Andrew the Pharmacist is really awesome, very pleasant guy & knowledgeable. His COVID vaccine technique is very good. He did my entire Family vaccination. Very pleased. 🙏

This Walgreens is the actual worst. Everytime I try to order pictures for pick up I encounter a problem. I ordered ONE 4x6 photo. Got an email saying it was ready (twice) go in today on MY LUNCH BREAK for the cashier to tell me it wasnt ready. I said I got an email .. twice. She said yea we don’t have any paper currently, it’s going to be like that. Be like what? I don’t understand. Why would I get an email twice if it actually was never even printed. You gotta do better Walgreens. You gotta do better.

This is hands down the worst pharmacy in NY. Teresa claimed to be a Pharmacist (and she is unprofessional and extremely rude). My dads medication was ready for pick up and she made me wait 45 min and then they denied me. My dad also went to the store to speak to Teresa and she didn’t even want to talk to him. Where does Walgreen hire these people from?. I ADVISE EVERYONE TO PLEASE SWITCH AND GO TO A DIFFERENT PHARMACY OR LOCATION. Plus teresa should be fired, She has no customer service skills and works to collect a check rather then care about customers. WALGREENS PLEASE DO BETTER!! Time to switch too CVS.

The pharmacy close so early and no open in Sunday...what about emergency medicine?..

The store is clean and well organized. Location is convenient with a parking lot and drive-thru pharmacy. I was at the pharmacy for my parents’ covid vaccines (Moderna). It took total of 1 hour including check-in and 15 min monitoring which was as expected. The waiting area for the pharmacy was spacious and comfortable. I’m glad we didn’t have to travel far for the vaccines. Overall, it was a great experience.

The Guyanese woman in the register is very rude. I asked for a simple price check and she responded in a very condescending way. If she doesn’t feel like working may be she shouldn’t work instead of giving bad customer service!

I shopped here for four Energizer 9 volt batteries, I get to the register and the cashier tells me $26.00, I immediately asked her twenty six dollars for four 9 volt batteries? She said yes and I told her to cancel the sale.When I got home I ordered eight 9 volt batteries from Amazon for $18.00. I am sure this Walgreens wont be around for long.Walgreens mark up is a complete ripoff of consumers. RIDICULOUS!!!The crazy part is Walgreens claims to be a discount store....REALLY???more like a five finger discount store.....for Walgreens 🤨🤨🤔🥴

I was standing 6 feet from a customer and a manager African American with dread locs rudely told me to back away from a customer when I was at an extreme distance I asked her to acknowledge me and she ignored me. The disrespect level in these employees are beyond words go to CVS

Just can’t believe it! I went this morning to Walgreens on Central Ave and Merrick Blvd. for a flu shot. After waited in line for 15 minutes then waited another 15 minutes after the young lady took my info, (she told me to have a seat and wait for some forms to fill out) I Never received the forms when I asked about why am I waiting so long, she again told me to wait for the forms. Time was running out on me by this time so I had to leave. I was very upset about this and told the young lady to cancel and I walked away.The service at this location stinks.I give this pharmacy location a very poor rating.

The customer service is terrible

Horrible service from the pharmacy. The representative told me that my medicine will be available in 20 minutes. I went back after 20 minutes and then she said its not ready, it will be ready in 20 minutes. I was like you said that 20 minutes ago. When the medicine was ready she said to me they not accepting my insurance.and the medicine cost $61.00. Why couldnt she say this at the beginning. They totally robbed me my money. I will never recommend this Walgreens.

Be aware...this is the only location I’ve been to where you have to wait on the regular customer service line to pick up photo orders placed online. They DO NOT have a separate line for photos, even if your order/card information was entered online and they do not disclose this information prior to choosing a pickup location. 20 minutes on a line with 2 reps working [on christmas eve might I add] just to pick up something I would have gotten in 5 min anywhere else.

Went to purchase some stuffs and the Guyanese lady in the front register was showing nasty attitude. She shouldn’t be working in the front of the store with that kind of customer service.

I was waiting on the drive through pharmacy line for over 45 mins. When I finally got to the window and rang the bell the person put me on hold didnt ask my name or address. Picked up the phone and then put on some kind of elevator music. After 10 mins I rang the bell again and the tech stated a different name for the dob I gave. I had to repeat myself several times. Finally the person said the medication came in now and its not ready. I said I would wait at the window and she said no I cannot. So now I am inside the store for another line with a sprained ankle. This is the worse walgreens I will be changing my local pharmacy to one that is more put together. Ypu dont find these issues in other neighborhoods which is terrible.😡😡😡😡

I would like to commend Derrick White for his assistance on May 26, 2019. I had misplaced some items that I purchased at the store that morning. Mr White checked the cameras inside and outside the store and concluded that I left the store with the items. I am still waiting on the refund from from a third party and sincerely appreciate his assistance.

This one pharmacist big guy with light beard, ALWAYS TOO SMART, never helpful and just was hired to give people hard time and smart answers. He’s always too busy!!!!!!!!!!!! It toook me more then a year to write this review. I don’t and did not wanted to, but every time you go their it’s a new story.

Worst customer service at pharmacy. I keep telling myself I’ll switch and give them another chance and especially the pharmacist himself. Never going back and switching all my Rx. I highly recommend you to never go to this pharmacy.

Adding to the last Review, prescription was charged on Sunday even when they’re closed. I had to pay out of my pocket at Rite Aide and now waiting on Walgreens to open on Monday and ask for the refund.** Charged for no medicine while Pharmacy is closed.** Also, Attend customer. As we go to the pharmacy line and get no response when your pharmacists see a customer.—> Management, Please correct this conditions

This review is for the pharmacy. Neighboring pharmacies are open on Sundays. This Walgreens is in the busiest intersection in Valley Stream. Please open on Sundays.

Wow now I see why this place got a 2.4 rating. Staff is very disrespectful and talk to people like pigs. Thumbs down!

I would like to thank Derrick White for his patience and knowledge during closing time on July 4th. He quickly gave me directions to obtain a nebulizer which I needed urgently at another Walgreens. I was able to obtain it and treat my granddaughters asthma. I have spoken to him in the past and he is always helpful and knowledgeable!!!

Worst customer service, I literally leave my job early yesterday to take my parents shopping the cashier was very rude to my parents because they paid with Otc and thats not the first time she has been disrespectful to them. The worst part is that they leave the store without anything, they were told that their card has .88 cent, However after calling the company we were told that Walgreen deducted $54.12 from them and didnt give them anything......Walgreens is not the place to go unless youre paying cash.

Always a pleasure when I go here. Pharmacist in the back is very professional.Also, there is never any wait like the other pharmacy up the block lol

Yesterday I had the most uncomfortable experience here. I walked into the store, began looking at facial products. As I was doing so I was checking my purse to make sure I had my debit card, my otc card and my cash. (I have a tendency to realize I left it in the car at the register) Because I know my self well, after checking I needed to go back to my car, on the way out I beeped and I didnt think nothing of it because I know I didn’t make it past the aisle in front of the door. I walked back in and noticed that the older guy African American guy with glasses kept trailing me as though he thought I was stealing or going to steal. After picking up what I needed my last stop was in the toothpaste aisle for a dental guard for my daughter I picked one up and made my way to the front, by the time I got there he was right behind me asking me if I needed help. By this time he also indicated to a younger African American guy to keep eyes on me because once he disappeared the younger guy apppeared. I realized that I picked up the dental guard and forgot the toothpaste because I was noticing how I was being subtly harassed... so I go back to the aisle and the younger guy is now following me. I make my way back to the register and he takes a different asile to the front to watch my moves. It was extremely uncomfortable and the manner was unprofessional. I would NEVER purchase anything from here again. Then the cashier assumed that I didn’t want a product that I was paying separately for because apparently she thought I was in there trying to steal also. It was just really sad. You can do your job as a loss provention worker and not make people feel like they are targets.

The manager was very helpful. She was awesome.

Worst Walgreens ever visited. Usually empty and employees are the laziest at their job. Brought in bottles for recycling refund and female employee refused to count them.
