Ordered cookies online at 11:57pm. Was told a 20-30 minutes delivery time. At an hour we called to check and they told us it would be about 10 or 15 more minutes. We waited 2 hours before giving up on them. No communication from the store about them deciding to just not show up that night. Absolutely unbelievable. A simple call or text saying you werent going to make it would have been understandable.*Update* Got a text after we left the state the next day that they were delivered. How are they still in business? When we called customer service they werent apologetic at all. This must happen all the time. Dont waste your time.

When in today to get my family some cookies. First I asked asked for a vegan birthday cookie. The lady snapped at me stating “I don’t even have those ready”. I said no problem how long? She said ten minutes. I said that’s fine we can wait. She then rolls her eyes and says she can’t take our order because she has other stuff in the back to do.I completely understand times are hard right now, but I did not deserve to be treated like that. If she needed a minute okay fine we weren’t in a hurry. It was very clear that we were an inconvenience.

I placed my order and about an hour and half later they call me to tell me they ran out of cookies. I still had bought ice cream, but I guess they decided to cancel the whole order. Not ordering from this place again 👎 How does it take an hour and a half to tell someone you ran out? Probably just didn’t feel like fulfilling the order.

Horrible customer service. I’m an avid Insomnia Cookies fan, and I usually have an okay experience at this particular location. I wouldn’t say the customer service is phenomenal. Subpar, at best. But, normally, they’re alright. Unfortunately, this was NOT one of those experiences. The young lady at the counter didn’t attend to us until a couple minutes after we’d walked in, keeping her back to us until she finally did. She appeared disinterested and annoyed when we asked her to repeat our order since we couldn’t hear her over the music and behind the mask. When I reached for our receipt, she snapped at me and told me I’m “not supposed to reach over the counter.” I wasn’t aware of the restriction; I simply wanted to ensure our order was correct. By no means did I intend to do anything wrong. The receipt was in front of me, so I reached for it.After we’d ordered, and more people started to walk in, she rolled her eyes and announced, “I’m only taking card.” She proceeded to walk into the back of the store for a few moments before coming back with a box to fulfill our order. She slammed countertops and doors and continually wiped her face and nose. The customers behind us commented on the terrible customer service, and we agreed. Not only was I offended, I was saddened. I love Insomnia Cookies, and now I’ll need to take my loyalty and money elsewhere.

Ordered cookies, was given an estimated time to delivery of 20-30 minutes. Waited an hour. Called. Was informed by the worker named ANGEL that she does not know how to make a chillax pack of 6 cookies and a pint of ice cream and it would take her about her 30 MINUTES to read in the handbook how to make cookies. Completely unprofessional. A total of 1.5 hours for an order to LEAVE the establishment is completely unacceptable. Please teach your employees how to bake the cookies so they don’t spend 30 minutes reading handbooks leaving patrons waiting for orders for OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF.Update. It has now been over TWO HOURS. Phones not answered. No updates. Application says “baking. DO MOT ORDER HERE ANGEL WILL NOT MAKE YOUR COOKIES BUT LEAVE YOU WAITING FOR HOURS. .Update 2: called 2.5 hours after my order has been placed was informed it would arrive within 10-15 minutes. It has been 30 minute and has not arrived. (Total of 3 hours since initial order)

You cannot go in the store after 12. They run out of cookies late at night the cookies was a bit high 1.75 a piece but they were yummy soft and warm. Over all I did enjoy them but I would have liked to know what they were out of before I place my order. They should not have just 1 person on staff at night that poor lady was working hard. This is the worst Insomnia Cookies that I have ever experienced. On multiple occasions our orders have been delivered 1.5 hours late. It is almost a 50/50 if the ice cream will be delivered with the order or not and the delivery driver has to go back to get this. Right now my husband has spent 20 minutes with the employee who could not find our order (that was placed 1.5 hours ago) and then was told they dont have any cookies and do not know how to refund us. This place is a joke and disappoinment.

A misunderstanding between the hours listed online, the time that I chose for pickup, and my dyslexia meant that I waited for an order late last night and was disappointed when I didn’t get it. But the refund process was super easy, and everyone was super nice about it. The hours on google are likely incorrect, employees said they close at 1am

The cookies were delicious but they were pricey. It costed $10.47 for 6 cookies. Their cookies were warm, soft and sweet. Staff were friendly. The shop was small but was clean. They had limited seating in the store. I am not sure it was worth the price for those cookies.

Waited 2 hours just to be told that they didnt have any cookies. Made an order on 9/18/20 around 11:30 and got confirmation saying that my order would be delivered in 20-30 minutes. At the 20 minute mark I went down to meet the driver whenever they would pull up. Only 20 minutes later was met with nothing. Called the store and they said the order had been picked up, but they would make another one and deliver it. After another 20 minutes still no order. Its becoming an hour since my order. Mind you this store is 7 minutes away from where I was. Called the store again to be told that my order was on its way. Another 20 minutes and still no order. Call the store yet again to no one answering. Decided to walk to the store to be met with a locked door and other people waiting as well. A gentleman came out to tell everyone they were out of cookies yet I paid $26 and was told my order was being delivered multiple times.

Worst service ever! We drove 30 min to this shop specifically to get vegan gluten free cookies. It opens at 11 so we got there at 11:15 to be told that she want ready yet and come back in 15 min.. we did that and places our order for. 6 pack of the cookies only to be told that those wouldn’t be ready until sometime later in the afternoon!

I ordered at 11:45pm. Expected delivery was 12:45, and all delivery apps and google says theyre open until 3. We wait until 1:25am to call, get told rudely theyre closed for the night and the last delivery just went out. We wait 15 more minutes and grubhub (actually insomnia delivery) still says arriving soon. I had to chat with grubhub and get a refund. Hope everythings okay with the driver. If so, this was just really disappointing.

Order got cancelled because delivery driver went home early. People working there were incompetent and didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing.

Chocolate cookies are pretty much my weakness in life, and I have to say, these are some of the best cookies I’ve ever had.I went and bought $34 worth of cookies giving me 6 if the large “delux” cookies and about 4 regular cookies for me and my friends. The Delux comes as either: Chocolate peanut, S’mores, and buttercup all at $3.20, and all the traditional (regular) cookies are almost all $1.60.The price is of course a bit high, but for the quality, it’s worth it to me.

I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with the service I received from Insomnia Cookies, specifically the store location in University City, MO. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Do not frequent this particular location.I had ordered the cookies as a grandparent’s day gift and notified the recipients to expect a delivery on 9/13 at 1 pm. At approximately 3 pm, they texted me that there has been no cookie delivery. I then proceeded to contact Insomnia Cookies customer service line where they called the location and said they were not busy and the cookie should be delivered within 30-40 minutes. I thanked them and informed the recipients to expect a delivery within 1 hour and if nothing, to let me know and I would call them again. An hour passed by and nothing. So I decided to try and call the location myself. Unfortunately, since I’m in California, I couldn’t remember exactly what location I had ordered the cookies so I called several stores and they all said they didn’t have my order. (Which btw, apparently around 6 pm there is a shift change and no communication between shifts.) So I try calling the Insomnia Cookies customer service line again. They called the store directly and informed me that they spoke to the manager who apologized, was packing up the cookies and they would be delivered. They said the manager also offered to reimburse me 50% of my order which I said yes, please. An hour later, I decided to call the store directly and was speaking to a male gentleman who claimed to be the manager. When I asked if my order had been delivered (because I already felt bad contacting the grandparents so many times today) he rudely said he did not have my order on file, asked for the name, and said he doesn’t know what I want him to do and then he hung up on me. At this point, my husband said I think it’s just time to call back customer service and ask for a full refund. So we called back customer service, asked for a full refund (which they said will take 3 – 5 business days and I will be watching my credit card account for this reimbursement), and we verified that there were notes in the system that we had called two other times.No, I will not be patronizing Insomnia Cookies again. Terrible service from the Delmar location but at least the customer service line was helpful and kind. I am also really disappointed that I did not read the recent Google reviews because if I had, I would see the current bad reviews and could have saved myself the trouble

Good Cookies nice and warm

Cookies were warm when they arrived. I don’t eat s’mores but the s’mores cookie was my favorite. Definitely puts you in a good mood to have warm cookies and milk delivered.

I placed an order at 10 am for delivery at 4:15pm. Order was 55 mins late.I was late to the party I was supposed to bring them to and my office closed at 5 so I had to wait after hours. I called at 4:20 to ask for the status and was told it would be there soon and was “on the way”. Then it showed up 40 minutes later... Extremely disappointed with the service and will not recommend.

The staff was nice, the prices were expected. The cookies were hot and tasted great.

My order was supposed to arrive at 11:45 PM. I call them an hour later and my order is still waiting to be picked up by a Postmates driver because there were no in house drivers. An hour after that I bite the bullet and drive to the place to pick up my no longer warm cookies and theyre CLOSED! Luckily, I spoke to customer service and they processed a refund. But overall, this was extremely unprofessional on their part and I wont be ordering from them again.

Delmar location!!!! Whoever manages this place is actually a nice person the people he hired at this location are nice too the problem is me and my girlfriend are very loyal costumers. Insomnia cookies, more like insane cookies. Tonight I was in the Delmar loop having dinner and wanted to go to insomnia cookies to satisfy my sweet tooth. As soon as I walked in I was immediately overwhelmed by the 10 people standing in front of the register not being helped. Finally someone with long uncovered hair walked to the register and slowly took the order of the people in front of me. After she took their order she twirled her long hair/extensions and without gloves got the customers their cookies. We were so disgusted by the level of uncleanliness we walked out.We went back home, which is with in the delivery radius and decided we still wanted the cookies. I spent 30 minutes googling and even called 411 and they could not find the number. How could a business not have a store number easily accessible on the INTERNET ?! We finally found their 800 number which was not even on their website!! When I called I was so confused that I had to talk to someone in a call center in PA to order a cookie in MO?!? Im not calling for dell tech support or ordering an exotic pet!! Im ordering cookies from a store less than 4 minutes away!! The call center didnt know what cookies were made in my local store. They had to go on line and literally look up what was on the menu. They didnt have the prices or any information on specials. I chose to make my own after the level of incompetence I experienced tonight.I really like the cookies,especially the smores cookies. Its a shame they were unable to have a ordering model that made sense. Why cant you have a local number? Every legitimate business has a phone number. If I wanted to order cookies for a party or check my order status, how would I be able to do so in a timely fashion. I would be a regular customer if I could call the store and speak to someone in my area.

Went there for the 1st time with my wife, daughter, and son-in-law. All I can say is Id like to meet the genius behind using warm cookies for an ice cream sandwich. It is the most amazing thing ever. Ordered online through their website with guest login. Half an hour later it showed that order has been delivered though I didnt receive anything. Tried contacting them on phone but to no avail. Finally reached someone on chat who tells me that the driver clicked on the delivered check box by mistake. Another 30 min wait later I get the order (which was supposed to be ASAP). But the ordeal isnt over yet. I open the box to see that its cold and theyve messed up several items. Wont order from here ever again!

Go to the other location. This one has lazy employees who act like they are being incredibly inconvenienced every time they have to get a cookie for someone. They are also out of half there cookies every time I go here. The location on the other side of town is 1,000 times better.

The staff was great and the kitchen looked clean. However, the cookies themselves did not seem to be made from scratch. They tasted too sweet and like a cookie from Subway. It was a bummer considering the cost.

Store trys to close 2 hours early & still have the nerve to charge me for my cookies & not give them to me. Until i mentioned why’d they close so early.

The service and attitude of the employees is horrible. I just came in for a warm brownie with a scoop of ice cream. There was no greeting from employee. She rang me up and then after charging my card told me the oven was full and she couldn’t warm my brownie. Plus it took 3 tries of her repeating herself because she wouldn’t speak clearly so I could understand her. Maybe I should have tried Hot Box instead.

I really love how fast the delivery is! It literally take about 5-10 minutes at 1:30 am. Sometimes maybe one out of 6 cookies arent y what I ordered but they give me an extra cookie to make up for it. Great place of business 👍🏽

The fact that they deliver sells me!! I love the sugar cookies -- especially with the butter pecan ice cream. I usually stop in to the place every once in awhile when visiting the Delmar Loop but decided to get cookies delivered this past weekend. All of my cookies were nice and warm, tasted super fresh and they were delivered to me very quickly. The delivery driver (Alicia?) was THE NICEST delivery person I think Ive ever encountered. My apartment is a little weird to find so she had to call and verify where I was. She was so polite, patient, and genuine. I will be ordering again!

This is a great tiny bakery type store. They are open late and they delivery to a select area. Which we are just right out of range. The parking is not bad considering its in the loop. We got a dozen cookies which are moist and fantastic, we also got a pint of strawberry ice cream which tastes fresh and had real strawberries in it. I swear if your a cookie fanatic like my boyfriend or an ice cream freak like me this is your go to place. We went at like 2:30 am and had the friendliest service.

Love the fact its almost 24/7, customer service is real chill too, the people have personalities to relate with, thats always a plus

The ice-cream is sub-par. I was really craving for some ice-cream but it tasted like any other store bought ice-cream. The portions are very weird, the medium is not much larger than the small but is worth $1.25-ish more. There cookies are okay, but not worth the amount you pay for. However it is open late at night which is a plus for the late night sweet tooth run. All in all a sub-par place with okay-ish food. Once was good enough.

I went here 02/7/ 2017. My friend orders some cookies for her. The guy that serve us was very funny, and polite. The cookies were hot fresh. I ate mine in seconds lol. I would highly recommend this place.

I showed up at 1:40am. Some lady came out from behind and apologized but told me they were out of cookies for the night. Told me to go to another location. My boyfriend and I went out to the car and call the other location to make sure they had cookies. And I watched someone come out the front door with a box of cookies. Wont be returning to this location.

Meh! It tasted like store-bought, regular-sized cookies that were warm. I think they were too expensive for what you got. But I guess its just one of those places you have to experience for yourselves. Its can be fun to go to a place like that, later at night and get warm cookies, despite the price I guess.

4/24/19 Last night we stopped by and the service being super slow. There was only one person working and there about 6 people cramped inside waiting to make a purchase. I was also wondering why management allowed the cashier to work in her house shoes?4/25/19 They were supposed to open at 11am today, by 11:15am they still werent open so we left. This has happened about 3 times; not opening on time.I think I need to buy my ice cream and cookies from the grocery store. I shouldnt be getting this frustrated over house shoes and cookies!

We went at 2 PM on a Thursday. Everything we wanted they were out of. We wanted m&m cookie, out! We wanted snickerdoodle, out! Wanted brownie, out! Delicious cookies, delivery leaves a lot to be desired. I had a delivery time of eleven pm and the cookies were delivered without the ice cream. The driver explained that be would be right back with the ice cream and we called the store because we were confused. Basically, depending on the route and # of deliveries they will deliver ice cream separately. A little disingenuous when its 11:38 and I still dont have ice cream.. Two cookie ice cream sandwiches cost about $17, but cost even more of my time.Edit: Ice cream eventually showed up. I dont fault the delivery driver at all, but Insomnia should really work on their logistics so that drivers dont have to make second trips for ice cream.

I tried this place about a week ago, and I been hooked ever since. The staff was friendly, I told her it was first time there,and she recommended some things. It was about 2 in the morning and the cookies were soft and warm. I recommend the smore cookie.

I was in St.Louis to teach a class and ordered cookie delivery for my students and the school staff. Fresh, warm, delicious cookies as an afternoon treat? Perfection.
