Bad customer service, always a wait always confusion. apparently they dont enjoy picking up phones either. when I finally get through to someone I tell her I need to confirm my prescription and she puts me on hold and leaves me there.

I came to this place for several years. But now the customer service is so low. I ordered my daughters contact lenses almost 3 months ago. I had been calling for a reference and they only say since they are special order it will take time. Today I call and they put me on hold for 5 min, since I was close by the place I decided to go and one was busy nor looking for my lenses. Guess who is loosing 5 clients next Year?

The best optical in town in my humble opinion. The doctor is professional, her name is Jessica lee. Two young ladies helped me out by the name of Alejandra and Yudith. They helped my son and I pick two beautiful glasses. They also helped me out with my paperwork, insurance and credit. I love this place.

Its not the first time I had been seen and got my eyes glasses here. I have to say that the doctors are great. This last checkup was the worst experience I had but not wiith the doctor but with the employees. I had been waiting for one month trying to get my eye glasses by calling them for an update. I was kept on hold for 15 minutes and hangup, called various time, they were very sarcastic and telling me theyll return my call once theyve an update. Last call they laughed and said they MISSED UNDERSTOOD my last name. I had gone today to pickup my glasses and they all had the must sarcastic smile on their fave and looked at each other. Its very insulting. Never again.

I’ve been going to Crystal lens for the pass 3 years and I love it. The staff is so nice, friendly and helpful. The girl who helped me was Jakie. She has good taste and good eye for picking out frames ! I truly recommend this place !

My mother and I are patients here at Crystal Lens Express. I came here looking for frames and I came out winning. Two patient ladies helped me and my mother out and their names are Yudith and Alejandra. They helped me and my mother select two gorgeous glasses. Yudith and Alejandra have excellent customer service. My mother and I will be coming here again for our annual eye exams. By the way Jessica Lee is a great doctor with capable skills of working effectively and patiently.

I have had trouble looking for an optical in Hudson County that can provide good service. However, when I went into Crystal Lens Express, the staff was attentive and helped me with whatever questions I had. This has been the best optical I have been to in Hudson County. If anyone is looking for a new optical, I recommend Crystal Lens Express. The staff is friendly and knowledgable about their products.

Was looking for a place that took my insurance and wasnt too expensive. I got a flyer walking by and went in. They had nice staff and the store looks nice. Got my eye exam through the insurance and they helped me pick a pair that was within my budget. The owner even offered to lower the price for me since it was my first time. Picked them up today and I see really good. I recommend them for sure. Most people have bad experiences at opticals because they want to buy stuff they cant afford, I just stayed within my budget and let them know my price range.

Best customer service!! The owner of this place is very knowledgeable and helped me more than once to pick out a great pair of glasses. . and the eye doctors are very professional and have personally helped me find the perfect brand of contacts for my very complicated eye condition. I would not go elsewhere!

I have gone to this optical over the past couple of years. My experience with the staff has been good and I usually find a nice pair of frames, both for prescription frames and sunglasses. Also the doctor is very good and has really helped me overcome issues I have had with my eyes over the last few years.

The staff is very slow but if they’re in a good mood and you’re nice to them the staff is pretty cool, but if you give them so much as a look or seem impatient they’ll be rude to you and make it near impossible to order calmly, currently im here and I just had to drop off my frame but I’ve been waiting 30 minutes just to drop off. :|

Nice friendly staff. I was a walk in and I was in and out within an hour. I love the fact that they have their own technicians on site. Picked up my galsses the next day! A+

I’m just saying, this place can be done better. I’m not going to be harsh and give them one star, but I do agree on one of the staff being rude and whatnot. Some of them are nice and I like them but i think they should change their attitude before they drive their own clients away. Just a thought.

A rude front desk worker. She offered $440 for a frame with the glasses with the discount. When I said it is cheaper online, and she completely changed and had an attitude towards us. I ordered the same product online with upgraded lenses that she offered for less than $200. She kept asking my wife if I am her husband after hearing my broken Spanish. Completely unprofessional. I am the one spending money; I didnt deserve such a treatment from her and she definitely needs more training to work in that position to deal with people.

Horrible!!! People are supposed to be properly measured for glasses and they never do and to those naive they take advantage of just to get money in their pocket even if it is from Medicaid. The point being is at their thieves who dont really care about the client and just want to rush people in and out I do not recommend go into this place itll be a complete waste of time and money not to mention the service is subpar

When I saw the review before visiting, I thought how bad can it be: the worst place ever for customer service. Daniella is the most rude person Ive dealt with. Her attitude is such that youre discouraged to stay there. Good luck to the owners. BTW the doctor sitting inside is listening to all the disgruntled customers but doesnt ever step in to help.

Very professional place . Went there to get my eyes checked . I was attended by maria Alejandra very professional young girl. Definitely who you want in-front of your business.

I had horrible experience at this optical !,unfortunate I chose it because several times I got flyers,that they give out on the street,offering $39 per eye exam and 10 % discount,with the name Jackie sales associate and asked them by phone before the appt. to confirm this price,they said that was correct !...at the first appt. day Dr. Lee prescribed me a wrong medication:ANTIBIOTICS for a dryness problem (Neomycin and polymyxin B),that made my problem worst :my eyes become inflamed,redder and very painful,and I had to support this problem two days until I could see Dr. Lee again,because he does not come to the optical daily,also that day right away,after that he prescribed me wrong glasses.I did not want to buy glasses,but the young woman of customer service convinced me to do it,she said if I did not buy them I must pay $80 for the exam, already done.I that point I realize I fell in their trap !...That woman offered me progressive glasses,she said they were the best option for me,I had to pay almost $500 cash...when I pick them up and tried they on were uselessness!!,I could not read with them !,instead any 99 cents glasses helped me better than those !!.I went back,loosing my time to explain them,and other two different women of customer service refuse to fix them,they did not want to recognize all their mistakes (wrong medication,wrong glasses prescription and wrong mark on them !).those two women are the one who prepares insurance bills always sitting on the side and the biggest one.Finally they made the glasses again,but they never worked well...I feel very disappointed because my eyes problem got worst at the time for several days,I lost all those days in my job,and the expensive glasses never worked well as I need it.I have the idea that they cheat people with out insurance,they make business between Dr. and sales Associates,getting extra money when they sale glasses !,they do not have ethic !.Be careful !,Stay away from Crystal Lens Optical Union City because they are crook !!.

The worst place to be at. Stuff is rude and nasty,particularly 1 female who is always screaming and gets at you for asking questions. Attitude over the top for reason. Treating customers this bad you will not have any. Whole place is acting like you owe them something. I was on the phone enquiring about my case and I was yelled by that nasty woman that she has a customer waiting,like im not one. I give 1 star to doc only. Never will be back there and i will file complain to insurance.

Good service and reasonable prices

The staff is extremely rude, especially the lady who is always in the front. The nastiest attitude and you can see her annoyance every time I have a question. Not only me but I see her do it to other clients.

The customer service here is terrible. I ordered a replacement screw for a pair of Ray-ban sunglasses. They ordered the wrong piece and I am still waiting 2 months for the right screw. When they do answer the phone they just put me on hold and never come back. At some point if I do finally speak to someone they tell me to call back, the girl that handles that isnt there.

How dont you accept VSP coverage here? So idiotic.

They made my child some glasses that had nothing to do with the prescription I brought from his doctor, and that resulted in having to take him back to his doctor because he couldnt even read with those glasses

Horrible rude rude attention and care !!! People do not give reimbursements and above all they charge more than in other optics it is cheaper for the same reason I will never go back there detestable

I have been going to this place for a couple of years and the service is excellent. The girls are very kind and efficient. They help me with what I need. Dr. Lee is very happy and very professional.

In my experience in this place it was terrible, since when I was the staff that was there instead of helping me with my needs, I wanted that I was obliged to buy them something that I could not. so they didnt give me another option to solve my problem and they gave me attitude.
