Horrible experience the worst ever please dont use this company especially concrete truck, the driver doesnt know how to operate the power control i had to stop like 3 time to clean the driveway myself, lack of experience and they overcharged me with 60 min 120 dollars because of him, office management very rude treating me to put a lin on my property if I dont pay, please DONT USE them, find another better one the worst ever

The purpose of this review is to let potential customers know of the quality service I have experienced at Crown Hill Materials in Vallejo. I had been wanting for a while to do some paving in my backyard. The customer service from the members of this team was outstanding compared to others in the area. I had price checked for months and found their service to be above average in acknowledging customers and their quality of service. I felt they offered all possible options and were very patient when providing the pricing and offered more affordable options. Thank you to the Crown Hill Materials crew, I wish I can name them all but I did not have not one bad experience. Thank you ALL!!!

Crown Hill in Vallejo has been the best! Not to be confused with the other crownhill from Napa. Gus and Fritz have been very knowledgeable and friendly and have made my orders very seamless and easy for my backyard project. I definitely recommend!

Love the staff, really informative, respectable, and kind. My first project was a small one. So I spent $200 or so on my backyard, but they took the time and gave me their professional opinion on the material to use. I was so satisfied with the results, I gave them the dimensions of my whole backyard and they completely remodeled it. Gave me a lot of ideas, and a lot of them I went with. 2018 I sold my home built in 2008 and purchased a fixer upper built in 1938, the front of the house needed some TLC and thanks to the guys at Crown hill materials I was able to bring some life back to it. I just like to say this is not the first time Ive purchased materials from them and it wont be the last.

The people appear to be helpful but what I ended up with is a nightmare. I went to look at flagstone pavers several times and I have studied on what I needed for my project. I asked questions etc... as we do when we think who we are speaking of knows more than we do. I wanted to do flagstones from my patio to my garage and include an area to locate my garbage cans and also a place to move my outdoor grill to. I chose the stone color and thickness at 1.5 inches. I was told that I needed 2 inch plus thick stone because I would once a week pull my garbage cans over the stone. I am female and single. I never went to the location with anyone and they did not ask if I was doing the project or someone else. I ordered one ton which was the amount for my area. The stone that was delivered is so thick and heavy that I had to buy a grinder to cut down to size. I am very fit and one stone took me 1.5 hours to cut. I have injured my foot because the stone fell on it. 4 days since my delivery and I have 50% of the stone still in my driveway to cut. Crown Hill did not offer to cut this stone or ask ANY QUESTIONS about my project and how to get the stone to a size under 25 pounds per stone. Very irresponsible on their part. They also told me I could watch instructions on YouTube which told me basically to hammer on a tool that would immediately cause the stone to break. Seriously, this stone is 80 to 100 pounds each. The YouTube example had no more than 1 inch thick stone. I am very unhappy with the customer service and guidance I received. Still working on the project so the quality of the stone is still in question.

Good prices good services and its faster

Number 1-Their prices for rock are much higher than the landscape place right next to Mid-City Nursery.Number 2-Their delivery prices are more than double the price of the landscape place by Mid-City Nursery.Number 3- Their costomer service is rude, and once you pay they disregard any concerns you have.I asked the driver very polietly to wait while I shut the garage door. He obliged and asked me to sign the paperwork so I did. As I was walking away from the truck to go close my garage he starting dumping all of the rock in my driveway, almost on me!By the time I made it in to close the garage a giant dust cloud came into my garage and went all over EVERYTHING, including my freshly cleaned laundry. The driver then took off.I called and talked with a Lady, whos name I wont publicly use. She drug me through the mud with this entire senario and didnt make anything right. She kept saying I would get a credit and I never did. She kept saying she would call me back, and I had to keep calling time and time again to get a hold of her.After a few weeks of trying to get the credit she promised me I gave up because her story then changed and she was taking the drivers side. I asked her if a supervisor could please come over to my house and take a look at the dust covered garage. She agreed and said someone would be there and never showed up.This company does poor business. Take yours elsewhere to a company that deserves it. Broadway Landscape next to Mid City nursery is very nice and polite. Their prices are reasonable and so is there delivery charge. I have ordered from them before and I wish I didnt venture out to crown hill, but I did.

They short me on concrete and when I brought it up they blew me off. They dont have a accurate way of measuring, they guess and use a timer

All my top soil was full of broken glass ! When i advised the people inside they walked with me out to look and ....yes its full of broken glass they offered no refund or discountCorrect me if I’m wrong but top soil is for planting grass and kids and pets to play on ?
