Excellent Customer ServiceToday I went into Michael’s at Green Acres to look for a Swarovski stone for my shoe. I was not feeling well and didn’t feel like searching the entire store. I asked a female, Mia (Framing Manager) for assistance. I showed her what I was looking for and she went above and behind. She searched every row, every draw and online. Great experience today!

This is the worst location ever. so dirty. been on the phone trying to get an update on my order and 4 times iv ebeen put on hold for more than 15 min and have to keep calling back. do not go to this store. go to oceanside

Love this store. It has almost everything you need to do Arts and Craft projects.Prices are reasonable on many items.Definitely the place to go if youre looking for hard to find items for DIY craft projects, especially if you are working with children.

Parking is a bonus and so is location. Was able to go to the mall right after. However, I needed help and there was noone available to help me but Im sure thats due to the rates of unemployment at the moment😫😫

Who doesnt like this franchise? Great place . Only thing at this location Green Acres mall your better off avoiding the exit where all the mall traffic bottles up on that side. Go left and opt for the easy u turn on sunrise Blvd if your heading back west 😉

The store was clean and organized. However, the lines were extremely long and they only had 1 cashier working. It is difficult to find staff to assist you on the floor, very limited staff. Be prepared to wait on line!

Great store. Love Michaels. However we went at 8:30pm and the women at the check out counter were very unprofessional and rude. If we werent in a hurry Id have called the manager!

Had a particularly good experience with Mia in the framing department. The manager was also helpful as he pitched in on the registers in front. I think his name was Chris.

A female cashier at this location was very rude and disrespectful. I asked her to price check an item for me due to no price being on it and she made a smart remark to my comment. Also, as a member of Michaels it’s important to know your policies in order to assist customers in the best way possible. I asked this young lady to use a military discount for Memorial Day according to an email that came out and she told me I could not. If you read the email and Michaels Coupon Policy it states that you can just show your military ID OR register it to your rewards account to receive a 15% off discount on every purchase. I will no longer shop at this Michaels for any reason.

Great people working. Line always long and the representative never have any information on grab bags. I’ve been calling for months asking and they keep saying next month. When I call the following month, “next month”. Other than that, amazing and helpful staff when in store.

They have a very large and diverse selection of items. The staff was difficult to locate and not very helpful. This may have been a function of the particular day and time that I was there and not typical. But be aware that it may take time to locate an associate that can help you

Line was a little wait as there was only 1 cashier but they had what I was looking for at a reasonable price. Two 12x18 frames with a 30% coupon for signing up for email for $12. They also had candles on clearance for $1.99!

Great selection of items but there are rarely any cashiers. The lines are always so long and the cashiers have to deal with so many people its quite upsetting. The sales are great and if you go at the right time hopefully there might be more cashiers and shorter lines.

It is a nice store with a lot of selections for arts and crafts. There was a long line but it is understandable. Since it is a holiday season. 6Ft apart and everyone were patient to stay. Nice atmosphere.

I have been shopping here for years, and this is always my place of preference to shop for beads, yarn, arts and craft materials, lanyard, and classroom activities. They also sell T-shirts and caps if you’d like immerse yourself in a cultural tie-dye experience. They offer classes so that you can learn how to make your own crafts. I went in looking for items tbat I needed for a craft project with my little ones. I asked a few associates to help me find items after I found most of what I needed on my own. They simply said oh you can find it in this aisle or pointed way yonder. I checked out and even asked the cashier who couldnt help me even when showing in the app that the items were in stock. I left unsatisfied not being able to have everything that I needed. After checking out I even tried again to find the one item I really needed and once again I was told that I should be able to find it in a few aisles over. Clearly no one wanted to helo that day. This is the second time I have been to this Michaels and gotten the same result, I will not revisit here. Staff is unfriendly, and unhelpful. I traveled miles to get there for this result? I will not be returning. I will order online or try a competitor if I must. The ones closest to me have all closed since the pandemic.

Ordered an item online. Waited for curbside pickup for 20-30 minutes. Finally went inside to pick up in person. The woman who helped me in the store was very nice and accomadating.

I would spend my entire paycheck here along with my 401k. They always have sales and lots of crafts to buy. Friendly staff and always clean facilities. Visit this place often and stuff.

I don’t live near this Michaels so this is not my home-base, but I was looking for a particular item that according to the website only this store would have. So I called yesterday and THREE times someone answered and said please hold before even asking what I needed or waiting for me to respond. Each time I waited 10-15 minutes before hanging up and trying again. It was super annoying, but I figured maybe they had a bare bones staff since they were closing in an hour and a half. Which is not a good excuse, but fine...Then I called today and finally I got to speak to someone and tell them what I was generally looking for (the brand). I attempted to tell them what I specifically needed, but was already put in hold. I then waited on the phone for 20 MINUTES before disconnecting. Not once did someone come back to the phone to give me a status update or even ask me the specific item I needed.So at this point, I’m really frustrated, and I called back and asked to speak to a manager. The manager literally said he could see the area where my item was stocked from where he was standing. It took all of 5 minutes just to find out they didn’t even have it in the store despite the website saying they did. Furthermore, the manager didn’t even attempt to make it seem like he would address this issue with his employees. Overall, I am incredibly disappointed and surprised at the lack of customer service of this particular location. Though looking at other reviews, I can tell CS is not this store’s priority. What a shame.I love the Michaels by my house, but this store really needs to pick up the slack. I would recommend going to another location if you have the option.

I love coming here for my crafting needs but it can be incredibly hard to find an employee on the floor to ask for help from. Also they have recently reopened from the quarantine and shelves were bare. If you found someone they were happy to look in the plastic bins on top of each aisle to find items not on shelves.

I really like this Michael, if you do a lot DYI or crocheting or paints or photography, this is a great place to go plus nice parking enough for everyone, they do have bathrooms for customer, a lot of employees around if you needs help and they are very nice too ... so far my experience has been good

This place was nicely stocked, I got sp many cool things from the 99 cent pile they had, I was so happy!

The merchandise great, one unpleasant thing the sale person did not put all of my purchase in my bag, my grandchild was not pleased. I understand these are uncomfortable times, its also uncomfortable not having what you paid for not in your bag(s). Customers be aware!

I was there on 12/23/18 to purchase a last minute Xmas gift that I just thought about at the spur of the moment. The Micheals app said limited quantities, so I thought I had some luck. I quickly drove to my local store. Upon entering I felt like I came too late. Everything was a mess, and few empty shelves. I went to the yarn section. I couldn’t locate the item I wanted. Not one sales person was working the floor, not one! I felt retail had disintegrated a lot, I felt like it’s a help yourself atmosphere. All the sales people were in the front of the store with checkout. I went over to framing area twice. Until I saw a sales lady. I felt hope, she answered my questions and I had to quickly go to the nearest store which was Oceanside. The drive wasn’t bad, 20 minutes. And they had. What I wanted, I sensed it was partially used., but nothing was missing. Anyway. Used a coupon to buy it and was happy to have gotten what I came to buy, now retail isn’t what it used to be.

I am making a bouquet i went to 4 different micheals didnt find anything for the bouquet Im so disappointed in Michaels. Went to hobby lobby and Amazon got everything

Do not waste your time going to the store in Valley Stream youre better off going to the one in Oceanside. Its like they do not do any inventory at all can care less about doing stock. Almost every time that I went there never had anything in stock and I go to Oceanside and found everything that I needed I repeat do yourself a favor do not go to this store itll be a waste of time.
