To me, compared to Triangle, Trail-Inn Is dark and poorly-lit making it feel dirty and crowded. I just didn’t have a good feeling walking around I’m sorry to say.I always use Triangle and the prices here are identical which you’d expect since they I have the same owner. Triangle has a new and larger location and it shows. The atmosphere is much more pleasant there if you ask me.

Ive been coming here for about 2 years. Good news! I got married (stick with it, its related)!After changing my name, my credit card company told me to just wait until my current cards expired to get new ones. This wasnt an issue anywhere else until I tried to pick up some Champaign for the New Year today.Regardless of me being a regular and well over 21, they would not sell to me because the name on my new ID did not match the name on the same card theyve been running for me for the past 2 years.Their selection is decent and the people that work nights are awesome and underappreciated but this policy is asinine.

This place has the hard to find Mikes Hard flavors. Plus, they have Three Floyds, all the unique and yummy flavors! Its great here. Lowells and Crown Points stores dont have them.

They have a good variety of products, and the prices are fine too, but thefat slob owner of this establishment has some serious attitude problems. The other staff are fine. Its just this fat slob owner who makes no attempt to be polite or hide his irritation at the smallest of things. I mean seriously, if he hates running this place so much, then maybe he should find another career rather than being one of the most rude, disagreeable and grouchy liquor store employees I have ever met. I dont know if he has a mental illness or something, but like I said, maybe he should go into another profession if hes so tired of running this place. Just a suggestion.

I have been coming here since before I could even drink alcohol. My father used to take me in here when you were still allowed to do that. The owner was always super sweet and would give me free pretzel rods when I was a child. As an adult this store has pretty much anything you would want from a liquor store. Top shelf spirits, veritable plethora of wines, and an amazing selection of beers from microbrews to domestic to imports Trail Inn has you covered.

Prices are pretty reasonable, but pints are too expensive.

All or most of your liquors (beer, wine, rum etc) are sold here, friendly employees, usually busy on Friday & Saturday evenings, the parking lot gets congested & traffic on Lincolnway Ave will be lengthy too. Id say after 7pm the rush hour traffic is gone & there shouldnt be any problems leaving this business.

This place is kinda dirty, and of youre unlucky youll feel with this one huge jerk who always seems to be there...BUT the selection is amazing, including craft beers and ciders, and theyre letting you purchase craft 12oz bottles individually from a large shelf, or you can pick 4 or pick 6 for a little discount. Prices are totally fine throughout the store, and they have a lot of popular stuff in the cooler. There are other liquor stores in town but I always go here.

Very dingy looking place. Walmart or Target has comparable or cheaper prices. The older heavier gentleman that was working was not very polite.None of this will matter to alcoholics or college students as theyre probably the ones that keep this place in business.

This place is run by the most cantankerous and rudest sorry excuse for a human being. Even if the prices were half of what other liquor stores sell product for, I would still boycott this establishment. If you are looking to be absolutely depressed and get unbelievably horrible service, this is your stop. Customers are treated like dirt here, and it is totally inexcusable. Go to Triangle instead- a diametrically opposite atmosphere to Trail-Inn. I just cannot say enough terrible things about this store, solely due to the misanthrope in charge.
