I was in Utica for a weekend and had some tire and alignment issues. Brad did a great job getting me back on the road and in a very timely manner. Trustworthy and did exactly what was needed.

I caught a flat about a block away from the shop.. I was lucky to have seen the shop and pulled in. I was greeted by the store manager who was very friendly and they offered me immediate service to repair the flat as they did not have my tire in stock. But I was able to purchase four new tires at a great price because they were on sale. I came in the next day for my tires and they got me in and out super quick and also offered a free courtesy inspection which made me aware of repairs needed that my personal shop never told me about. They got me in immediately again the next day for the repairs. I didnt realize how much more smoothly my vehicle could ride as I thought it was in tip top shape. I was thankful to have been next to a shop after my tire popped but I was even more thankful that I got lucky with a friendly atmosphere and good prices and great quality. Theyve definitely gained a new customer.

While traveling in from out of state I got a slow leak in a tire on my van. I didn’t make an appointment - just showed up hoping they could help me because they were close to my hotel. They got me in quickly, found a piece of wire in my tire right away, and plugged it for me. Made it home safely! Thanks so much to these guys for the excellent and speedy work!

The staff at the Genesee St, North Utica location were great to work with. They were friendly, upfront and effective. The cost and time to complete work were par for the course for a full brake service and tire installation today.

My truck was serviced on time, and quickly finished. Staff was friendly and the location was clean. And also located that I was able to walk to get a beverage.

Great service! Had to stop in Utica unexpectedly because of car problems. They were able to look at it right away and help get me back on the road.

Went in for a general check of my car and an alignment, was greeted rudely and talked over. Turns out they didnt actually align it and they knew about an underlying issue with my car that could have resulted in an accident. Called and complained, Im getting my money back. If I could give zero stars I would.

Went to Monroe to swap tires and get an inspection. Staff was courteous and professional. The manager Reuben informed me that that the tire machine was down and apologized but rescheduled me for next week. I was able to get my inspection done. I would have left 5 stars if Monroe would give their workers the proper equipment to get the job done. However the staff is obviously hard working and competent. I would recommend and will bring my business there in the future.

I pulled in with a flat tire on my dump trailer and these guys had me fixed up and going in Short order.... Just a real good group of guys working here.

Mark and his team gave me the most amazing service after my car lost a wheel on the interstate. Utica seemed like an abysmal place at 7 in the morning after a tow, but now will always have a special place in my heart because of the great people I met. These guys tried to move heaven and earth to get me where I needed to be, but when they couldn get me my parts same day, because hey thats life, they still saved me a lot of money finding me used parts and helped me out im more ways than I can express. Mark is a saint of a man with the heart of a bear. These people care. Give em your business. I got more than my car fixed, I met a friend for life.

Super impressed with the quality of work at this place. The manager explained the problems with my back brakes and I was up and out of there within 2 hours. The sitting room area could be a cleaner. Its dusty in there.

I was having problems with my brakes and brought my car to north utica monroe muffler. The manager Reuben and mechanic Jim fixed my problem. They did this in such a professional and timely manner. Went to bring my car for a tire swap like I usually do, took it in for a noon appointment, they told me they would call when the vehicle was ready, they called me back four hours later to tell me they can’t do it because the tire machine just broke. I went to pick it up, when I got there I spoke to the manager he tells me that they couldn’t do it because the tire machine broke earlier. So I told him when I spoke to his guy, the guy said it “just” broke. Even if it just broke or broke earlier my car was there for four hours. If it broke earlier they should have called me then so I could have taken my vehicle elsewhere. And if it just broke, why was my vehicle still in the same spot I dropped it off at instead of being worked on earlier. I lost a half a day of pay with work over an appointment I scheduled a week prior. The manager was very unprofessional when he told me there was nothing they could do, and didn’t try to help my situation. They need to bring the old management back. I will no longer be taking my vehicle there for service.

Ive always trusted this shop so when I had my heat shield become detached while I was driving I pulled in, and was met immediately by their representative in the parking lot. He could hear me coming and came out to greet me, and took my car into a stall immediately. You cant get better service than that. After removing the heat shield which turned out to be a little trickier than expected they refused to charge me for the fix. I have a big smile as I reflect on my experience today, because this shop delivered old fashioned service, and it is rare to have that kind of experience in 2020!

I dont know if Monro auto service understands the amazing employee they have in Reuben. He took care of me in a serious jam, and to be honest you dont get customer service like this often nowadays. He is a breathe of fresh air and the other staff was amazing also. But I really wanted to show my appreciation for Reuben because he is an amazing soul.

Nice employees, small clean waiting room for an automotive garage with a TV & plenty of magazines. They frequently mail you coupons for oil changes, brakes, alignment, etc. Once you are on their mailing list.

I Love a garage that will work with you and are honest and up front about prices and your options, even if those options dont include them doing the work. Those are few and far between and Monroe in North Utica is definitely one of them. Refreshing to have a garage prioritize helping you more than just making money off of you. I was surprised at a price, due to no fault of their own (actually due to the fault of another garage who was actually giving my car the wrong service for months, and they even took the time to figure this out for me and call them up and let them know about their mistake) and when I tell you they worked with me, THEY WORKED WITH ME. Well beyond fair and understanding. Highly recommend👍

I had the best experience here! I had new tires sent to this location from tire rack, I got in the same day they were delivered, and I was out in an hour. They were upfront about prices and answered any & all questions I had. Felt like I drove off in a brand new car. Will go here again!

Ive visited Monro Shop #106 on Genesee st (rt. 5) in Oneida a few times over the years. Ive always had good luck there. More recently, I got a flat tire in Oneida. I limped my car to the shop. The mechanic, Don explained I had dry rot on the sidewall of my tire and it needed to be replaced. He promised to get the best price available, and he did. Literally a half hour later, the new tire was mounted on the rim, balanced and put on my car. I really appreciate honest, fast and friendly service. Great Job shop #106, and especially Don! I was traveling on the Thruway and hit an object causing a wheel issue. I was able to get off at the Utica exit and stop in to get help. Tony and the technician were so helpful and friendly. I am grateful that they helped me out on a moments notice and were able to show me my issue with the wheel and change to the spare. Thanks to them I was able to still make my meeting that I was headed to. Great service!

Always a pleasant experience with this North Utica shop! I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation online the day before and they were able to approve my request quickly and work me into their schedule. The staff is polite, knowledgeable, and honest. There was a way to package my services cheaper than paying for everything separate and the owner explained my options but didn’t pressure me into them. Overall I did save some money though! The service was quick and my car is running so much smoother now! I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know.

These guys are the absolute best. When ever i need anything i take it here. Last time i was there my trailer broke down and even though they dont work on trailers normally they helped me get it back on the road and best thing about it they didnt even want any money from me. I was so happy to see Tony Magee back in this area. I know that if he is at the Monro I go to I am assured 5 Star service. My car got in on time. The maintenance performed expertly and and quickly. When they said I needed a new air filter they said I could get it and have it installed for $19 due to the oil change I just got. They checked their inventory and did not have an air filter for my vehicle their. Tony stepped right up, found where I could get an air filter and said if I went and picked that up they would install it at no extra charge. Monro always goes the extra mile for me. I will go back to them when my car needs service.

Evening to all: Ive taken a few days to think of & about my experience at our North Utica NY Munro Establishment Ill say the service rendered was superb for about two weeks if not longer after receiving my vehicle back from a world renowned well known car dealer there was an odor within the exterior of my vehicle whenever the heat was turned on this odor burned my eyes caused my chest & anyone else whom rode in the vehicle alongside me to feel the same. I stopped by my old mechanic to express my concerns apparently it was of no concern of his as he kept pushing the date ahead to examine my vehicle; I called Munro spoke with Tony explained my concern not only did he LISTEN he EXAMINED my vehicle & CORRECTED the issue. Thank you Tony for your excellent services rendered.

Employees really care about you and your car. They will let you know before they do something like check the trunk of your car. Really friendly people and would definitely be coming here more often to get my car serviced. Definitely also worth the 5/5

We were on a trip, a few hundred miles from home and the brakes began smoking. After cooling overnight, we drove the mile to this Monroe location. Tony the manager was fantastic! He showed us where both rear brakes were shot and said he could fix it up that day.....a Saturday no less. We were in the area for Herkimer gem & mineral show. So we wouldn’t have to wait around at the shop all day, Tony drive us to the show and picked us up when we were through. He saved our trip!! Thank you for service above and beyond just the repair of our car.

I called Monroe muffler in north Utica to get a quote on 4 tires I needed, after comparing prices they gave me the best . I made an appointment they got me in the same day, thank goodness cause we were getting a lot of snow the next day. My car was brought in on time, the service reps and manger were wonderful. I gave them a five star the place is clean and the staff are so personable, plus there prices you can not beat.

I received great service from manager Tony and service technician Abdul. I was having a problem with a leaking tire on a car I was renting. They close at 6:00 PM and took the car in at 5:30 on a Saturday. They quickly diagnosed the problem and informed me what needed to be done.They courteous and respectful even though it was closing time and they were cleaning up shop. I would recommend this Monroe shop.

I felt genuinely cared for when I pulled in just a few hours before their shop closed and they were willing to take my car in check it out. they figured out what was wrong they let me know what needed to be done to fix it and they are going above and beyond to do so I truly appreciate all that the manager of the shop has done for me.

This happened to me while tavelling on I-90 in New York state.Monroe Auto Service, Utica, NY is close to the Interstate and the staff made a special effort to fix my oil leak and get me back on the road.Knowledgeable mechanics and a friendly atmosphere.

Went to get the injectors done, but they screwed up the wires. Completely killed the car, which stopped in the middle of the road. So disappointed and upset, waste of money. Didnt even admit the mistake. I would not suggest going here.

I brought in my car for them to take a quick look at a small noise that was coming from the front. Thank god I did! So many things were wrong from my previous mechanic, my brake pads were a mess and not put in right! They helped me with getting home safely and looked at things that I wouldn’t even think of. They were very informative and helpful with explaining what was going on. They were so knowledgeable on what was wrong with my car, the things that were done to it were unacceptable and put my life at risk. Thankfully they found it all and put my car in better condition. They were so friendly and fast and got me out quick! I’m so glad I happened to stop in and they looked at all aspects of my car. They definitely made my stop worth it!
