A wonderful place for used books but also caters to local authors and younger readers too. Mostly paperbacks but all seemed in excellent condition.Will definitely return!

Secondhand bookstores are a treasure and this store is no exception. Mysteries, cookbooks, self-help, take your pick because this store has it all. You can even special order if (not likely) the book you want isnt there. The clerks are nice and this is a literary diamond in the tough.

Very Friendly to its African American Customers, greet them with respect, and make them feel Welcomed. Most places in downtown Vacaville if you are Black or African American they will look at you like you dont belong or that you are out of place due to their not feeling comfortable. Thanks Bounty Books, bought a few Fashion Reference Books from you while in Fashion School some years back and recently visited you February 2021 and observed your interactions with your customers.

So thankful to have this little used bookstore in town. In the age of Amazon when independent bookstores are becoming relics its nice to still have a place where I can smell that wonderful smell of used books.We brought our kids here many a time when they were young ones after enjoying dinner next door. I like this place. Its quiet, and I was able to find a couple books that I had previously borrowed from the local libraries and wanted to buy. Found it a little patronizing that the lady assumed I wanted books in spanish just because I asked for foreign language books, but its no big deal. Im there for their wide selection of good reads, not to make friends. Still looking for a good textbook to refresh my French and pick up another language while Im at it.

Great bargain bookstore with thousands of books. Awesome trade in program. This place is a jewel I can get lost for hours in the store. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Bounty Books has only gotten better over the years. Small but very well stocked and organized. Mostly used books but some new available. Staff are consistently friendly and helpful. If looking for a specific title that isnt in stock, theyll offer to order or place your name on a wishlist (youll get a call in the event they get a copy). Highly recommend bringing in your unwanted books for trade credit (can be applied to half the price of a used book). Books brought in for trade credit arent usually processed same day but I like to drop them off in a paper bag with my name and number clearly written on the outside. If youre in the area and looking for new reading material check this place out! Journey Coffee Co and Donut Queen also conveniently located down the street for anyone that likes to read with coffee.

As a small used bookstore its ok .. but Im not sure if I had the right expectation going into this shop as the person who recommended them put them on the same level as Half Priced Books... Which it is not. Lol. While the books are cheap and separated by genre, I didnt like the layout as it wasnt intuitive and didnt seem to have any real rhyme or reason to why certain genres were next to each other. The place seemed cramped and cluttered more then it needed to be, which made finding certain books next to impossible and left me feeling overwhelmed. If they scaled down genres, made the layout more intuitive and were a bit more picky on what they put on their shelves (how many trashy romances do they really sell?) I definitely think they could make the place more inviting and would be able to live up more to the hype of the friend who recommended them to me in the first place.
