Always a pleasure dealing with Sherwin-Williams.. I had a chance to visit at the Vadnais Heights outlet.. and have to say ALLEY.. was absolutely great... very helpful and professional ... very knowledgeable to say the least... just a great experience.. and would absolutely go there again.

They color match with a computer now. When I was a kid we had to match colors by hand. These little whippersnappers don’t know how good they have it now. Color was good, paint was good, still happy with it. But I can complain in a positive review if I want.

Clean store, good customer service but extremely overpriced. Ive trialed about 4 or 5 different paint brands ranging from Behr, Benjamin Moore, Valspar, Sherwin Williams & Dutch Boy. When I requested my paint I asked for it to be more of a glossy finish. They helped me pick out the finish and after painting it on 11 walls of my home I dont notice any gloss or sheen which really disappointed me. Though they were able to match my chosen color I still plan on repainting due to there being no gloss or sheen. I will definitely be going with Behr paint from Home Depot my next go around as it is about 1/3 the cost and Home Depot is able to provide me with a gloss finish that I very much want. The price of Sherwin Williams definitely does not suffice the quality as I notice little to no difference in quality. Paint splatter when rolling on the walls & small tiny little clumps seem to be consistent in all brands of paint and SW doesnt seem to be of any higher quality. If SW decreased their prices by 50% Id definitely buy from them again. But otherwise, just not worth it. And no, Im not a cheap person at all. I just felt this was worth providing a review on after staring at my walls every day for the past 2 months.

I was trying to touch up some exterior areas around my house. I had the original sherwin williams paint can but I suspected it had faded. I took color samples from the store and picked the closest match. I bought a gallon and tried it but it wasnt close. I brought the gallon back to customize it to a closer match. I then painted the side of my house coming up a quart short. I took back the can I had purchased and color revised (having been assured that the color formula was properly noted when we customized it and asked for another quart. The employee wouldnt even look at the can despite me asking her to at least look at it. She said Due to corona I cant take the can into the store to match it. But I assure you I can read the color formula from our records. I asked Are you sure it will be the same?. Absolutely. I used the quart to finish the job, now 27 feet up on a ladder balancing on a side hill and tilted just waiting to fall. The match wasnt even close. I looked at the quart can and she had given me satin, not flat as the original gallon was and the color match was bad. I took both empty cans back asking for help. I was told they would no longer help me. If I had any complaints talk to the, manager. Really nice service there folks. Wouldnt even fix the mistake they acknowledged making. What horrible people! Good service. More expensive than Menards but they were able to match the paint the swatch I brought in.
