Great crew and wonderful service. They assessed my bike while I waited (it had been in a garage for several years) and returned it fully serviced quicker than I had even hoped! A beautiful spot to stop in your ride for a cup of freshly brewed coffee.
I had a friend have a flat on WashU campus. They (Ian) came out, took the bike, and came back repaired all in 35 minutes. Quick, efficient and very friendly. Would highly recommend.
I had a wonderful experience with the bike shop I assume I worked with a owner or manager because his focus was solely on getting my bike connected to the trainer in the least expensive way possible. Although it was more steps involved he was more than willing. Thank you so much for modifying my bike to work on my trainer as well as building me a cassette suited for my chain.
Very cute spot, super friendly!
Two of my favorite things in one place, Bikes & Coffee! Not only adult people friendly but kid friendly too. Comfy indoor seating and a nice outdoor patio is also available. But what’s most important to me are the skills from Jeff as a bike mechanic. You see…I’m known in the cycling world as a “Clydesdale” – a person on the chunky side. I’ve had rear wheels on lightweight road bikes get “out-of-true” very easily and one rear hub literally explode. Since Jeff has rebuilt one such wheel for my 2013 Masi Alare, it has held up 100% STRONG. 💪 It turns as straight and true today as it did the day he completed it. That’s been at least a year ago. Keep in mind this shop is OVER 6 miles away from me. And I get around 99.9% of the time on a bicycle…NO CAR.
In desperate need of chain lube before a ride, being a procrastinator, I showed up before bike hours while only coffee shop was open. The ladies running the front werent well acquainted with the shop side but allowed me to get chain lube, while holding collateral (CC). Saved my ride! Returned to pay and was able to get with one of the techs, while asking questions about a tune-up on my front derailleur he was able to quickly assess the problem and get me fixed up. While hanging around I ordered, upon recommendation, the lavender latte with oat milk they make in house. Very delicious! Huge thanks to Liz and Tim for all the help!
I went for the Coffee, only curbside available and rather uncomfortable outside seating. The employees were not very social, the man working the bike shop yes, the others no as they looked at me as if I was from a foreign planet when I placed an order (so word of advice, order online and pick it up as its good coffee, but find another shady place to enjoy it).
This place is an ode to entrepreneurship. A bike shop / coffee shop that makes little sense except when you visit and immediately get why youd want to just always be here. Jackson, who made my latte and apparently makes world famous chocolate chip cookies, is fun, personable, patient and a great latte artist. The environment is laid back, comfortable, and very well kept. You owe it to yourself to see what a creative little watering hole this place is. Its an excellent reminder of what it is we all love about people.
I ordered an oat milk latte (with sugar free vanilla syrup) and chocolate chip cookies (both excellent!!) online and picked it up from the store. This was the first time I’ve done this since the new social distancing rule has been in effect- it was quick and easy.
I went in to purchase some stocking stuffers for my bike-enthusiast husband. I had no plan and no idea what to get, but the staff were so friendly and helpful. They helped me make a little tire repair kit and my husband loved it.We will be back so my husband can talk bikes and I can try the coffee and baked goods!:)
Great place for regular bike service. Excellent work at a reasonable price, and a friendly and competent team.
Neat little neighborhood coffee shop combined with bike shop...and I mean, very combined. What limited indoor seating they have is partially enclosed by hanging bikes. The coffee and service were great! Light pastries were limited. Im looking forward to going back on a day with better weather, because there patio seating has a view of the quaint little surrounding U City neighborhood.
I had my bike tuned up and a new rear tire three months ago and they did an amazing job. Awesome coffee and cookies too!
Fantastic place to pop in for a coffee, smoothie, vegan treat! Child-friendly, laid back atmosphere, and a bike repair shop inside. Love this place!Review from my 9 year old: Cursed Coffee is such a great place. When my mom is waiting for her coffee I can go and look at the bikes, and it still doesnt take that long. They are so generous and nice. I love their setup and I love their name.
Great coffee shop. Try their peanut butter oatmeal cookie and snickerdoodle latte. Best part is that its not too sweet.
This place bites. I brought in a flat tire and asked to buy a new tube. The guy asked if I wanted him to replace it. I said, No, I can do that myself. Then he pulled out the tube and said that it was no problem and he could do it in five minutes. I said, OK. He didnt check the old tube or the inner part of wheel for defects until I said something. Then he charged me $20 for something I could have done myself in five minutes. What, this place pushes customers to pay $240/hr for something as simple as changing a tube!!!!!!
Awesome service, I’ve been there twice in the past month and every time they immediately Drop whatever they are doing to help me out they also make sure to accurately diagnose my concerns and they also have a very cute friendly puppy there who is very nice to meet, not to mention the chai latte is delicious!
The coffee and smoothie were good, they recycle, and the barista brought my order to me, instead of saying its ready. That being said, the bike section makes hanging out a little awkward, giving it a slight grunge feeling. Its a strange combination, but I guess it works for people around here.
Excellent service and great latte!
Surprisingly good coffee. On point smooth sweet espresso and perfect microfoam. Cute bike shop and nice barista. A little hidden gem next to an amazing taco shop.
Personalized, friendly, high-quality service. Cursed Bikes & Coffee expertly repaired and tuned two vintage mountain bicycles for me that others said was a waste of time and money. Unlike another shop that dismissively exaggerated the problems, Cursed took the time to identify the real need: what kind of cycling do I do, how often, what price range can I manage? After that, I explained the other shops assessment. Unexpectedly, Cursed immediately examined both bikes (with an eye for the alleged symptoms) and provided a more accurate diagnosis than the previous shop in less than five minutes. The repairs were a bit tricky, but not impossible for them. They identified the bikes as being high-end brand, mid-range products in their time that had many years of enjoyment in them; certainly worth restoration and certainly not for scrapping, as someone else recommended. Later, they emailed detailed estimates and, in about a week, I had two bicycles in like new performance condition.Im always amazed how some shops can stay in business making the customer feel foolish. Cursed is the opposite. They seem to understand that valuing the customer, or good will, is also good business. By the way, the shops location is added value: its tucked away in a quiet, leafy neighborhood next to a chic taqueria and salon, which allows you to relax a bit and indulge your family or yourself.Wherever you live, I recommend Cursed as your friendly, neighborhood Bike and Coffee Shop. Get a fresh roasted cup of coffee on the way out!
Great shop, great coffee, great service, great atmosphere! I highly recommend and I’m the bike ninja so......
I was in a hurry today and asked if they could give me a cold brew in one of their shop bike bottles. They filled it to the brim and only charged me for the bottle. Plus the custom FeCycles frames look awesome. I will definitely be back for coffee and bike needs. Awesome spot.
Ive had a number of small repairs done here. Always pleasant and efficient and reasonably priced. Today I just needed a small part. I was out the door in just a few minutes at a cost of less than two bucks.
What a wonderful space and genuine people to start my day with! Cursed is on my route to work and will definitely be a stop on future commutes. Im enjoying a delicious, smooth soy latte this morning.
Great environment
The owners are extremely accommodating and the atmosphere of the shop is welcoming and friendly. And the coffee, baked goods, and smoothies are just downright delicious. We love that we live just down the road!
Had a flat tire, they helped me faster than I could finish my coffee. Put some air into both tires and lubed my chain just in case, paid less than 20 bucks including the new tube.
I love this coffee shop! I am a coffee person primarily but they are well on their way to making me a bike person as well. I walk here once a week with my four year old and the baby I nanny. I enjoy the coffee and my son watches the guys working on bikes at the bar. Jeff who owns the shop, is a wonderful, friendly person. His own children are in and out and it is a very friendly place. The baristas, Josh and Hailey, are fantastic. The coffee is very good. I much prefer Cursed cold Bree to Starbucks. They make beautiful lattes as well. My son is a big fan of the Italian soda. The Tour de France may have only one winner, but at Cursed Bikes and Coffee everyone wins!
Such a cute place with a relaxing vibe! Awesome cranberry oatmeal cookie & cold brew coffee.
AMAZING chocolate chip cookies!!!!!! I said it before but I have to say it again💕

Great outdoor seating. Also had a few puzzles, games and books for kids. Delicious vanilla latte and blueberry lemon muffin too. Will be back!
The service is awesome. The mango smoothies are 5.0 and its amazing because after school I can just walk there from Flynn Park, my school.
