Came in for a reservation but employee behind the counter didn’t want to be bugged while he counted boxes. Good customer service doesn’t exist here. If you got time to waist, this is the place for you.

Called to make sure they had some propane and that someone was qualified to fill it, they said yes come on over. So I dove 25 mins and when I showed up the propane filling station was out of service 🤬😡Why not just tell me that on the phone and save me some time ?

There customer service is really outstanding! I would like to personally recognize Christian for his assurance and efforts. He definitely went above and beyond establishing effective communication, professionalism, and service. he had helped me searched for a valuable item I had accidentally dropped inside the donation box. He was able to recover the item, which was amazing. Thank you Christian!

Excellent service, we rented a truck and a storage unit and they were very accommodating. There are carts to borrow to move storage and a large elevator to the second floor.

Called and made a reservation several days ahead of time. They called 60 minutes before my appointment to pick up the truck and cancelled saying they didnt have any trucks. Terrible customer service and made a stressful move much more difficult.

We went online and entered our vehicle details and selected our service and parts needed. We made the appointment and prepaid online to have a trailer hitch installed on our Honda Element. My husband drove 30 minutes to the appointment and dropped the car off and went for a walk. They call him to tell him they dint have the part...sorry. So I was refunded. But not for the wasted time and gas and poor service. If you offer a service and run a business it’s pretty basic to only book for the parts and services you can offer and call immediately if there’s a problem. They didn’t offer a future appointment or to order the part. Just a sorry we didn’t have it. Poor service and bad business. We needed it to pull a trailer and could have booked elsewhere and saved all the hassle. Bummer.

I wouldn’t recommend U-Haul to anyone, anywhere. For the second time, after reserving a truck a month in advance, I received a call moments before commencing my move telling me that no trucks were available. The staff is generally unwilling to proactively assist in locating another vehicle. Luckily with our own legwork and the assistance of one kind employee at that location, we were ultimately able to find a truck. But in both cases this added an exceptional level of stress to an already stressful experience. I would sooner carry my moving goods box by box than using uhaul again.

I called to inquire about availability of boxes, and waited 24 minutes for one of their customer service reps to pick up. Couldnt take the waiting anymore, and hung up. Thats just ridiculous!

Jenny and Jordan are absolutely amazing. I’ve never been excited to go to a storage facility EVER. She immediately called when I made a reservation online with the warmest, most chipper voice. She really cares about the property and her ownership of it shows through. The tour was helpful and all kinds of tips to make it easier moving in. Talk about a stress reliever.

Staff are rude, unprofessional.I scheduled to install a hitch 11/28/21, they said dont the part. 12/26/20, they told me they could not find the part. Dont trust them, very irresponsible.

Great, quick service!I called in, asked about a truck to move sofa and love seat. They didnt try to sell me something I didnt need. Checking out and returning took a total of less than 3 minutes. Awesome Ford truck. Great service. Will definitely use them again. Convenient access to highway too.

HORRIBLE!!! THEY CANCELED ON US DAY OF NO APOLOGIZES. Do not book with them! We are now Extremely inconvenienced. And the RUDE front desk lady could give a beep less! We show up to pick up our reservation and they canceled it on us. Now what?! House packed babysitter scheduled carpet cleaner coming and no truck. UNACCEPTABLE

This U-Haul installed a trailer hitch on my vehicle and did an excellent job. The price was quite reasonable and the people were friendly. They provided a good product for what I thought was a definitely fair price. If I have any future needs for U-Haul I will most definitely go back to this facility.

Great place, they were busy when I went in, but Anthony took great care of me and got my cars wiring fixed so I can tow a trailer for a very reasonable price and he did it very quickly. Major props!

We have used this UHaul many time and always go back there even if it is the furthest away. Everyone there is very friendly and very helpful. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

I used U-boxes for my move and I had a number of problems with the overall experience:CONS:1) Some difficulty trying to speak with someone at the location office, kept getting redirected to a phone center, was told multiple times that I would receive a call back but never did. The only way I ever got a hold of someone was by calling back over and over again.2) I specifically stated when I made my reservation that I needed a weight ticket done for reimbursement from my employer for the move. While the goods were weighed by some unspecified method, no weight ticket was furnished, so once I caught this prior to delivery, I had to do the self-delivery option in order to personally do the weights at a local truck scale, drop off each box and unpack them individually, which cost me a significant amount of time with all the driving back and forth to the U-haul store. It could have cost me much more had I not checked for this prior to delivery, because without my weight ticket I would not have been able to be reimbursed for the move.3) When I informed the office manager at the destination office of this mistake, he stated that I would receive a call from the representative from the location where I made the initial reservation, so they could respond to my complaint. I was never contacted.4) This service took longer and was more expensive than other options I looked into. The only reason I was forced to use this service over the others was the lack of equipment availability for the other services on such short notice.5) I do wish there had been some way for me to predict when the shipment would arrive. I kept calling while it was en route and the representatives could never specify the location of my U-boxes and they were always confused about what day they were shipped and when they would be expected to arrive, making it difficult for me to plan when to be available.I will highlight the pros, though:1) The worker who dropped off my empty U-boxes and picked them up once they were packed was very punctual, pleasant, accomodating of my schedule changes and extremely skilled at maneuvering it into an awkward space that made it easy for me to load them.2) I felt that all the representatives both on the phone and in person were very attentive, pleasant and as helpful as they could be, given the limitations of their system. They were very patient in explaining all the details of the service throughout the entire process.Because everything worked out in the end, I will not say that the service was poor, but I would advise anyone using this service to look into other professional moving services first. Also, if you need a weight ticket, make sure the representative who coordinates the reservation understands what exactly you require.

Reserved Uhaul, more than a week prior to pickup, did the pre check in, show up and they dont have the truck I need or anything close. They transfer my reservation to another Uhaul, and tell me I can get it there after confirming. I go to the other place, that place as well does not have the truck size. So much for my moving schedule and all those I got to help me. Terrible service.

Cheaper with better equipment and vehicles than any other self moving truck rentals in the Vacaville/Fairfield Area. Very flexible and helpful. I personally recommend all local military members doing a DITY to use this location, especially for separations. Stuck waiting for an advance? They understand and will hold your reservation and push it out as need be to help you get what you need. Dont waste your time calling the 1800 center or online, go directly to this location in person for the best results.

Id give them 5 stars but the sales people were rude. I needed a storage unit and found uhaul had the best deal in town. The units were clean, secure, and managed properly but as I sad the sales people were rude! One example I asked the sizes of the storage units. They told me two prices for the one I wanted. When I said I didnt need the high ceiling the woman seemed to get angry and said I dont think you understand... In the most condescending way imaginable. When I explained that I was just storing a futon, a fish tank and a few other items she tried to talk over me until she actually scolded me and said let me speak! She was so upset when I let her go on and on then still said No, I dont need that.

Truck was, clean,fueled up n ready to go..air conditioning worked great..I will continue to do business with this establishment..however, the desk person, (only 1 desk person), was quite overwhelmed by the amount of people waiting in line..

My friend has 24 hour access. Its climate controlled. They have free carts to haul your thngs.

I have two storage units there and recently moved and used uhaul for my moving supplies, truck and. For advice. I never had a problem getting a truck or keeping it longer than originally rented. All I had to do was call and let them know. Because my move took.way longer than expected I had to rent trucks numerous times. The entire staff was helpful, supportive and more than accommodating. Never were they rude. They get extremely busy. So if your impatient, rude or pushy or if you do what o witnessed numerous times, say you rented a truck but really diidnt, then ya like anyone in customer service Im sure a rep may have got annoyed. Never do I believe they yelled or tried to talk over You. None of the staff At the Monte Vista store especially the manager Desirre is like that. Im not related to anyone who works there or friends with anyone. Im just a new customer extremely happy with their product and service. Keep doing what your doing. You do a Great job guys!

I reserved online and pick up wouldve been 10 mins but it was 20 mins because they found a faulty plug and let me borrow theirs to get me on my way and drop off was less than 5 mins

Everytime I call the Vacaville, ca location on East monte Vista they can never find my unit and this guy Mike always asks for another last name to search by but we only used our last name and he doesnt even offer to help..he always makes us call tech services. There moto is they will treat my stuff like theirs lol right ..Im sure!!!

I had a problem with uhaul at a different site. Unfortunately this could not be resolved. Though I wont be using uhaul again, this site was helpful, & actually listened to my complaint. If you must use uhaul, this is a site to go to.

After reading mixed reviews, and hearing stories of people getting ripped off at this location, I rented a pickup and car trailer to tow my broken down car, in hopes of getting it to my house for cheaper than a tow truck. When I got the truck, it was relatively dirty, so I was afraid theyd pin a cleaning charge on me. Upon return, no charges were added, and the guaranteed price was what I paid. Still wasnt cheap per se, but it was a good bit less than a tow truck wouldve been

I went into the store to reserve a 20 foot truck two weeks in advance only to get a call 2 days before I need to move saying the truck I reserved is unavailable without explanation and I need to try to fit everything into a smaller truck. Very unsatisfied that they could not get me the truck I need and reserved.

If you want to talk to a person at the store..... Drive to the store to do it! If you call, you get the call center who has NO clue whats going on!!!

Worst storage ever!!! Im paying for after hrs access and cant get into my unit after 7pm. I Contacted Mgmt and they keep saying they are having issues with alarm system. This has been going on for over a month..

Reserved a 10x5 room on the phone. Drove two hours to get here that same day and made lots of plans based on that reservation. Arrived and the woman at the desk was very rude, and told me they didnt even have my reservation available, and they were booked out. What a waste of time all around.

I called to schedule an appointment to install the wiring for my tow hitch. The call center double booked me the first time so I had to reschedule my appointment. I took my afternoon off work to take my car in because they didnt have any weekend appointments. I showed up early to my second appointment to find out that I had been double booked again and they could not see my that day and that the next available appointment would be for another week.
