For groceries it’s a good store but priced highly. Disappointed in the deli and will go elsewhere, had a bad experience months ago and decided to go elsewhere from then on. Tried again and unfortunately the deli department is still incredibly slow. It’s disappointing as I’ve been to other KK’s with great deli departments.

I went to customer pick up a guy came over to me immediately and asked if I was there for a pick up it took 5 minutes and I was done amazing

Decided to use Insta Cart and order from King Kullen in Valley Stream. This service is very good if you dont have time to visit the store, however, please keep in mind the prices on line are a bit higher than in the store. The problem I had when I received my order was the meat I ordered was outdated and smelled really bad, the 4lb bag of navel oranges were rotten. The good thing is you can call Insta Cart customer service and they will reimburse your credit/debit card for the products that werent in satisfactory condition. A lot of items you see on line in the KK site are not always in the store. The shopper will text you with a picture of a replacement item if you want it. King Kullen is not what it used to be.

Coming here after years of going to other nearby places to me reminded me of enjoying this store and my shopping experience. The isles are clean everything is organized the staff is nice, courteous and as a shopper you feel appreciated and lastly the prices are comparable to Stop & Shop and Shoprite

Although this store is on the larger side and is supposedly open 24 hours, it is not an amazing option for fresh items. I would give the produce section a solid F-. Most items like lettuce, kale, other leafy vegetables, and some of the fruit are rotting on the shelves or are turning into a soft green mush due to over spraying of water and age. Even the prepackaged lettuce is old and rotting in the bag. I had to throw out almost an entire bag of Dole Romaine lettuce due to being so soft and mushy. The Deli section is a whole other issue in itself. Ive never seen a number system available, so its kind of a free for all when ordering if there is a lot of people. The Deli workers themselves are the most unhappy miserable bunch I have ever seen! If you dont want to work in a Deli then dont work there! Sorry to bother you if Id like to make a sandwich at my house. The bakery section is average, but I only bought fresh bread from them once. It wasnt great. The meat section is average as well but there does seem to be alot of options for different cuts of meat. This store is good for certain things but I stopped buying produce here for sure. Exactly what I want in a grocery store... clean, organized, good variety, and lots of parking. Decent bakery as well. And theres currently a Bethpage Credit Union inside as well as an ATM.

The supermarket is a bit expensive However, its clean and the quality/freshness of the meat is excellent. The bakery section also makes delicious cakes/pastries, with an array of things to choose from. Overall, great supermarket, friendly staff. I wont shop anywhere else.

King Kullen is a very nice super market to shop for all your grocery needs. A very large selection of deli meats and cheeses are offered. You can stand on line, or order from the kiosk. Either way you will receive the very best of service. The deli clerks are courteous. Ask for a sample to be sure of your selection. You can also grab-n-go a wide variety of cheese and superior items like fresh olives and fresh mozzarella in olive oil. The meat department and frozen food items are excellent. I like the frozen ravioli. You can stand on line to pay or choose self-check out!

Very helpful store. They had Arizona ice tea on sale. However, they didnt have the flavor that I wanted (diet green tea with blueberry flavor). In fact, they usually didnt even carry my favorite flavor. I took a chance & spoke to the store manager, who told me that he would see what he could do. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call today, from the manager, who not only got the flavor that I wanted, but he put several cases aside for me. He even charged me the sales price. I was pleasantly surprised, and very impressed. The store manager really went out of his way to be helpful! I highly recommend this store!

King Kullen is a great supermarket in Long Island area. You can easily get in and out without crowds.The variety in deli and bakery is awesome.They have a good selection of produce. I like their green vegetable selection.They offer good sales and offer double coupons that are $1.00 face value. This is a good way to save even more.I always like stores with self checkout and they do so they are high on my list.

King kullen is my familys favorite store and I myself prefer this place for its open space between the racks and no hassle. Staff is nice and good. I as a senior citizen prefer to work with them if my family allows

Like a cross between a health food store and a supermarket. Good variety for someone with a special diet. High quality, beautiful produce, prolific bakery, and a vast freezer section all make king kullen worth while. The only hitch is that it can be expensive and the produce doesnt include all the tropical vegetables ( taro, purple sweet potato, name) and even if they do sell, say, plantains, its expensive. Smaller supermarkets offer more variety of ethnic vegetables for less money, but otherwise its a perfect supermarket

The entire store was kind of bleak. It is a decent sized store staff was somewhat friendly but the selection was mediocre at best they were some things I couldn’t find so I kept them on my list and eventually went to Stop & Shop a few days later the prices were decent but I won’t see myself coming back

Great King Kullen Supermarket, has everything. love the big layout, easy flow isles and wonderful produce area. Not so easy to find from the main road, but plenty of parking. Customer service has money transfer, lotto and ect. Flowers are always fresh and good value. A neighborhood go to.

I really enjoy shopping here. The word to describe it, at least for me, is pleasant. Its not perfect sometimes lines are too long or sometimes they dont have what Im looking for but a pleasant experience shopping here. Its further from my house than two other supermarkets and I still choose this one.

Rotten fish! Third time! I stopped buying salmon here after the second time I took home bad fish... but tonight it looked good, so I took the chance... but when I got home and opened it, ROTTEN, AGAIN!!!After working a 13 hour day, the last thing I feel like doing is making 2 trips to the grocery store because they sell bad seafood!! Terrible!!

King Killen in valley stream is s great supermarket. A but pricey but the food in the deli department us great. The rotisserie chicken us awesome....

Better than the Associated, C town and the other King Kullen by Peninsula Blvd. They have improved a lot and have a variety of choices. I feel it’s so big you can get lost but once you get the feel of the place, you can find what you need and be out in no time. Plus, I don’t know if they ever have any busy times but the lines are quick. If you not the first in line you’re the second. Not like everywhere else. Walmart, Target, CVS take note.

Fish market needs total overhauling. Why anyone would buy fish here beats me. Otherwise produce, deli, bakery and sale items very good.

This is a pretty good location with a decent selection of goods and a very helpful group of staff members walking around the place. One thing I enjoy about this location is that they have the strange little things I often look for (the organic selections mostly). Prices are great, the parking is iffy because youre in valley stream and people just dont understand how to drive a car.

I just picked up my daughters Roblox sheet cake and let me tell you it is amazing. The guy in the bakery is so nice and on point with details etc. The staff at the bakery are so nice I’ve never felt so comfortable in a grocery store ever! I will definitely come back. And also I want y’all to know I live In Jamaica Queens and I drive all the way to Valley Stream just to go shopping at King Kullen.

Large, clean store with abundant parking. Location has appy department, in house bakery and nice seafood counter. Sale prices are good but some items require minimum total purchase. Everyday prices seem high but probably no worse than competition. Never encountered long waits for checkout. Only market around with double coupons up to $1.00. Good selection of imported, specialty and organic food. If your forte is cold cuts and cheeses from appetizing section go to Best Market and save a lot by choosing the specials on Boars Head and other brands. The impression I get is that some markets dont know or dont care what the competition is doing.

I love King Kullen and especially this one in Valley Stream. They have a good selection of produce and the deli is really good. They also have the bathroom located in the front of the store so that you dont have to go in the back room to get to it. This King Kullen is always clean and the employees are nice and helpful, so I definitely recommend you come here.

Its a very clean and big supermarket. The downside is that they dont have alot of selection of ethnic foods. They cater mostly to the caucasian group. No Spanish or any other food that I like to eat are available. Very few selections if any to choose from. They need to change and Cater to all groups.

Yes they are 24hrs just not everyday. Sunday and Monday they close around 12. They lock the entrance during late hours so you have to use the exit to get in. If its your first time going you might think they are closed. Other the. That its s great store. Its always clean and the produce are always fresh.

Some things are more pricey than other Supermarkets in surrounding towns but they do offer a great variety of produce which is always fresh! 1st I went 3 weeks now for Perdue chicken breast Italian style, and got none.. But, My cashier is always willing and able, she is very helpful and friendly. I get there in the evenings, I always get her. She makes me feel that my shopping is not a burden and tired, but a pleasure to end my day at kind kullen.

The store has a very attractive and modern lay out, though it is a little confusing at first. The aisle signs are a tad bit too small and not as prominent as they should be. Thinking of the elderly and poor eyesight in this regard. Its a store that caters to every ethnic group with foods, vegetables, fruits, meat, poultry and fish that would be familiar to the diverse population of the surrounding neighborhoods. There is ample parking with the turnoff on Merrick being the only traffic issue as there is no left hand turn signal heading east. All in all a good experience. They have extended hours, however they are not truly 24 hours.

Went in for blood orange gelato of which they had none. But I did try a broccoli crunch salad which Ill buy again. But not the seafood salad (taste like imitation) or the red potato salad(needs something)

This place isnt what it used to be. Deli is a joke! You wait forever and deal with attitudes. There are a select few who are actually courteous. They should strongly consider retraining or hiring new people. How dare your workers talk to customers in the tone that they do?! The poor elderly woman didnt know what to say. Baker Santo made a gorgeous 3 tier cake for my event. There were 2 layers with strawberry filling and 1 layer with chocolate. I brought some rhinestone bling wrap, so he added it to the cake, and it looked like a masterpiece. So delicious! I would have easily paid 3 times times the cost if I had purchased this cake at a local baker.
