If you don’t come in here And get the owners son. Walk out . These place will try to sell you on bigger packages so they can charge you more to ship. And I’m not taking 1$ or 2$ we caught on to them giving us a package that was 1” bigger and charging us 15$ more. We send a lot of stuff through them or used to. Honestly avoid this place like the plague! Terrible service! Beyond bad service and definitely not honest

Never ever send your package there. My package came back, I tried to send it again at the Fife distribution and it was lost. The. Young man at the counter accused me of having a attitude in front of other customers because I was asking questions about filing a lost claim and he obviously didn’t know. But I was asking for help of to find the answer and solve the problem the about filing a claim. So I apologized for him feeling or thinking that I was at him, which I was not. He then said “we are all adults” as if I shouldnt ask what to do. He continue to ignore me until I asked again. There was no effective communication and he was really rude. I felt I was inconveniencing his time and he and the owner have no clue how to run their business. Worse serve ever.

Went to the UPS store yesterday to return an Amazon box. Attempted to use the code on my phone, however, was informed, that this code was already used. The young Lady, by the name of Ciara, offered to help me installing the Amazon App. She was able to get everything set up, and returned the Amazon item. I was truly grateful to Ciara, for patiently helping an old woman succeed, with an ever changing technology. This is Costumer Service at it’s BEST! Thank you very much Ciara for your patience, and caring. This was done on Ciaras second day of employment. You will go far in life, dear Ciara. This UPS store deserve a recognition for outstanding customer services.
Asian lady was very rude to every customer. She needs to learn how to do customer service.

IGNORES DISABILITIES ACCOMMODATIONS. So. The manager takes the chair from the desk so people cant sit and work the computer to print files. Fair enough, Covid happens. But the desk is not a standing desk. Unlike the other UPS stores, this one requires you to either crouch painfully over the desk, or kneel on the floor in order to work the computer and print documents. Not going back.

The Counter person was unbelievably rude. I came in and immediately apologized, because after checking my receipt I realized I had given them the wrong Amazon return code for an item I had dropped off ten minutes before. He told me he wouldnt be able to find the item. I told him I watched him toss it the bin right behind him and described it . He huffed and puffed his way over and angrily been tossing the items about and it took him less than a minute to find it. He then had to rip the sticky label off and he stood there glaring and shaking his head at me while he did it! I said a bit irritably, Im sorry I made you work so hard. He still said nothing, so when I left I said I guess Ill never be coming back here again.
I was just charged .50 extra for using my VISA on a $4.40 purchase. I only go here when I have to. They seem to nickel and dime you if they can.

Dont get your items packaged here, way Over priced, adding more inches to the package is not ok. I understand if you add one more inch but more than one is unacceptable. Korean lady is very rude, seemed like she is the owner but she needs to step aside and let her employees do their job. So if you want to go here please make sure they are measuring Correctly and getting charged what you ask for and or package at home and avoid the rude Korean lady.
Not sure if it changed ownership but the middle aged Asian lady was super rude and unhelpful with an Amazon return I had to pay her to print a label, she made me get a 60lb item up in the counter on her tiny scale. She was so rude. Will find a new UPS store
The service agent was working alone with a long line today (Saturday) .She was very efficient and friendly and never got flustered. She moved the line quickly. Great service!
Lost the package, don’t send anything here
I have had a PO box here for almost a year. The staff is really quick and VERY courteous. I really appreciate the friendly gestures and awesome service. If there was a problem in the past,..? Its been fixed.

The staff is very helpful & knowledgeable. Even during busy holiday seasons, they are very organized to make each visit pleasant. I only use this location as I ship many packages, and trust that each shipment is processed right. Been a loyal customer for years. Thank you for all your help.
I went to this location, and as with my previous visits, the customer service was fine. However, today, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, neither the one customer nor the person working behind the register was wearing a mask. Additionally, the young lady behind the counter wasnt wearing gloves, and she handled the items that I brought in. If I was as irresponsible and reckless AND possibly positive for the virus, they both wouldve been exposed. Whats worse... If either of them are positive, now I could be!!! On one hand, I appreciate being trusted; on the other hand, this is a serious and dangerous time, and people need to follow the CDCs guidelines to stay safe and healthy.
Everyone at this store is so helpful and obliging. They go above and beyond the boundaries of customer service to ensure that their customers are taken care of in the best way possible. I have gone to this store on several occasions, and each time has been a seamless, enjoyable experience!
Worse service ever.Wanted to print 3 pages via online printing and send to this store location email (I thought this is how it supposed to work, and so far worked in every other UPS store besides this one).I was told by the worker that she would need to log in to the system and politely ask me if I can print return labels on their computer.I was like??? I would need to log in on your PC as well??? so would be easier if she would to that through their system since I had already email prepared ready to send.She insisted that I do that by myself. I thought whatever Im not going to argue with her. So printed the return labels, and paid for printing the pages. But then was like... Wait a minute why I paid over $2 for 3 pages of black and white print?Then Realised lady charged me for using computer station, because she wouldnt log on by herself and print it via online print... I could care less about $2, but it just wasnt fair.Be aware!
A young man helped me return a package quickly and efficiently. The entire process took less than a minute and I walked out surprised by how easy it was since many reviews said otherwise. The mans voice was a bit monotone, but he was polite and said Hello and Have a nice day. And, honestly, I dont expect any staff at any store to literally celebrate the appearance of a customer. So, I was satisfied with my visit.
The owner/manager/whomever is rude and unhelpful! On your personal cell phone when customers come in and need assistance and then act irritated that you have to hang up? Thank goodness another customer in line was able to answer my questions that the employee/manager should have been able to assist with. Other employees here have been excellent. The woman who I believe runs the place shouldn’t be in customer service.
I took my DJI Inspire 2 drone and camera there to have it shipped to the DJI repair shop, I had the labels already for both items all that was needed was to have it packed by them. So I walk up to the guy (I am assuming he is the son of the owner) and I tell him if he could pack this, he stops me before I finish and tells me UPS has policy against shipping drones or electronics (no kidding, he said this). I then ask him why? Hes stumped and tells me that he doesnt know, he then tells me that the Fife UPS hub will ship it. I tell him that my drone is broken and being sent in for repairs, what liability there are no batteries. He just looks at me. I know that he was not being truthful due to the fact that drones get shipped from the manufacturer all the time by UPS as well a electronics, mine did when I bought it from DJI, as a matter of fact, I had a preprinted label from the DJI drone company for the return. I think he lied to me because he did not feel like packing the drone (a commercial drone about 2 feet by 2 feet in shipping mode). I called one UPS store and went to another in Federal way and both stores said that theyve never heard of such a policy, one employee said thats strange to say that. They asked me which store was it and told them the UPS store on Bridgeport way in University Place. Ive had a similar encounter with the same guy a few years back when he wouldnt ship another item, so went to another UPS store. I have to say that this guy is terrible at customer service, terrible. He lied to me either because he didnt like me or was just lazy.
So I asked to speak with a manager but apparently I was speaking with the owner of 17 years. (Who knew.. no customer service skills whatsoever ever) She not only was rude but (and I hate to say) but she has a strong accent/ her English skills are either limited or hard to understand. Anyways she tell proceeded to tell me my communication was not very good. What? My communication was fine she is rude & hard to understand. I honestly feel like she just A) was trying to over charge or B) honestly just didn’t understand. Which is fine and we could have worked around that, but the lack of customer service skills and rudeness is an issue. What’s also funny is that I’ve been coming to this store religiously for the last 2+ years and I’ve seen this woman. Maybe 3x and I talked with her once and had not quite the same issue but similar and just decided to come back when someone else was there. Now I definitely will not be bringing my business back here.
I have never had a bad experience at this store and have been a customer for over a decade. Easy, people are friendly... and how UPS handles Amazon Prime or just Amazon returns is extremely simple, easy. The gentleman at the front counter (wish I got his name) was friendly, fast and accurate.
The woman working started shaking her head no when I handed her the shipping envelope. She said something in broken English that I didn’t understand. I asked her what she said and I think she said that she cannot send it out in a “next day” envelope????? I said what? Then she handed me a receipt as she was shaking her head no. I have no idea what she was going on about and she was rude. Extremely unprofessional and unfriendly. I miss the days when businesses actually appreciated your business.
When I asked for help the 2 store reps did not appear to want to help, were brief, and went back to gossiping. Then when I went to pay for my item I learned I was being charged for color copies even though I only wanted it printed out in black & white. I told them that they need a sign that says that it will automatically print out in color, she didnt respond nor cared. On top of that she tried to charge me every page in color even though they were not all in color. This store does care to help you they just want to take as much money from you as possible-not even worthy of 1 star but I have to give one.

The man who identifies as the manger has horrible customer service and this store does not honor “fixes” that Corporate UPS arranges for their customers. They are dishonest. Use another location, or better yet, use the Post Office

My mailbox at home is constantly broken into so I decided to rent from here. I personally havent experienced poor customer service and the mailbox is pretty cheap. I always receive a text to let me know my packages have arrived. I love that!
Update: I think the lady got S-canned. Customer service is much better now.I agree with everyone. The customer service from this lady is atrocious. My entire transaction was completed without a word from her. Not even a hello or thank you. What country am I in?
Young man was only employee in this store. I asked if I can ship envelope via DHL and he said they didnt do that and he cant help me. This store is listed on the DHL website, in fact, all UPS Stores are listed. He didnt offer to send me to a UPS store who would mail the envelope. I think customer service would be better. Went to the Mail Room down the street and am extremely happy dealing with the Mail Room. I was in and out in 3 minutes and was thanked dropping off the envelope.

I recently moved to Tacoma from Indiana. I had AT&t wifi while I was in Indiana. I talked with AT&t Representatives before I left Indiana, and they said I could take the unit with me and have it mailed from any UPS store. Today I went to this particular UPS store and was greatly disappointed. The employee told me that it was AT&t DirecTV. I politely said that no I did not have DirecTV when I was in Indiana. I had my account number handy, and the employee ask for my name and account number. When he entered it he said that he could not access it through DirecTV. Again I reminded him that it is not DirecTV. He only attempted twice and then said I would have to take it to an AT&t store. I went across the street to the AT&t store where the associate was able to get me in touch with a better UPS store. He said that this store had only a two star rating for this very reason. I went to another UPS store where my equipment was easily prepared and shipped. They will be receiving an excellent review!** Please LIKE my review, if it helps you!

Gave me incorrect information and then told me to contact UPS! KINDLY transferred my postage from one envelope to another (charged me $1.65) and TAPED over the postage. It was returned to my home today. I brought it back to the store and the lady only put $1.64 on the package and gave me $5.I expected more for my time and stress. Will not be going back. EVER! I also wrote corporate.

0 stars. I went in to mail a care package, and needed a box, I wasnt allowed to pack it myself, was told to put all my stuff in a pile on the counter and that she would get to it later. WHAT??? I had a few high priced items I was sending, including an ipod. I asked repeatedly to pack it myself and she (Asian lady) said no. I have never in my life been told to put my mailing items in a pile and leave it in the open in a busy office. I have no receipt of my things going into a box. I only have a copy of the mailing label. I am never ever going to this one again. I swear to god, if my gf doesnt get all her things, I will be back, but not in a nice way.

Terrible experience. I rented a box here, but packages were returned because the staff insisted that I did not actually have a box rented. They then refused a full refund because that is not allowed by the terms of the rental contract. For the box I rented. That they told USPS I did not have. Ug.Steer clear of this place, go USPS or the UPS Store in Lakewood.

Ive also observed their interactions with numerous other customers and they are always amazingly patient and helpful. I just dont underatnd the nagative comments in some other reviews.
