Kate made my wedding dress shopping experience one we will never forget. She reached out to me the week leading up to the appointment to go over what I was looking for and even gave me a sneak peak of some dresses she pulled for the upcoming appointment. Every single dress I put on was beautiful. With Kates help I was able to find my dream dress!

Our consultant was fantastic. She was great with my young daughters who came to help. I never felt rushed or pushed. It was my best experience after looking at 2 other shops. I did say yes to the dress.

I bought my wedding dress from Michelles on Thursday, July 22nd, 2021. I had a great experience with my stylist, Kate. She was able to figure out what the perfect dress for me would be almost immediately. I couldnt ask for a better experience! Its really wonderful how many dresses they offer, but even better that they have skilled staff who are able to pick out what is right for you so that you are not overwhelmed with choices. (Very reasonable prices too!)

I was pretty nervous to go and find a wedding dress but I ended up having the most amazing time! My fantastic stylist Kate even called me before the appointment just to give me a few details and talk about how it would go. She was so incredibly sweet and helpful! When I arrived at the store, she had already pulled some dresses for me to try based off of the online form they had me fill out so they had an idea of what I was looking for. Kate was so professional but at the same time was warm and conversational and offered wonderful suggestions about options concerning the dresses. I did end up finding my dream wedding dress! It was a really good price too! I would HIGHLY recommend this shop above all others!! I have two sisters and because we were so impressed with the shop, they will definitely be coming here in the future to look for their wedding dresses as well! Thank you so much! I went in and got measured for a tux. I got the tux a week before the wedding. My pants were a inch short and I put on some weight so the jacket was tighter than we wanted. I brought them in the next day and problem was solved within the hour. Great service. Listened to customer needs. Highly recommended

Daisy was awesome and the experience wonderful. It was disappointing that the dress I chose first, loved, and was only twice what I budgeted was not marked as discontinued so, when we went to order, we could not. I ended up with a dress I really like but is 3 times my budget. Just disappointing when you have your hopes dashed.

Michelle’s took such great care of me! Melinda was amazingly patient especially considering I changed the style of preference a couple of different times. There was a vast amount of options to try on and Melinda made sure to “fit” every single one with clips, spacers, etc. to ensure I had the full idea of how each dress would fit as if it were made for me. I was a tad late for my appointment today but Kayla who was my stylist understood and still made my very first wedding dress experience out of this world. She worked with us on prices and just made it so easy. I was in dresses for maybe all of 20 minutes and there was just the one i had to put on a second time because it just felt right. I wish I could give 100 stars! I had such an amazing experience and its such a beautiful shop! I had a group of 11 girls and I booked what is called a Champagne Appointment. We had the entire store to ourselves and some goodies to go along with. When I arrived my stylist, Kate, already had my fitting room together and I was able to start trying on right away! There were so many options and Kate was more than accommodating! She was so sweet, genuine, and super easy to get along with. She took what I was saying into consideration with every additional dress or accessory she pulled. Seriously, Kate is amazing!! I found the dress of my dreams and it was actually the first one I tried on! I loved it so much I didnt want to take it off at the end of my appointment. I had made an appointment at your store to look for a Mother of the Groom dress for my son’s wedding this August. My daughter also had an appointment and was looking for a dress to wear to her brother’s wedding. We were graciously welcomed when we entered the store. I went in for my first time trying on wedding dresses, and left having bought the second dress that I tried on there! I think Cassidy knew before I did that I was going to say yes to this dress, but she still pulled many different styles for me to try so that we could narrow down what I was looking for. She also helped me pick out a veil to go with the dress. Overall, it was a great experience.

I went to Michelle’s in Urbana, IL for my very first wedding dress shopping experience! I scheduled a Champagne appointment for me and 9 of my close family members! They decorated the room so nicely, had treats, drinks (champagne, orange juice, coffee, and water) and were so accommodating!Kate was my stylist. She reached out to me about a week and a half before my appt and had me fill out a survey to understand my style preferences, budget, and attach my Pinterest board of all the dresses I’ve seen and liked so far! From there, she pulled dresses that were nearly identical to my Pinterest board and sent my pictures and videos of my sneak peak closet! I loved this because she already knew what I wanted before I stepped foot into Michelle’s and was prepared to make those adjustments if I didn’t end up liking the dress like I thought I would. All in all, I chose my wedding dress! It was one that she pulled before I even arrived! I am very pleased with my Champagne appt and encourage any bride who has an increased amount of guests, a time limit, or just like to make the experience that much more special to schedule their own Champagne appt!

Unlike other bridal stores, Michelles Bridal had an e-mail consultation with me to describe what style of dresses I like, what I dont like, and what my wedding colors are. They ask of a budget to be respectful of. They hand pick a room full of gowns for you so youre all set and stress free when you get there. Melinda was my stylist and she was SO sweet! So helpful. Made me feel so good even though I have body confidence issues. She even found me a veil to go with my dress that was still in budget with my dress. She was so respectful, and so kind. If only I were getting married twice, Id come back and ask for Melinda. My mom was a Michelles bride back in 81 and now, 2020 my dream came true too. #likemotherlikedaughter

I always love working with Cassidy! She’s my first choice when it comes to scheduling appointments. The whole experience was so fun! I ended up choosing the last dress I tried on and wouldn’t have found it without her help!

Everything became a poor experience, my bridesmaids dresses were measured wrong and the zippers were defective. Still after they were “fixed” still don’t zip correctly and it is now only a month before my wedding. Also, when I go to get my dress altered I find a hole in my wedding dress.

I had a virtual bridal appointment with Michelles Bridal and I cannot thank them enough. They went above and beyond for me to make my experience just the same as if I was in the store, if not better. They picked 5 great dress options for me, I was able to try them on as many times as I wanted, and then I finally knew which dress was the one! I popped confetti poppers to celebrate with my mom as well as all my bridesmaids who were there via Zoom. I would recommend these appointments to any bride that needs a wedding dress this year.

I’ve always gotten prom/homecoming dresses from M2. It was a dream of mine to one day get my wedding dress from Michelle’s. The consultants were wonderful and accommodating during my walk-in visit. I left with a great dress in mind but was unsure if I was ready to commit. They were there through many phone calls, as I live out of state, and made ordering my perfect dress stress free! I am so pleased with the friendliness of all staff, whether we came in contact in person or over the phone.

The whole process of saying yes to the dress was made easy because of Michelle’s Bridal! I took a survey, sent over my Pinterest, and gave them a couple ideas of what I was looking for. Two weeks before my appointment I got a text from my personal stylist with photos/videos of the dresses she had pulled for me. PRECIOUS, MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE!I’m a little older and have been through some things, so this is a time of my life that I’m getting to experience some things I’ve missed out on. Long story short, I have been to some different places, and literally none of them came close at all to my experience at Michelle’s Bridal and Tuxedo!From the very first contact on line, I appreciated the process of getting to know me through the questionnaire, contacting me to talk things through, and knowing there would be a closet prepared for me with dresses waiting to try on. Once there, Melinda gave me the absolute best experience in so many ways!First of all, I have to say that I know I did not make it easy for her with the examples I sent to her of what I was interested in. I did not know what I was doing and only knew dresses I think are pretty, but may not be realistic on me, so I sent her a crazy variety of examples. Melinda had the most beautiful variety of dresses waiting for me! Every dress was stunning and unique with so many completely different styles to try, making it super fun and very difficult to choose. Even the way she got me in and out of the dresses was done in a way that was gentle and modest, because honestly, at another place I went to, the lady was sweet but she pinched, clawed, and poked me, and at one point while trying to force me into a small dress, I thought I might crack a rib! But Melinda was smooth in getting me in and out of those dresses and clipping/fitting them.I loved that she hit it off with my best friend/maid of honor so they were a wonderful team for me! And her years of experience and expertise, combined with how quickly and well she tuned into me, was so incredibly helpful to me! She was always ready with a variety of accessories to experiment with and enhance a look. I especially appreciate that she never once tried to hard-sell me, because nothing makes me head for the hills faster! I truly believe that she had my best interest at heart, and she always respected my price point and kept me under budget. Not to mention, she’s just a lovely person and just cool.The establishment itself is nice and I was very comfortable with my dressing area that even came with water and snacks. Beautiful store, with a great selection of dresses and accessories. The best part about Michelles Bridal is hands down their employees and great customer service! I went their a handful of times and never once had a bad experience. I had been to other Bridal stores before Michelles and many times the associates would try to pressure me into buying something and then get annoyed with me when I didnt. At Michelles everyone was always very patient with me and extremely nice. We ended up getting the tuxes through their store, even though it was a bit out of our way for returning them, because of their great service.Our tuxedo rental experience was also top notch with them. Our groomsmen were all spread out around the country and state, and with Jims Formal Wear being a national chain, each groomsman was able to find a store near them to get measured at. The tuxedos were mailed to everyone without any hiccups. We did end up having to get 2 items for different sizes but we had no problems with doing that in time. Everyone who called in for questions or to provide their measurements complimented the great customer service they received too.Overall, I highly recommend looking here for your dress and/or tuxes!!

I had a last minute event which required me to rent a tuxedo. I didnt even realize Michelles bridal had tuxedo rentals but I was pleasantly surprised. They were able to get me a nice tux in a short amount of time at a fair price. I worked with Kayla and she was awesome. She listened to what I wanted, took the measurements, made a few suggestions on style and got my order placed promptly. Kayla was spot on and I would certainly recommend Michelles Bridal and Tuxedo.

I absolutely love my experience with Michelle’s! The entire process with them has been perfect! The staff there are so kind! They have this positive and happy energy when you go into the store which matched my excitement to try on dresses. The entire process of purchasing, shipment, to customer service has been wonderful. One of my favorite things was they sent me a handwritten letter to congratulate my big day and with the letter came a suggested outline of when to get the other stuff like bridesmaids dresses, tuxes, etc. It is little stuff like that that makes me want to recommend this store to any new bride!

Michelle’s bridal was such a great experience for me! I found my wedding dress in 30 minutes, a dress that one of the employees, Cassidy, picked out for me. She is a wonderful stylist! I made an appointment to look for a MOB dress. I explained prior to the appointment I did NOT want a typical MOB dress....instead wanted more of a pageant gown. I even told the sales person on the phone the designer name I was looking for. I was assured there would be no problem. When I arrived for the appointment with my daughter, (who was smart enough to have purchased her wedding gown at a high end designer wedding gown retailer in Indianapolis), I was immediately ushered to the MOB room and shown extremely ugly, plain, colorless gowns--exactly what I DID NOT WANT. This was after we were not greeted in a friendly fashion and had to wait even with an appointment. I told the consultant explicitly it was not what I wanted, and I had clearly indicated what my preferences were when I made the appointment. The consultant acted like she knew best what I should wear(?)...whos buying the dress, anyway? I informed her the gowns she showed me were best suited for an 80-year-old. Im giving the experience two stars simply because I ended up purchasing my MOB dress on the M2 side of the store, where I received excellent service and have always received excellent service, as we have purchased multiple prom dresses for my daughter over the years and I have referred several friends there for prom dresses.I cant recommend the bridal side of the store. Epic fail from the minute I walked in. Agree with previous posters. Poor service, snobbish.

I had the best experience here. I have dreamed of this day since I was a little girl and they could not have made it any better. Josaphine was my person and she was the best. She made it so special and without her it would not have went as perfect.

Had the most amazing experience with Michelles! I went to a chain bridal store and tried on some dresses before going to Michelles, and I was left unimpressed by the chain-store experience. Everything we (my mom especially) were dis-satisfied about at the first store was a COMPLETE 180 here. When I walked in, I was greeted by name, and my consultant knew where I was getting married, our date, and asked even more about our story throughout the day. I thought I would be saving money at the chain-store, but I found something within my desired price range (actually cheaper than the only dress I loved at the other place) with no issue. My consultant listened to my critiques about dresses and brought in other similar styles, silhouettes, etc. to try on and fit my look. I have watched many Say Yes to the Dress episodes, so a small part of me wanted to be extra when I did choose a dress. Michelles offered than opportunity as well, and I went for the more muted option of just taking a photo with the I said yes sign. My consultant even brought in bridesmaid dresses in the colors I had in my head to see them next to my gown & visualize it for real. Cassidy, you were so wonderful!! Cant wait to run into you again when I finally get to pick up my dress. :)

Found my wedding dress here. The staff was very helpful and listened to me and what I wanted. Picked a dress I never would have tried but they knew it fit my picture of my wedding and it was perfect!

I found my dress at Michelles and had the BEST experience! Everyone was super kind and accommodating to what I wanted, my budget and making me feel comfortable. I would recommend 10/10 times! So many options and everyone really is so kind and friendly!

Michelle’s Bridal was such an amazing experience! Hannah made me feel comfortable, and was extremely helpful! She contacted me the week prior to my appointment to find out what I liked and disliked, and with that information was able to have a great selection of dresses waiting for me. She did a fantastic job at accessorizing the dress I loved, and was able to answer all my questions and concerns throughout the whole process. Compared to my other experiences with dress shopping, this one doesn’t even compare. Hannah was amazing and helpful, the dressing area was personalized and cute, and the selection of gowns was perfect!

I can’t believe how amazing my experience was! I was so nervous and excited going into it and my family can be very opinionated. Kayla was my stylist and I couldn’t have asked for someone better!!! We had some one on one time and she got to hear everything I think of the dresses and not what everyone else wanted! With just a few dresses I was saying how I like ones top and another’s bottom and so on and then she went and picked a dress that was a mix of everything I had been saying and that was the dress I picked it was absolutely perfect! I can not thank Kayla enough!

We had an amazing time with a Champagne appointment - amazing service, fun employees, relaxed atmosphere, and beautiful dresses! Cannot wait to wear my dress on my wedding day, thanks for being the best place to shop!!

I absolutely loved this store! We went to a couple other places and were not pleased. The service was poor and the dresses were way over priced. But at Michelle’s, we met Cassidy and she was incredible!! She messaged me before the appointment and got an idea of what I liked! Sure enough, the first dress she picked out for me ended up being the one I said yes to!! It was such an amazing day!

Staff and consultants were absolutely amazing. Kayla was so kind and friendly and patient. She pulled beautiful dresses for me to look at before I arrived. She was very fun and patient with my crazy family!
