Maaco is a good value paint job.If youre restoring a vintage beauty, this is not the place for you. Keeping that in mind, I was getting a paint job on a 14 year old 4x4 pickup with a mismatched camper shell. I have no complaints, but I expected some drips here and there. I wasnt let down. I had to bring the truck back a couple times, once for a longer hair in the paint and some missed spots on the camper. The owner, Vince, was happy to redo the door (and front quarter panel) to fix the hair and the camper got touch up paint applied.I highly recommend calling ahead when youre expecting to pick up your vehicle. If its not ready, they wont call you, which can lead to some major inconvenience and it wasnt ready on time for either the initial pick up time or the fix pick up time.All in all, I was happy for the job I got for the price I paid and I would recommend Vacaville Maaco for someone looking for a paint job on an older but not classic vehicle.

Went there to get my car painted. They were so honest and told me that it was a paint defective and I should take it back to the dealership. So I did. After a few weeks they agreed to cover it. I just wanted to say thank you for being so honest and up front. Will definitely return with any of my car paint issues.

We had our small RV done there a few years ago for over $5k. I was reluctant to do a review as they were so nice. But the more I look at the paint job, the more I wish I had gone some place else. There were a number of birds eyes, poor paint coverage, no caulking removed, they just painted right over everything, including rubber sealing. But the worst was the pin striping. Look at the photos below.2019-05-20 in answer to the response to my email below I have emailed the company and asked if they would be willing to redo the pin striping. So far its been a month and Ive gotten no reply. Again, they are very nice people and I dont wish them ill will, but they really need to work on quality control.

Took my 62 Chevy truck for paint, Vince was very helpful and gave me a great price and his employees did an outstanding job, truck looks great. I would also like to give Bill a shoutout for all he did to help me out with any problems that were found Bill is an outstanding employee, also the guys in the detail department went above and beyond to make things right. I am happy and would recommend Maaco in Vacaville to anyone and I would go there again for work and paint.

My vehicle had a terrible fire started by one of my headlights. I was in the drive thru picking up food and smoke started to flow from beneath the hood. The cooks rushed to come outside with fire extinguishers to put the flames out. It was not a fun experience. Luckily, the vehicle was salvageable, but needed major cosmetic work. Vince and his team went above and beyond to provide 5 Star customer service. After removing the melted bumper, he was able to find more damage and took care of it all. We are so happy to have our vehicle back! Our vehicle looks better than new. She answered all my concerns and then when I couldnt keep my appt she went above & beyond to help me get my car to their shop. The bottom cost was great and I got to meet a couple of new friends that I cant wait to connect them with my friends

After seeing my brothers truck and what a great job they did....and it was beautiful. My brother said take it to Maaco in Vacaville. A plus that it was locally owned. We decided to take my Fiat to have sun damaged roof and hood painted. We took it in on a Wednesday and they called on Monday. We went to pick it up and noticed the two side strips on roof had not been done. Evidently even though they are on the roof they are not part of roof. OK, well maybe we should have been more specific. We agreed on additional cost and left the car. We went back two days later to pick up. Oh my, there were two new dents on roof sides, a long scratch on rear right passenger door, rubs and scratches on both sides of roof. My husband was told they were previously there. No, they werent!!I have had my Fiat brand new from day one. It has been hand washed, dried and waxed from the beginning. I know all the dings (one near passenger side above wheel one on drivers side door and a few normal wear rubs and marks under door handles). I am so disappointed and upset about the lack of concern or pride in their work. The experience is frustrating and we will not recommend this company. After reading the reviews, seeing my brothers truck and how wonderful it looked and then to see my car we can only conclude that depending on the day or who does the job you are taking your chances. Again very disappointed.

First of all, forget everything you’ve ever heard about Maaco. My car was swiped from a hit and run, and I never thought it would be the same afterwards. Unfortunately my insurance didn’t cover any of my vehicles damages, and I was stuck to pay out of pocket for EVERYTHING. So being on a budget, I took my car here for MAJOR body work and a new paint job, and I honestly didn’t expect anything special at first. But when everything was said and done, I couldn’t believe how my car looked. The love that was shown to my car was above and beyond! The work that was done was immaculate. These people really do care. It’s not just another car job for them. Norma was such a huge help and made my experience the best it can be! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to have bodywork or a new paint job done to their vehicles!

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I personally feel like it was a lazy job done on the vehicle and would never recommend any one to get there car painted at this maaco. They don’t care to make the customer happy at all. Never would I pay my hard earned money here.

Vince and the crew were really friendly and helpful. I hate to say anything bad but the worksmanship they did on my car was sub-par in a few ways, especially for $1700. I had to return the car to get re-work done on the hood and headlight area and even after the re-work there were still sanding marks. I chose not to return it for more re-work because I already went without my car for another week. Theres sanding marks on my back trunk where they did bodywork to fix a dent. There is also smudges in the paint on the fender that are quite noticeable. I decided not to take it back for more re-work and just live with it. Like I said, I hate to bad mouth anyone because they are real nice people there but the work was definitely not worth the $1700 I paid. If you take your vehicle to them, just look over the final product with a fine tooth comb and speak up. They are ok with fixing stuff I just couldnt go another week without my car and its too late to take it back now. Sorry Vince about this review.

When I read the reviews I was veryhesitant to go there but I was sowrong. My brand new NissanPathfinder had several deepscratches onit. Who wants scratches on yourbrand new car. Vacaville Maaco consistently provides professional quality service at a reasonable rate by staff of high integrity.

If youre looking to get your paint done here, be cautious because they dont tape off the edges well, so paint gets on your trim and your wheels. Yes, their rate is cheap, but you get what you pay for. Even though they painted the car alright, a lot of parts on my car are either broken or missing. Screw caps gone, ripped trims, missing bolts... etc. They even left a screw driver in my engine bay and cracked my windshield without even mentioning it. Dont go here unless you want your car to have random missing parts.

Check my review on yelp. This place charged me extra for work that was never done. The paint came out very blotchy cause by spraying over the existing white primer which wouldnt be a problem if the color I chose was white. The color I picked was a classic green so in the sun you could really see the primer coming through the greenExtremely embarrassing When I brought it back they told me that they were going to take care of the problems. Went to pick up a couple weeks later and still looks the same. To top it off they put burn marks on my fender from the buffing machine. When I pointed out the problems to the manager Norma, she just looked at me like a deer looking into headlights completely speechless. Ive been nothing short of kind respectful and patient with everyone here throughout the entire process but at this point I was done with this place. Bad news is i gotta get my classic car repainted and just flushed almost $5,000 down the toilet, good news is its getting painted at a high end shop. Boy did I learn my lesson at maaco of Vacaville.

Tried to get some help with getting my car front bumper fixed. I did not know where to located my paint code for my car. The recepiontist did not want to find someone whou could help me, she sounded like she really did not like her job. I would go somewhere else.

Dont go there you pay for 1st stage paint to look decent n they over spray your window n glasses tires n rim smh thats more work it may just be the person who painted the car cause there lame low paying j.o.b but get your j.o.b done right !
