October 2021: floating hotel on the Nile. Its more affordable than a hotel on the Nile. Location is a little out of the way but not bad. Its directly on the river Nile. On a main artery road that it will take you to access points to anywhere in the city. Rooms are clean and everything is well taken care of. They are next to the platform which is group of restaurants and cafes on the Nile in line sitting so you have a variety of options to enjoy the sunset over than the roof to itself.

Its worth every penny for a short 1-3 day stay. But gets noisy at night with all the restaurants on the same property. But a great stay nonetheless and good staff. 👌

It is a 5 star hotel 🏨 the hotel is actually a boat in the Nile rever, but it is stable. The staff are very friendly. It is cozy and small but clean and tidy.I faced problems with the door, the key never works, so I have to call someone from the reception every time i want to enter my room! Also, the cheif in the restaurant keeps adding onions to my food every day although I keep telling them not to, a very frustrating issue 😑But it is affordable and safe. The location is great. You can walk for 2 minutes and you find amazing restaurants surrounding you. Also there is a dry clean, pharmacy, bank, ATM, and supermarket less than 10 minutes away from you. The location of the hotel is safe and not very crowded. If you reserve a room with view you will get to enjoy looking at the river every morning which i personally find it very peaceful ✌

There’s so much to write about this place but I will try to keep it simple. The view that I got wasn’t anywhere of what I was expecting as you can see in the attached picture. There was some miscommunication leading them to make me pay extra for another bed for the room and ended up getting into an argument with the owner. When I was there the owner asked me to remove the review and I did but now I am making an honest review. I reside in the USA but I come to Egypt for vacation. The last thing anyone would want while on vacation is having a place that you are staying in disrespect you. The owner of the place told me if I did not remove the reviews he was going to comment and post pictures of me and my family’s passports on the review. This is beyond the most disrespect I have ever experienced staying at a place. I had to get my lawyer involved. He did not even attempt to do anything to compensate or offer anything for the inconvenience and discomfort I felt. However Wael and Maha are beyond amazing people. If you read this review and decide to try this place out I would highly encourage you to ask for them to have any of your needs met. They kept checking in with me because I was upset but again the owner did not try to make me feel any better.Next the food is horrible and do not recommend paying extra for the food. I only tried the breakfast but it tasted old and as if they kept reusing old food to save money.I wish my stay could have been better to make me want to go again but out of every hotel I’ve ever stayed in this is the worst experience I’ve had.Also there was a blackout for about 5 minutes. I stayed for 2 nights but felt the most discomfort.Word of advice to the owner of this place. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you. Always take care of customers to have them continue to do business with you and recommend to friends and family. Don’t ever say anything that could jeopardize your business. This bad review could have been avoided if you would have offered anything as compensation to show that you understand my frustration and are sincere with the apology.

A beautiful and comfortable hotel, a real 5 *The staff is very professional and respect for sanitary rules.The breakfast (OCCIDENTAL / EGYPTIAN) is delicious, with real coffee, the staff is very attentive, very helpful, friendly and responds quickly.The view is magnificent, waking up at the edge of the Nile is pure moment of happiness, and sleeping there in the moonlight which illuminates the river, you have the stars in your eyes, the balcony with which each room is equipped, with a supplement for the view of the Nile, it so magic moment.The view from Cairo Sky Restaurant is sumptuous, you can enjoy the freshness of the nile in the heart of cairo.We will return with pleasure, we felt like on a cruise.

XXXXXXXX 1. DO NOT pay for any meal there, beyond breakfast. Both launch and dinner are bad and limited set menu for high price. All Boats in the same region offer open buffet at lower cost with the same night shows.2. DO NOT wait for using pool. Pool is shared with other hotel and club. The pool are very crowded for swimming classes all over the day. No place or time for hotel guests. (Look for attached picture) You should go outside hotel with bikini if you are going to the pool.3. Room is accepted for a boat. Bathroom ceiling is very low. If your are longer than 180 cm, you cannot take a shower.3. Staff of the upper restaurant Cairo sky were completely Unprofessional.SAVE YOUR MONEY and DONT GO there.

So much to talk about,*****Positive points:- The view from the river view room and the Cairo sky is quite nice.- The staff by the door outside were gentle and friendly- Nabeeh, the room service guy is nice, gentle and smart- Room A/C is great- Hotel entrance looks nice***** Fair points:- Room area was ok, although for a twin room, the beds are so close to each other.- The room was rather clean, but the mugs given weren’t cleaned (not paying any attention to how it looks).- Receptionists were not bad.*****Negative points:- Noisy, you hear the people in the next room and you hear any movement outside your room or above you on the upper floor, plus the songs from the Cairo Sky restaurant are too loud and noisy (for my stay it stopped around 10:30PM which is not super bad)- Electric sockets: no electric sockets near beds, you need to keep your mobile on the bench to charge it overnight.- Bathroom: ceiling is too low making your shower quite hard, but it’s not the only problem for your shower as water was cold, so if you like hot showers, you won’t find it here.- Cairo sky restaurant: Super expensive, low quality for the price, waiters are unprofessional.- Wifi: If you don’t have an Egyptian number with data bundle, you are screwed, wifi is not available in the rooms (at least this was mentioned on booking.com)- Airport shuttle: The service is mentioned to be available on booking.com while in the hotel I was told that they would order an uber for me, as if I can’t do so.

Very bad experience.They canceled my reservation on Nile view side without any notice or warning, and give it to foreign guests instead of me, then tried to convince me to accept port view instead of Nile view.The duty manager was very rude person, he gives me his back while talking, and left me with no options rather than leaving the place.Not recommended at all.

I ve booked online and reached there at time after online and phone call confirmation ..I was Surprised when i get there that the place they had canceled my reservation by them selfs and I had to search for another hotel for stayingit was a very bad experience at this hotel 🤬.

Please for all of you expecting something great, this hotel is scam.I saw pictures of a beautiful hotel on the Nile, rooms looking so comfortable, I was already dreaming of sleeping on the bed. The ambience was all I could dream of so I booked and took my camera for bespoke pictures.Behold I was heart broken when I got there.I was first welcomed by some scary looking men, I managed to get in and it was stack of bottled water I saw at the entrance, very unwelcoming.I stepped in to see a huge dirty looking dog sleeping with flies all around it and finally, the rooms were not well ventilated.I had to cancel my booking and headed elsewhere.Thank God I hadnt paid.

The room is tiny and the bathroom is even smaller but the water pressure is AMAZING. The 2 stars are for the nice staff. The breakfast buffet is not that great.

It is a comfortable place, rooms are a bit small but functional, personnel are quite attentive and food in restaurants is very good, options for breakfast are reasonably wide and good. Shows are good in the restaurant at the top of the boat and belly-dancers are good and cute; the view of the Nile river is very nice. In general is a good option for it is not expensive.

Nile View is located in a very prime location in Zamalek. However, the list of good things ends there for the property. I had booked a triple room with the property but we were cramped in a double room with an extra bed. The extra bed was found to be broken which was replaced by the property promptly, however, the replacement bed was also not a recommended surface for sleeping. In short, the rooms are small even for double occupancy and can give one a feeling of claustrophobia. Breakfast was good, service is good, staff is courteous. Overall, I found the arrangement a bit overpriced for what they have to offer in terms of room size.

Where do I begin? The rooms were awesome! They managed to get us a nile view even though we mistakenly booked a harbor view. The service was impeccable, the food was great, 24 hour room service, next day laundry service, and they even had a doctor come to our room and arrange for pharmacy delivery. When we returned during the second leg of our trip we were greeted by name by everyone from the front desk to the chef! I couldnt have asked for more :)

After a rough couple of days trekking in the desert, my husband and I needed an oasis to regain our bearings and decompress before heading down to the deeper desert to trek some more. The manager, Reham, was so incredible at doing her job and going above and beyond to provide that oasis for us! Would definitely recommend if you want a quieter place on the Nile in the midst of the chaos of Cairo, but dont want to spend too much $$ doing so! The room service was fantastic, the breakfast buffet was outstanding, and from the housekeeping on up through the rest of the chain, everyone was so warm, friendly, and accommodating to our various needs. Love this hotel!

Its a good attempt to have dinner, party, or some relaxation and entertainment on a boat and possibly lodge there. But, dont expect a wow experience, the boat isnt moving. You will feel same way you feel in any restaurant or lounge or hotel. For a tourist, you should check this up...

What can I say about this other than it was a great experience for me & my two kids for visiting Egypt. The Staff was great, from the first moment we arrived, breakfast, help with directions, friendly service, everything. People like in the Nile View Hotel is why we would come back to Egypt 🇪🇬.Thank you George (Manager) & your staff, for your outstanding hospitality...

Overcrowding and not the best quality of food

This is one of the Nile cruise ships that used to sail up and down the Nile visiting temples etc. Its been turned into an hotel now and we were lucky enough to have a suite on the Nile side. This means we had a seating area as well as a bedroom. TV didnt want to work but it didnt matter as views made up for this. There was a belly dancer the 2 nights we were there and if you didnt want to eat on board you could go along to the nearby Sofitel hotel for a meal. If you like sampling local food then eat on board where the portions were more than ample. No lifts and lots of stairs but they were mostly wide. I walk with a stick and managed quite well.

One of the worst places ever and I am responsible for every word I write here.I cant wait to write this words on my honeymoon to inform people that not to go places like that.. I did my wedding outing there and they made the night very awful..They are beginners cant manage the place and numbers . They have awful DJ awful managers dont be deceived by their prices and they will leave you inside the problem and disappeared. Again this place is not more than a something to see and neglect

This floating hotel is located in a great area in Zamalek with awesome view over the river nile, it is ok for quick few nights stay with limited activities to have during the stay. Apparently enjoying the stunning view of the nile with some relaxing drinks and the fresh air around is the best thing to consider during your stay. Considering to spend sometime during the night at the upper deck Sky Lounge is also good option to think about. There is no dedicated parking area for this hotel, yet you will always find some people to help with affordable minor fees.

This place has an amazing position. You open the window and you see the river in front of you! The staff was amazing, very kind, veeery helpful. We arranged a pick up from the airport and Osama was there to help us with everything and introduced us Adam that finally took care of us the next day. We had a full day with him and everything was amazing. I put 4 stars instead of 5 just because it is unfair to say it is the best hotel I ever been. The cleaner forgot to make our room which is not the end of the world of course. Breasfast, not bad not great. I can say it is value for money. Thank you all.

The location is great, the staff is very polite and helpful, the food is very good and affordable. The sun deck is very nice and the shows at night are very entertaining. The beds in the rooms are very comfortable. It was a pleasant stay and I would definitely go back.

The Nike view was like a sanctuary in a bustling sometimes intimidating Cairo. There was always a fantastic veiw accompanied by a cool breeze. Our breakfast chef Ahmed Zayan was so friendly and helpful going to great lengths to get soya milk for me. I would recommend this place and come here again if we came to.Cairo
