I bought a new Terrain from Carbone and they were great. My salesman Ray was very patient with me and made the car buying process easier. He was not pushy at all and willing to work with me every stepof the way. The Business Manager did his best to get me the beat interest rate and was very prompt in getting my deal together. They were all very friendly and wonderful.

I don’t even know where to begin. I found a vehicle that had everything I needed and enough space for my family. I submitted an offer online, was contacted quickly by the dealership, and got the ball rolling. They kept in contact with me and assisted with financing over the phone because I’m two hours away. We set up an appointment for me to come test drive it and sign paperwork. Then I found out that I have covid. I let them know that I would have to wait a couple of weeks. They said they would arrange for me to sign all the papers online, and would even deliver the vehicle to my home! Great, right? Sure, except that I happened to go back to the listing of the vehicle to send the link to someone, and the entire listing had changed. All of the features that I wanted were no longer listed, and it was advertised as a completely different style. I reached out to ask what happened and was told that it was a “misprint.” Yet no one contacted me to let me know, and they had already run my credit for financing which will result in several inquiries being reported to my credit. They also took a deposit from me. They are supposed to call me tomorrow to finalize everything and arrange delivery. Of course, this is not the car that I thought I was getting and I don’t even want it anymore. I will update this review after I see what they have to say, but just beware. Do not let them do anything with financing until you have seen the car in person. I’m just devastated. Now my credit is going to take a dive from all the inquiries and I don’t even know if I’ll be able to shop elsewhere. I feel trapped. Hopefully they don’t give me a hassle about returning my deposit, because they clearly misled me and falsely advertised the car.

Ive driven suburbans for the last 20 years. Went down to Carbone Pontiac GMC and met Ray. He showed me a 2014 Cadillac ESV premium with 67,000 mi on it. Was totally impressed with the vehicle. They gave me a more than fair trade in value and a great price on the caddy. Best car buying experience Ive had in 20 years. Couldnt be happier. Ask for Ray when you go down

I went there last winter to buy a used 2018 GMC Denali after my truck was totaled. I had the insurance money in my bank account and when I went to go pay, they told me I needed money orders or certified checks and only accept, I believe, $5,000 via debit card. So I went to the post office/Walmart to try and get these and there is obviously a limit to the max you can do. So I was able to get a couple. These guys didn’t tell me they were capable of doing a wire transfer until about 2 hours after the fact of having to figure out how I’m going to pay them. I had to call my insurance company and ask them what to do and they were in disbelief that the dealership didn’t tell me to use a wire transfer in the first place since it was such a large amount.Not only that, they overcharged me (which they reimbursed AFTER I called them out about it). Just a poorly run business.The truck that I got: all 4 tires dry rotted in the first 6 months and they wouldn’t cover it. There seems to be a bunch of electrical issues because my four-wheel drive went and the automatic foot rail keeps going off when it’s not supposed to.I will say that the service department has been great every time I’ve been there. Although they are severely understaffed and, as of right now, the wait times to get an appointment is weeks out. They are the reason for not getting a one star.Lastly, I wasn’t going to write a review until I just received an email from them asking if I was still in the process of searching for a vehicle and they ensured they “go out of their way to create a great dealership experience.” Really great customer service.

I honestly had a pretty good experience overall. A couple of hiccups that were out of their control but I will say that everyone I worked with at Carbone was very helpful. I had a wonderful experience with Bridgette from my online sale inquiry, Chanda who helped make the vehicle arrangements and make my 3 hour drive worth it, and Timothy who helped me through the financial stuff and any problems I had. Even after the sale was finalized, this dealership was super helpful in the follow-up! Would definitely try to buy my next truck through them!

Will not answer you back via, text, phone, chat etc. As a returning customer you would think that you would get better care. I had a problem with my rust protection package concerning My 2019 GMC Sierra AT4. I brought this undercarriage problem to the attention of general sales manager Josh. He immediately got the F and I manager Timothy Clark involved in this problem. Mr. Clark immediately acknowledged my concerns regarding the rust proof protection and application. We bought a truck there on 7/24/21 and purchased the extended warranty. I notified the dealership 3 days later that we wanted to cancel the extended warranty 3 days later, they said they would cancel it. The extended warranty still hasnt been cancelled as of today 9/2/21 and the refund of $1910 issued. We will never buy another vehicle here.

I saw a 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan listed for sale by Carbone and fell in love. I was looking to trade my 2016 Jeep Cherokee for something compact, but had to stick within my budget. I started working with Bridgette, who took down all my information then forwarded it along and then I worked for the remainder of the process with Nicholas and Zack for a bit and they really were amazing to work with. They were able to buy out my Jeep, sell the car I wanted for a price I could afford, all while being extremely courteous and professional. I drove 1 1/2 hours each way to the dealership to test drive the VW and take off of the lot with it as well. The drive was completely worth it. My 2019 sierra truck is still under manufacture warranty with a brake sensor warning indicator, service brake pad monitor, bulletin 19-NA-191 states brake pads to be replaced, truck has 24k miles, pads are not worn, and dealer tells me I have to pay for new rotors. totally unacceptable. Over $300 for a known defect!

A few months back I was driving and my windshield wipers stopped working so I called the service department. They said they were busy and couldnt get me in for another 4 days and I reminded them that this is a safety issue and I need to be able to see out of my windshield. So that afternoon I took my car in and it took 3 hours for them to look at it. They told me they couldnt do anything or find anything wrong and told me to take a video of proof that they were not working. (Not really sure what a video can do to help?)Since then my windshield wipers work on and off at randomly. Fast forward to this weekend-my windshield wipers completely stopped working of course while I was driving in the rain. I called at 3 pm on Friday and they said there was nothing they can do and that everyone left for the day. Its completely frustrating that they had no urge to fix this issue. I will not be leasing with Carbone ever again since my safety was not a priority.

I was traveling through Ny state over 250 miles from and and broke down on Rt 90. I called on local dealership Carbone GMC and spoke with service manager Joseph. I explained I was on a flat bed and if he could help. He said he was pretty jammed up with work but said with my circumstances come on in if its not a big repair Ill do best I can to help you. Well the repair I needed was bigger than even I thought and Joe helped me make a plan B. We were taken care of by a really nice, intelligence, professional young man named Rob. He was very patient with my husband and I who are not as proficient with newest technology. He was very friendly and personable and stayed focus on his customers needs.The dealership was nice and clean. It is convenient to our home. The parking lot is located on a road where it is easy to enter and exit.This is my 3rd car from them. (The Chrysler 300C, Escalade ESV and now my Acadia ESV) We even referred my Mom to them several years back when she bought her Cadillac. She was and is very happy with the brand that are available at this store.When the day comes when I need a new vehicle I will definitely go back there to buy it. So. I walked in and tested out a vehicle, loved it of coarse. Used vehicle. Sat down with the sales man, they offered to take my trade in for an x amount of money on paper and signed. When my loan person contacted me they stated they are only giving me x amount for my trade in which was HUGE difference then what they stated in front of our faces on paper! As soon as we walked out apparently they changed their mind without telling me ran it through my loan person and found out that way I was offered a lower amount than what was agreed upon in person. Be careful don’t always trust people. Thanks for the waste of time

Okay so at first I was afraid of buying car through a dealership because I heard all the crazy stories from people about how sharky car dealerships are. But I can attest that was NOT the case with my experience at all. No one tried to upsell me or add things to my receipt that were unnecessary. Mike was a very Attentive car salesman, who showed me that he was willing to assist me with my questions and be there for me every step of the way. Tim was also super amazing at explaining the financial aspects of my agreement in a way I could understand and also he gave me some amazing financial tips that I will most certainly follow. Overall I had a very good experience and would definitely recommend Carbone Buick. My best friend went with me to the pick up and he said when he is ready to buy a car he will totally start at Carbone Buick first. I love my car and I am very grateful that Carbone Buick treated me with respect and allowed me the opportunity to finance my first brand new vehicle even thought my credit is not stellar. I bought a 1 year old vehicle from the Carbone Buick dealership. Worst purchase of my life. Kyle lied to me in every conversation. They then listed the vehicle I traded in for 3X what they gave me for it when they told me that’s the best they could do because it was just going to auction. They didn’t clean the Encore or even give me the new wipers I was promised. It stunk like dog and took weeks to get this vehicle cleaned up. I’m in my 60’s so I want to warn others that these guys show you pics of their kids.... but lie to your face and do not care. Tim is the only one I have even the slightest respect for.

Just received my 2020 Buick Encore GX!!! This has been the BEST car buying experience I have ever had and handled the whole transaction virtually and online. It was extremely easy!! We finalized this deal in an hour and a half and my salesman Aaron did an amazing job. They delivered my new car right to my driveway, now this is door to door service at its best!! I would not recommend this dealership. It was disorganized from the start and I did not feel properly attended to. I purchased the vehicle on a Saturday and agreed that the vehicle would be ready for delivery to me on Monday afternoon. When I arrived to the dealership on Monday, absolutely nothing was in order or had been taken care of. What should have been a 20 minute process of signing papers resulted in 2 hours of waiting and watching disorganization and miscommunication unfold. My insurance company had not been contacted, my car had not been serviced yet, and none of the paperwork was printed or ready. My experience was so baffling and unprofessional. I even noticed on the Delivery board that I was the ONLY name on there for the week, and they still didnt have my sale ready. Lastly, I was told that my car would have 1/2 tank of gas when I left the dealership, and it had a quarter. Overall poor attention to detail and completely unsatisfactory customer service. I truly wish I had a better experience, but I will definitely not be returning.

Purchased a used truck from this dealership. During the process I tried contacting my salesman several times for information. He would not return calls nor emails. Called and requested speaking to the manager but secretary would not connect me instead routed may call to the salesman. Finally the sale went through. Now I have been contacting them concerning my loan information. Nothing. No returned emails, No returned phone calls. One of the most unprofessional buying experiences Ive ever had. Still waiting!!Had I known what i know now, I would never have contacted this agency.Update: Changed my rating from 1 to 4. Had several concerned people from Carbones call to rectify the problems that I had. I do appreciate this. It seems that there was some breakdown in the chain of communication at one specific point which was the cause for all this. They have rectified the problem and I appreciate it.

I had a service appointment scheduled for 8 am. The service department supposedly opens at 7am. I showed up for my appointment at 745, door were locked, lights off and no one to answer the phone. I called 5 times, walked up to the locked door knocked on it until a mechanic walked over to tell me he didn’t have keys to open the door. I was finally able to get into the building at 820 to inform anyone that I had been sitting in the parking lot for 35 minutes waiting for the service department to actually show up! Then I had the luxury of waiting for OVER 2 HOURS for routine maintenance and inspection! Then the service department was going to charge me for the services provided without even looking to see I have a maintenance package that was purchased with my vehicle!! Then tried to do me a favor by taking $25 off my bill! What Bill?!?!?!? I have a maintenance package!!!! I am a nurse and was late to work in a local emergency department because your employees can’t show up to work on time! I would never ever return to carbone for maintenance if it wasn’t included in my purchase of my vehicle which was sold to be under false pretenses as I was told I could go to any other GMC dealer and have my maintenance done without issue. Which apparently was also a lie. I am NOT impressed

Zero stars!! Do not recommend. I scheduled an appointment, drove an hour there to test drive a particular vehicle only to get there and be told there was a brake issue with the vehicle but I could still drive it if I really wanted to. I decided to give it a try since I drove an hour (and thought it couldnt be that bad if they would still allow it to be driven) it was horrible and completely unsafe. I didnt even take it out of the parking lot. It was a complete waste of time and by far the worst experience Ive had.

Waited 2 hours for an oil change and a update that I was told would only take a 1/2 hour. After a 2 hour wait, without being updated on the progress of my service, I observed my vehicle sitting outside of the service building. Upon checking with the service desk, I was told my vehicle was finished!!!! Never once being notified that the service was completed. Horrible customer service and horrible experience to say the least!!! Totally unacceptable IMO

Staff greeted me the moment i came in the show room. They had hand sanitizer, and mask available if you needed them. They still allow for you test drive the cars with out anyone in the car with you.

Bought a car last year and still dealing with paperwork, they never contact you when there is issues with the paperwork you always have to call them to find out what is going on. said our car came with a car starter and it turned out it didnt and they did absolutely nothing about it overall the worst experience me and my wife have ever had. the car also came with 2 different keys and one was programmed to another car do not recommend

Dont waste your time with these crooks! I agreed to terms on a used car with an invoice breaking down their advertised price and a couple of reasonable fees on top. Then they ran my credit for financing and everything was in process. Two days before delivery they tried packing the contract with $2k extra in fees for paint protection, rust prevention, and nitrogen tires, claiming they wouldnt make enough profit otherwise and that the work was already done. When they try to scam you too with this illegal racket I recommend reporting it to the NY State Division of Consumer Protection.

Run and run fast. This place is in chaos and has been for a year now. Management fired or quit on all ends of the place. Blown motor on new truck and had to fight with GM to get anything back. They STILL owe me $1300 for torching, yes torching my new plow frame off a new truck when asked to help me take care of that since the truck was junked under the lemon law (well, not quite, GM bought it back so someone probably got it). Had to fight with them for anything I got. And then had the nerve to ask me why I didnt buy there again! GOOD.....BYE.

Recently purchased a vehicle here. Not a satisfying experience. I felt like the salesman and business manager both seemed to shrug me off, and the transaction of buying the vehicle alone took over 2 hours when I was scheduled to pick it up that day. The business also didnt have a functioning fax machine allegedly, which seems odd. I also received the vehicle I purchased not AT ALL cleaned or detailed. So much animal hair, and pet smells were present.
