I have one by my house thats closer i just went to this one because i was in the area i will never go to this one again very messy inside boxes where blocking door and shopping aisles the baskets were absolutely filthy and not cleaned at all some workers were not even wearing a masks I know the. Pandemic is cleared up and a lot of people have been vaccinated but workers should be always wearing a mask especially around food and my opinion workers are very rude gave me a funny look when I paid with cash and not credit I will just go to the one by my house at Southland That one is more friendly and WAY cleaner and new I asked for a receipt and it seemed like I was asking for too much and they slam their seat on the counter I spent about 80 bucks here its not like I came in for one thing I always come in here spending a lot of money definitely will not come to this location again
Great prices for fresh fish. Much cheaper than Costco and other markets. They also clean it and give it to you. Clams as cheap as 3 dollars a pound. Great place to shop exotic Asian foods. A must try if you are a sea food lover.
I see this place also sells seafood open displayed, on pile of ice.. anyone can walk up to it, no cover at all.
If you want fresh seafood give them a try. I love okra, they had plenty. Clean store, friendly atmosphere.
Very fine Filipino market to get all groceries thats needed.
A relaxing place to explore possibilities of creating your own passion to bring nature at home.
Just went here again last week. They have a huge variety of Filipino food. What I love the most are the snacks. some of my all time favorite from childhood are here. 🤗Workers are helpful. 😊The place has a friendly atmosphere. They play music that you can hear from the entire store. And they play Tagalog songs that you wanna sing along. 😁A bit of downside is that they rarely have good fish. And because most products are foriegn brand (foreign to america :D), theyre a bit pricey. But I dont wanna miss out on my favorites, so its fine by me.
I liked this place because it was very clean they have a good variety of products expected to find in an store of this kind.Prices are slightly high than other places but i guess everything i have seen on the san francisco area is that way.
I go there for their cuts of pork belly and the cashiers are always so nice 👍🏼
Good shop to buy our favorite Fish 🐠 and Shrimp 🦐 Price is good 👍
Neat and organized however wished the check out line can be more quicker...Takes about 5 to 10mins for check out.
Good variety store for ethnic Filipino fresh/frozen/canned food products and produce
I went there with my Lovely Wife 😍Great stuff 👏
Im visiting from out of town & came to get food from Grill City. I guess this Seafood City doesnt have a Grill City. So disappointed! To their credit, they seemed clean & organized. I just needed some hot & ready pinoy food!
Service on the register is good and prompt.
Seafood City is a grocery store you can buy a variety of vegetables, meat and etc,
Nice Asian store.
Filipino style market with in house made longanisa also equipt with a bakery and small filipino style fast food joint. Decent fish and butcher.
Clean and spacious. A lot of friendly employees. Knocking 2 stars off because produce are not consistently fresh.
While on the small side, this market has a wide selection of items ranging from fresh fish to Filipino savory snacks.
I love my fellow Filipinos. They are very nice and always helpful.
I bought a milkfish daing previously frozen for $16.29 2pcs and they fried the fish with the absorbent pad on it. The pad melted to the fish skin. We drove 250 miles with this experienced. This happened 3/2/21 at 0830... Too sad😩
Large variety of fish including milkfish/bangus in addition to many Filipino cuisine items you wont easily find elsewhere. Aisles can get a bit crowded.
Too expensive! Each item is a gold! Ex. Samyang 2x spicy 5 packs for $6.99. Went to food Maxx only $3.99! Wow! Food Maxx they have tons of items to choose and cheap!
Many fresh seafood and delicious BBQ. Philippines grocery market.
There are several Asian grocery stores around and this is 1 of my favorites. Thay may not always have the items Im looking for (but its understandable, being that theres a lot of Asians living here, but overall I do find what im looking for. This place appears to be clean. So Id rather drive the extra miles.
Lots of varieties of fresh fish available here.
Bright shopping place and many seafoods.
Have a variety of filipino spices
Very nice location with delicious bakeries next to it. Will definitely be visiting for the Philippino food.
I used to live there before. I would say not bad. My observatio. Most food I purchase I need it I find. As shoppers I take time and patience to look for. I come seen some food to go already made. It look new to me. It closed to Chowking. Come sees to your self. Hope it help.
All the Asian ingredients u need...
Big Pinoy grocery selections and a lot of Filipino favorite turo turo food ready to go.
Love seafood!!
Things dont look so great anymore. The fresh veggies section looked neglected. After all they are fresh seafood place and have a decent variety of fresh fish to offer. However, I would not use that as an excuse to not have good fresh vegetables on display.
Pretty much had what I was looking for. It was just a very unsanitary. The carts and baskets were not clean so I had to clean it all myself. They ran out of sanitizer by the doors.I definitely didnt feel that they were doing their best to prevent Covid-19 spreading. At least they had the spray and paper towels! You may want to wear gloves or do pick up or delivery 😁
Our family literally drives about 1.5 hours to get to the nearest Seafood City. Vegetables and fish here is always fresh. And this is probably my to go to place for any new ube snack or desserts to try.
Broad selection at fair prices. Staff very helpful!
They should put Grill City restaurant
Great cashier personnel.
Fish, were good.
Check your fish before paying. The counter weighed three fish for us, and we only found two in the bag when we got home.
Great Filipino place, went for tuna steak WHICH IT SAID THEY HAD. The guy totally dismissed me and said NO TUNA, NO TUNA. Not coo
Great food
Ok
Smallish supermarket serving the Filipino community. Awesome fish! Good meat counter. Some amazing options in frozen foods. Compact, clean, select, very reasonable. Too many tempting snacky things. Good produce!
I am always able to find what I need.
Great place for seafood and other fresh items as well
Perfect place to get variety and fresh sea food
The grocery part is pretty standard, with a decent selection of Asian stuff. The seafood part is the focus, as the name implies. They can cook whatever seafood you buy. We got anchovies and they fried them up whole for us. They were fantastic eaten right out of the bag, like crispy, fishy French fries.
Pinoy Hot Spot in 1 Place
If you are curving for a Philippine goodies or just simply looking for flavored chicken soup or traditional exotic foods like balut. Or just some vegetables that can be seen in the Philippines onlY.... then this the market for specially for your needs
I mostly do my food shopping at this location but ever since covid they switched their shopping bags to these cheap plastic bags that doesnt hold and they still charge you for such low quality bag. They carry variety of filipino food and snacks. Always stocked and tidy.
This location is smaller than most Seafood City Ive been to. Couldnt find some items that I needed. No Grill City in this location although they have the usual Chowking, Red Ribbon and Valerios Bakery annexed to it.
They got good variety of seafood items.
Nice and clean
Always fresh product and very happy personal!
Great seafood, shrimp and oysters!!!! My favorite😊😊😊😊
This is the place where Asian food products are being sold, mostly Filipino food products. All nationalities are welcome to buy here
I just like to go to chowking restaurant to order foods.
I really like this place, but in the fish department they need better and faster services. These two old man need help and the wait can be longer than usually.
They just didnt have a good shellfish selection.
A great store for all your Asian food needs. Theres a butcher shop, take a number when youre there. Lots of different fruits and veggies. And theres baked goods from local bakeries.
Best fresh fish in east bayVarious Variety of fresh and frozen fishLive crab
The garlic chicken is pretty tasty!! 🤗
Great supermarket with decent prices
Variety of Asian selections, but mainly Filipino product. People are nice. Surrounded with other Filipino restaurants. Parking area is okay. Place looks new but clean. But the question is. Will this establishment continue to be at good service?
Seafood is fresh but everything else is only okay. Customer service is not great.
👍
I wish I could give this place 5 stars. The prices are great and the food quality is excellent. However, the worst customer service on the planet!!!If you dont care about the customer service then its a great place to buy raw seafood.
Easy in and easy out. This place can get extremely crowded buy i love it because they are typically open on holidays
They have nice people they have everything I need
Variety is vast..Clean Market..Fresh Produce..Mr.BruceNOBL1
Great place. Decent price. All your Filipino snacks are there
For a small place theres a lot of variety to this Asian market. My mom complains that the fish isnt particularly fresh but then she is a demanding shopper. My wife and I are satisfied with the seafood section. We didnt shop the produce, and we liked the availability of Asian branded sundries. Pdost junk food items were a comfort with coming back for. Note there are connected but independent stores with more Asian products and even fast food. Overall it was a good place to shop.
Great grocier, well placed signage.
Wifes favorite.
It has a variety of stuff you can buy
Nice place. Most of the times stale fish are kept. If you are lucky you will get fresh sometimes. Still lots of fish of varieties. Salmon is our choice and very good. Cheaper than anywhere else. Cutting is not up to mark.
Lots of items.
Very fresh seafood everyday lots of selections of vegetables at reasonable prices and lots of Filipino food as well
It has lots of herbs and spices that I use for Cooking
It’s okay, I don’t like the people who works there because they are rude!
Longer wait time checking out especially on weekends.
Fresh seafood 😋!
Great food. I love filipino food.
Nice place you can find anything you want
Super busy here, long lines due to covid and social distance.
Good place to go for the fresh seafood items
My visit was for fresh seafood and thats judt what I got. Not only did I pick the whole fish I wanted, they aldo cleaned and cut it yhe way I wanted. Oh yeah, the prices were so good I had to grab a few others items I didnt have on my list, like lumpia wrappers. . Well stocked and friendly service.
Great supermarket, my family and I go there for groceries or any ingredients for filipino dishes. They also have filipino snacks and drinks. While in Seafood City I also love eating then Inasal with rice!
No customer service at all
Great and clean place to get various asian staples. Fish section is excellent with very reasonable and fresh offerings. The fish cleaning service is excellent as well and never had problems with them .
Seafood supermarket? Why not a Whole Foods? And they are opening another one in Hayward? This is such a disappointed and obvious proof that the city manager and planner have no idea what they are doing. This is what happens when you forget about small government and allow any unqualified person take positions that require some critical thinking and progressive leadership.
