My grandmother was a customer here for years. She passed away in March. Now, my PHYSICALLY DISABLED/ SENIOR CITIZEN mother continues to live in the home until the its sold. They’ve never required an automatic debit withdrawal set up previously. Today, they sent a tech with a new 2 year contract for my mother to sign in her name. They REQUIRED her to sign an automatic debit/credit card withdrawal form, when they have always been paid at the time of the salt delivery, no questions asked!!! My mother doesn’t feel comfortable doing that, because she doesn’t know which account will have the money in it that she needs to pay for it at the time. She is a senior citizen who is on social security disability and has a very limited income. My mother has been the one in charge of my grandmas finances, and they’ve always been paid. So, June 3rd they’re coming to pick up the water softener because they would not continue to do business with her because she didn’t sign the automatic withdrawal form and because they wanted her to sign a brand new contact for 2 years SIMPLY BECAUSE MY GRANDMA PASSED AWAY. She should not have to enter into a brand new contract when she’s living in the same home! I’ve never heard of a business REQUIRING you to set up automatic withdrawal. Shame on you, Aqua Systems!

The way that they treat someone with a disability and whos on a fixed income is horrible. I cant believe how you treated my mother in law. Im glad they will no longer be using your company anymore. Plus the fact you are overcharging for your salt is outrageous i found same salt for half the price you charge. You lost a customer of many years. Then you tell said customer for over ten years the reason you charge so much is because the cost of labor. Sounds more like someone is greedy to me.

There is no water problem they cannot solve. Seriously! Dont waste money and frustration on Sears. HomeDepot, Menards cheap systems. Our water was smelly and rusty. Even dug a new well. Steve put in a whole-house iron system and softener and water is perfect. You will pay more for these systems but if you dont like yellowing clothes, rusty toilets, nasty looking water, spend the extra and you will not be sorry.
