A warm experience filled with lightsI recently purchased a second home in South Georgia and had it renovated. I live in Atlanta and had been told that the lighting stores were limited in the Valdosta area. I purchased tile from a neighboring, tile store and from there, I discovered this store (Lighting Concepts). First of all, the invite was welcoming when I walked in and no rushing was allowed. :-) The ladies in the design center allowed me to look around and gather my thoughts on the selections, options and etc. I was in disbelief that it felt like I was about to get every light fixture I needed for my second home. Indeed, it began to manifest. I soon noticed that I had been in the store over an hour and an half, and I had thirty minutes to get all the ceiling fans I needed. Yes, they had a wonderful selection of ceiling fans. I work as a GM in hospitality and I can share that the customer service was rewarding. Just a nice group of people who allowed me to have a wonderful experience. I called my family to meet me there. They walked in and purchased within ten minutes. Very happy I discovered this place. The options were countless! I appreciate the experience and more importantly, the kindness and empathy in aiding me in getting what I needed.

My experience with Lighting Concepts was terrible. Somehow selecting lighting became the most difficult part of our home build. The store was told to match the lighting budget of a recent build. It took several weeks for them to figure it out so the builder gave us a ball park budget. They finished the budget several weeks later and it was about a $1K difference. Prices kept changing on their end. They sent us the final order with the initial budget completely disregarding their own numbers. After explaining the details of what happened they maintained their position so we are going elsewhere. We did better on Wayfair and Home Depot.
