Clean school bookstore where things felt properly spaced and not crammed in the most minimum space possible. Staff was helpful and available in both the cafe and the primary bookstore areas. Some areas were more sparsely apportioned than others but definitely still a solid selection for your campus bookstore needs including a large selection of quality college branded merchandise.

Its a large, ample store that sells everything but books. You can get Kean University paraphernalia like clothes and license plates, food and office supplies. They do have a rather sad collection of miscellaneous leftover books in the back of the store, but cordoned off (covid?) and not looked after at all.

Love the bookstore, and they have many things to explore besides books, the apparel super nice and was also able to buy coffee.. yay!! Coffee much need it to stay on point.. 😉

Regarding my recent visit on 4/1, the woman working at the register with the fake blond braids displayed poor customer service. She was attempting to rush the customers out of the store more than 15 minutes before the scheduled closing time while customers were shopping. I will be reporting this to the corporate headquarters. The Poorly Managed staff at this location need to be re-trained.

This bookstore requires rented books to be returned prior to the official end of the semester.This 2020 fall semster had an issue with them. Went to retunr books the first business day after the end of the semester. Due to COVID!( issues had the bookstore print a UPS return lable for an outstanding book. Shipped it the same day. A week and a half later, the store automantically billed for the book. Billed for a returned book when adivsed it was sent and received by UPS tracking. There is no sensitivity in this bookstore or care for the students. Even in COVID times.

Its a college book store. Not much to expect. You have your mix of nice and mean employees. The people working in the text book department note always a happiest. Price matched a book and the little skinny guy got on in a huff when I showed him the price was lower and through the paper at me and said just go pay. Captured audience

Mediocre customer service and the books are over priced. I feel like they automatically say they don’t have the used book to get the new sale price on the books.. If you have time look elsewhere before purchasing here

Good place to grab coffee and Kean merchandise. The book selection is extremely limited as the majority of the retail space is conquered by Kean-themed clothing. If you are looking for something specific, call and check ahead of time! Textbook rentals and returns are easy and the tech shop has a surprisingly large array of laptop power cables. The café staff is always friendly, however the coffee is not nearly as good as Rock n Joes nearby.

I give this a 1 star because, why does it close on 2pm Saturday and 5pm on Friday? Fortunately there are GOOD Barnes and Nobles that I can trust. I definitely would choose the ones in Paramus NJ and Woodbridge NJ.

This place is a great for all your text book, school supplies, clothes, snack, and every day needs. Love the staff here as they are so attentive and helpful with all your questions. Im a new Graduate student here so Ill be using the bookstore for awhile, Im more than thrilled to be using this bookstore!!📖

I like the book store, although it closes a bit too early for my liking. Check their schedule if you plan to study late at night. Still it is a college bookstore, so I cant complain too much. There are other options when they close. I do prefer a Barnes and Noble type environment over other options.

What a great idea to have Barnes& noble right there on campus. food, snacks and drinks even better. students have a safe place to hang out.

Its easy to get to. They have books and other items that would suit the college students on campus. Nice atmosphere and the staff very professional and very polite.

Its a helpful place in case you urgently need a stationary item before class. Its more expensive than other places, so I would not recommend it for extensive stationary shopping. It has kean spirit items like shirts and sweat pants. It also sells/rents textbooks for descent prices. The store has Starbucks too. They take flex dollars.

Overpriced college books for a university that suppose to be affordable. Another reason I am giving this location 1 star is because of the Starbucks in this location is very unsanitary. I will not buy any hot drinks or food since i saw an employee from this location used a rag they used to clean the counter then used that same rag to clean off the nozzle used to warm the milk for my coffee. I will avoid this Starbucks establishment even if there is no other place to get a coffee near by. I even went to the train station to get coffee which I have never bought a coffee from the train station since I started going to this University. This will be my 4th year now in the spring and it is a disappointment that me being a huge Starbucks client that I will never buy any hot drinks and food from this location!

Its basically a Starbucks with a school store. No big selection of 📚 s, they have whatever is listed at Kean U courses, school supplies and clothing. Starbucks inside, its a good place to have a quick coffee, that no doubt.

Nooks are definitely over priced but thats college for ya, but the connected Starbucks is great and they have a chill lounge where you can relax and do your homework.

Could not find what I was looking for and they dont have enough people on the floor to answer your questions. If you need help finding something to better find who is going to help you.

This starbucks has a hotdog wrapped in like a croissant looking thing (dont know the name) but it is very good..like fresh good, I got it for breakfast one morning and it was great!..if you have a free tmobile starbucks coffee for an iced or hot tall coffee (they dont take it here at Kean universitys Starbucks).
