After waiting for 4+ months for another vendor to deliver countertops, we decided it was time to ditch them - I mean seriously, they could never give us an ETA, we were just told to wait. We picked Mohawk Valley Granite because 1) they actually had a live person who responded quickly to all our calls (and no phone tree); 2) they were able to meet my ASAP time frame; 3) I was able to pick the stone slab from the lot, so I knew it was in stock and mine; 4) the craftspersons who did the template and install are experienced and care about their reputation; 5) they were in general helpful and responsive.I placed my order on 9/17 and the counters were installed on 10/15. The crew did a wonderful job and the counters look beautiful!! The big-box stores will entice you with their discounts, but in the end is it worth it? This is a small family owned company, so we really liked being able to support a local business.

Mohawk Valley Granite was AMAZING!!! From the showroom to install they were friendly, answered all our questions, and helped us make great decisions! They were communicative and prompt every step of the way! We are in love with our new counters and sink. Great work! Support small business!

It wont be installed until March but our experience choosing a countertop was excellent. The young man who helped us was very knowledgeable and when we asked for a sample to take with us, he came out with a beautiful large cutting board made instantly on premises. He made the most difficult part of our kitchen remodel one of the easiest.
