for the asked inventory or items. Literally if you have more time to find yourself where they kept go to this place else find other similar Chain Location..!

If you are from the East coast; especially the Atlanta area. The Walmarts in this area are disappointing. I havent found one to compare to Atlanta Walmarts.

This Walmart is extremely packed, the isles are so narrow your unable to pass someone going the other direction. The other part is the the freight was stacked up all over. Lastly, the ice machine needs to be cleaned, Ive added pictures of the mold found in the ice.

Very crowded. Which is expected. But the thing that keeps me from giving it a 5 star rating is that the exit has this horrendous sewage smell every time you walk out. I thought my gf farted, but I thought wrong. Almost had her take the bus home.

Very crowded place. Great items for good prices. Thats why I give them a rating of 3. What takes away from this store is the bad parking and super long lines. If these two problems get fixed this Walmart would be wonderful. Extra bonus when the Walmart employees open all checkout registers.

Line was pretty fast.

Had curbside pickup. There are NO SIGNS for curbside pickup. Even when you Check In on app and look at the map for curbside pickup it shows front of store but there are no designated parking spots in front. Tried calling...no answer, goes to customer service...still no answer. Drove around for 20mins. Finally, was able to talk to someone in photo who directed me towards the side by Garden Center. Even the signs and phone numbers posted are either faded or too small to read from inside a vehicle

I normally love Walmart, but today they had very few actual cashiers during a peak shopping time!

Talk to 3 different people and waited for 30 minutes for a fishing licence. No body would help me was told they dont sell fishing licenses

Do not do online pickup at this store; awful service. There are no signs, no service and you will end up going to the back of the store to pickup your order.The time and frustration it took, I could have gone inside the store and purchased the item. Please improve your online pickup service.
