This Shoprite is huge! One of the largest Ive been in in a while. I dont know how long its been there but it looks fairly new. Maybe because it has a clean look. The front end is pretty big with plenty of registers. Its quite a walk across the entire front from end to end. The aisles are wide which prevents a lot of traffic and congestion. They are also deep. Since this is a larger Shoprite they have stations the smaller ones dont like a sushi bar and a sandwich station. If Im not mistaken there is also a pharmacy. Dont quote me on that. Fully stocked shelves and friendly staff made for a pleasant experience. Would recommend 👌.

Had a great experience with the bakery department. They did not disappoint! Made the order on line and then spoke with them to reconfirm and they exceeded expectations Cake was for two events in one and they made it perfectly and it was delicious marble cake with pudding center. Great job!

I went into the store for the first time. It is massive with so many products. I never knew Ive been missing out. The hot food and salad bar section has so much variety, especially if you want something quick and on the go. The prices were decent but cant beat LIDL(but no store can anyway). A very enjoyable experience overall.

Id like to compliment Ms. Carter for her excellent customer service. What ever department Ms. Carter is working in she is always patient and helpfull. She has assisted me at self check out and also at the customer service desk. Ive seen her working in the shop from home area and also over seeing the self service check outs. She never loses her patience or acts inconvenienced. She is an asset to Shop Rite. Her knowledge of the different departments is commendable.

Best darned pancakes around. Seriously wort a stop in. Also, try the corned beef hash, never a disappointment.

Best selection but never go at night because the employees get rude. Only go early in the morning. Also, self check out is garbage. The machines constantly bug out.

Nice place! The parking lot needs some management and sometimes it’s a mess.

I was told by the cash register person I needed to download the app to get the discounts. I downloaded the app to countine as a guest. It would not allow me to get the discount with taking my information. When I went to costumer service to ask why I cant continue as a guest the women replied I dont know what to tell you. Really!!!! You work here. I left the cart and walked out. I will shop somewhere else. Not helpful people 😒

The ShopRite of Union, NJ - Highway 22 is very neat and the employees are always willing to assist you to find a product in the store.

Clean, organized, friendly staff. Its really nice inside, it gets busy fast but there are plenty of staff to help and assist customers.

Very clean... great personal... bathroom on point... fresh food isles very organized and fresh... great experience back to school prices are reasonable on select items... overall give it a thumbs up

Prices are good, when the cashiers dont screw up the order. they just say goto customer service, the one worker could not stop talking so that i could explain. the manager came over and some hood rat customer wanted to start a fight as they over heard our conversation. The place itself with groceries is good and affordable but other than the the selection in this ShopRite doesnt compare to the one in Linden .. so many selections.

Ive shopped at this Shoprite many times, when I feel like driving to it. I cant think of an unpleasant experience their. I especially like to get my cold cuts from there the meat seems always fresh. I see sense my last visit they added self check out by the cooked foods. Nice!

Person that works there literally refused to get an item from the top shelf. She literally said how am I suppose to get that when there was a ladder next isle over.

Recently, 2 stars is all they deserve. The prices are not clearly marked, the register personnel are not as capable and overcharges are common. Im disappointed with Shoprite in general recently and the attitude of management is allowed to be much more coarse than ever before.

My experience at the shop rite was very poor. It didn’t deserve the 1 star but we have to at least give that. The employees are so rude and disrespectful. They don’t care about the customers at all. I will never enter that shop rite again. They make you so uncomfortable to shop and the worst employees are the register employees including self checkout employees. 😷😷

One of my favorite locations. Amazing sushi, store is organized. My only advice is to check the dates on the some the shelf products. And not a fan of the seafood dept. Ive purchased spoiled seafood twice. Everything else is awesome, quick checkouts.

I suffer from Lupus and depend on at home grocery delivery for over 4yrs now. Since the global issue arrived I have been on 3 rounds of chemotherapy yearly. I cannot be in large crowds & must be very cautious around other ppl. The issues that are common with shoprite from home Rt 22 location delivery are when I go to pay online, I always get an error. The money is taken from my EBT and I have to wait over an hour for the refund to go back on the card multiple times! It can take 3 tries before payment goes through, which can take 3 hrs to pay. Once payment goes thru, half of my order is not in stock! I lose delivery slot. When they text to ask for substitutions I decline certain items they suggest that arent close to being replacement items & way more expensive, yet once order comes, they ignore my text choices! I get the refused items anyway at increased prices. Last order was missing several items. I called the store, employees are comically rude! They really take problems as personal attacks! Why come to work with such rage?? They dont answer the phone for hours during delivery hrs. Even after 2nd try at delivering my order items were still missing! I have had to risk my health to physically go to another store to pickup the missing items! Shoprite CEO really needs to overhaul the delivery from home option! Your customers are telling you whats wrong, please listen & make necessary improvements!! We cant all be wrong! After almost 40yrs of shopping at Shoprite Im looking elsewhere! Some people like myself depend on at home delivery! Disappointed! SMH

Thats my main supermarket...always stocked well, fruit and veggies are fresh, good stock of gourmet items and professional and friendly cashiers.

The ShopRite in Union seems a bit outdated from the rest of the ShopRite I have been too. The parking was hard to find the day I went due to other stores being in the shopping center. I went for desserts and this location seemed to have many varieties of desserts.

Well stocked and some choice varieties available. Prices above average.

This Shoprite supermarket is one of the largest and best Ive ever visited in New Jersey. As a full service destination they have a bakery, pharmacy, deli station, sushi stall, fresh produce, frozen goods, meats, seafood and seasonal specialties. Ther wed is plenty of parking in the Plaza parking lot. Ive found the staff to be quite friendly and knowlegable about the store and its product lines as well.

The store is good but the employees are something else. Jonna is a terrible employee. She had a nasty attitude and when i asked where a item was and she ignored me. Completely unprofessional would not recommend.

Big store, wide variety, friendly staff. Fresh baked goods are delicious. Hot food, soup, sandwiches made to order and fresh sushi available. I can normally find everything I need.

Nice helpful staff. Huge selection. I Got my Kosher Turkey from there. The butcher was nice enough to take my order and keep it for us till the end of the day. Thank You. Nicely designed store, but difficult to find things. For example I could not find a school supplies aisle anywhere in the store at least not listed on the aisle directories on the aisle signs. Of course, I could have asked an associate to appoint me in that direction but that was short on time and preferred just to read the descriptions on the aisle signs. So no stars deducted for my not being able to find anything. Self-checkout was seamless at 8:00 at night so close to Christmas

Sells whole grains and produce,even coconut milk ice cream.Best selections anywhere.No big lines on a weekday morning before 10.

Always clean pleasant staff never crowded

The worst of the Shoprites. The nastiest of customer service. They wont take back or exchange an unopened, in-date item for fear of Covid-19 (which, btw, doesnt remain active on cardboard) BUT they have an OPEN salad bar, food bar, and soup bar. And people are walking around with noses out or no masks. Seriously stupid as per usual.

There werere a few things that we came to ShopRite to get that werent there other than that we got everything else and the cashiers were polite.

Plenty of self checkout which is good if you want to keep your distance .You have to take care of yourself cause almost none business are anymore .

Very nice, great selection though out the store. The outside makes it very deceiving out side is old inside very updated new and was well kept when I was there. Will go back next time I am near and of need of a market.

Nice shopping experience amidst the pandemic. Shelves were stocked, store appeared clean. I went around 11AM on a week day. Store was not crowded & plenty of registers open. My cashier was Donna and she was exceptionally friendly & patient. She advised me on Poland Spring free seltzer water with my purchase of a case of water. We chatted a little over bagging, lol

Went there today bought a watermelon the 2nd one I bought and when i cut it open its like no juice its like a juiceless watermelon when you like bite into it is almost like a crunch its like a dry watermelon this is the 2nd 1 I bought this week that was like that

The Shoprite is clean and easily accessible. It has handicap parking closeby and shopping carts are also available. Avocados and salads were pricey. Good quantity of packed edibles inclusing chips, salsas, refrigerated products.

Just need to provide more moments notice cashiers for speedy checkout

I truly enjoy my shopping trips at this Shoprite. The music is so good. Mixed genres. Old school/new school. Keeps me motivated to stay in the store to sing and dance. Lol. I have even danced with other shoppers. But this is very psychologically smart Shoprite. The longer you stay and enjoy, the more money you will spend. 😉

Meat dept is fantastic! They had the biggest short ribs Id ever seen in any Shop Rite. Seafood and produce was pretty good. Overall very good variety throughout the store. I was surprised to find gnocchi by Dececco there too

Had an order made it wasnt ready at the time it was supposed to be. We waited 30 mins just for them to bring out my order and it was missing things that I was charged from. It is one thing if they do not have the item but I was charged for it anyway. 😠

Shelves have been empty a lot

I had a great experience shopping tonight.Store was well stocked and my cashiers name was Karena and she was very friendly and packed my groceries as if they were her own.They were very neat and tidy.This cashier deserves a special mention from her Manager.She has a great attitude.

The shoprite from home us SUPER disorganized and never ready on time. The workers there are moving at a glacial speed, no press or urgency in any movement. Worst shoprite ever

I really like this Shoprite!!!! Just hoping that it stays the way it is forever (unlike the newark location). The staff is very friendly and its very clean. A big plus is that its within a mini mall and there are other stores there to go to before/after you finish grocery shopping.

The store itself is great, but their Shop From Home is absolutely awful. My order is wrong almost every single time.

They have a poor delivery service, they did not notify me when they came, with a simple juster of ringing the doorbell. Left food setting on the stoop in 91-degree heat. Had to throw the meat and the Fermented drinks away.

I recently ordered shoprite from home from this store. NEVER AGAIN. Waited approximately 1 hour to receive my order only to get home and discover that nearly half of my order was missing. I call management and they said my order would be delivered to me in the morning with all of my missing items. Afternoon comes and nothing arrives. I call the store only to discover that they dont deliver to my address, it is out of their zone. No call or notification was given as I anticipated my delivery, however, they did waive my shoprite from home fee- Just shop in the store, DO NOT- I REPEAT - DO NOT USE THEIR SHOPRITE FROM HOME SERVICE- this store does not have it together in this particular department. I will use another shoprite from home store in the future. I will say that management was friendly as well as the associates but save yourself the headache and dont use this service - until they become more organized and supported.

This store rarely lets me down. Despite the volume of customers, there is ample parking and the grocery carts/carriages are clean and in great condition. My only criticism is that items (at least for those that I purchase) are rarely on sale and checkout is sometimes slow.4.5 Stars

Very disappointed they have a kosher meat section that isnt kept with any kosher meat. Instead they put the kosher near the pork.
