I just got my Orangewood Acoustic back from Alex today and his work is phenomenal. The guitar never sounded better. Alex was very knowledgeable and very responsive (seriously I called like 4 times and he picked up every time). Overall, solid work and great value for the money. Definitely bringing my other guitars to him too!

Alex is a thorough professional who more than met my needs both on the repairs and the timing. All you have to do is look at his workspace to know that this guy is very well organized and serious about his work. Just to top it off he is very friendly and engaging. Im not in the habit of giving 5-star reviews but this guy is the real deal.

I brought two guitars to Alex for repair- one a low price Takamine acoustic, the other a vintage Les Paul. He did a beautiful job on both of them- made the Takamine play and sound better than new but more importantly, set up, cleaned up, and and detailed the Les Paul so it plays like a brand new guitar but looks like what it is-a mint-condition 37 year old beauty. AGW fit me in at the last minute when I needed my guitar restrung. (My 5 year old busted one of my strings.) Alex not only did a quick and awesome job, he tuned it perfectly, and checked out the rest of the guitar. Even gave it a bit of a clean up. Alex does excellent work and is a talented musician in his own right. The synergy of his technical expertise and his skill as a guitar player is what defines Alpha. I had Lollar Imperials installed into my PRS S2 Standard. The turn around was quick, and he went ahead and balanced the pole-pieces for me (I didnt ask for this but was pleasantly surprised). Hes also a cool and down to earth guy. Couldnt give a higher recommendation, come check out Alpha if you need any work done to your guitars.

Took my fender there for simple string replacement and action adjustment. Guy diagnosed low nut and stuck trust rod and told me to call Fender and to file warranty claim etc!! I took it to Finlay&Gage the same day -no issues with nut or rod. They set it up the same day saved me tons of time and money. Highy recomdend Finlay&Gage for all your guitar needs!!

I recently found out about Alex over the summer and brought him a Gibson SG I had to do a set up on, I was extremely happy with the guitar, so when I decided to change the pickup on that guitar, I called Alex again. His work is excellent and neat, his prices are great, and hes genuinely a really nice down to earth guy. I will be using him from now on for any guitar repairs I need. Highly recommended.

I just got my strat set up the other day and I cant write enough good things about Alex. He had it done in a couple days and even has a 30 day policy so if you want to come back to tweak it a little you can. The best in the area hands down. You can trust this man!
