I recently had to move my home office to a new out-of-town location. The entire process went smoothly, starting with the initial office visit in Crown Point to loading everything on the truck, transporting and unloading at the destination site. The movers were very efficient and friendly. I was very pleased and would definitely hire them again!

Everyone was what seemed to be polite and professional until we opened our moving trailer. It looks like an elephant was in our moving truck. Everything was smashed. They did not pack professionally and the majority of our items are damaged. We told the movers to wrap all furniture and they wrapped it half way or not at all. We also bought 16 pads to wrap items that they never used! I called them multiple times and left messages and got no response. Going to have to go to corporate.

We hired Two Men and a Truck from Valparaiso a week ago. They were on time and the young men who moved us were all very polite. Always asking us questions as to meet our needs. Once we arrived at our new place they worked very hard to place our furniture where we wanted it. If we didnt like it in a certain place they were happy to move it for us. I would definitely recommend Two Men and a Truck to anyone considering a move.

This is our second time using Two Men & A Truck and once again we were very pleased with them. They arrived on time and were very careful when moving our belongings. The movers were cautious, efficient, and fast and we had no problem getting everything set up in our new home. We highly recommend them and would use them again if we were moving a third time!

I wish I remembered the guys names that moved my stuff they were super nice! I had a Uhaul I needed unloaded and a couch moved and just a bunch of stuff and they did everything and were so nice about it. I hate moving...its so stressful and this was a move from Louisville to NW Indiana. So by the time I got to my destination whew! They made the unloading easy. Also the lady at the office was really nice too (I suck at remembering names) but she called and confirmed a few days before which was helpful to calm my nerves.

Made A very hectic day much less stressful. The 3 guys that came knew their job and each other and made it a quick efficient and at times funny move. Thank you all very much!!

I used 2 Men and a Truck when I moved from Illinois to Indiana 3 years ago and they were great. Very professional and upfront about all of the costs. They were very careful with my furniture and very pleasant to talk to. I just moved again in state and I used them again for all the same reasons. We had checked another service and didnt use them due to the price. We decided to call Two Men and a Truck since we passed one of their trucks, and not only did their estimate come in way below the other guys, but at the end of the move, the service cost less than they estimated! I love it when a company is honest! Not only that, but the crew was absolutely great! Theyre efficient, and loaded that truck so tight that nothing could have dislodged unless they pulled out the key piece of furniture! I highly recommend this company!

We moved in April and used this company for the first time. On move day they were polite and respectful. We had some damages to our new construction home during the move from furniture scuffing lines across the wall straight through drywall along the staircase and a collapsed dresser. Our driveway was poured recently and I asked for heavy items to go across card board and this was not done so we also have lines carved into the driveway. Still, they were very nice and respectful and worked hard and I tipped all of them. They acknowledged the damages they incurred from the move, apologized and referred me to their office manager before leaving that day. Their customer service skills have proven much better than their manager. It is October and although I was asked to email pictures and did, to the office manager, with a response of receiving, I have still not had any damages addressed. I do not get return calls or emails. I have no choice soon to actually file a small claim which I have never had to do against any company. I anticipate moving again within the next 3 to 5 years and am not likely to recommend this company at this time. If resolved I will update this review.Update 10/27/2021 I am updating my review within a week of some result because I said I would, although it did take about 6 months for me the get a result from them. After this review and another email and voicemail to the office manager, (I do have a direct contact) I received a message that a contractor would be out to fix the drywall damage. He did apologize in the message and expressed that they have had difficulty in hiring contractors for damage repair issues that are actually showing up and doing the work. He did add he didnt realize mine was never taken care of, however within these months I have left him voicemails and emails that were never responded to. I do understand the contractor issue, some communication or even a follow up would have prevented a lot of frustration.The contractor came as scheduled. He did an excellent job and I am very satisfied with his work. He was punctual and paid attention to the detail of his work.As for the driveway damage, this google review owners response is the first I am hearing that anyone has looked at it. The day before our scheduled move I received a call from our builder notifying us the pouring of the driveway was being done that morning. I expressed frustration to the builder and told them we had a scheduled move the next day and had not been notified it was being poured the day before our move. The builder said it was already in process and that we yes, couldnt park on it but could roll items up it. They added that the heavy items can be safely rolled over cardboard to prevent any damage. I immediately called your company and notified of this issue, and was told that it would be ok for the movers to move the items from the street and across cardboard on the drive. I apologized and asked if we should reschedule because I truly felt bad and she reassured me that it was ok to continue with the scheduled move and then confirmed the move with me. The review response appears to point towards it being just poured however as you can see I had contacted the company since I was also concerned. This response feels minimizing and after being satisfied with the drywall work I am now disappointed that the response is for me to take care of this myself. Also to note the driveway was taped off and no cars were parked on it, nor are they now. They are fully garage kept. However that is minimal to this issue. I am only clarifying since that was added into the owner response to my review.The drywall damage was repaired perfectly. The drywall issue was more pertinent to me than the driveway issue. This contractor had great communication. I also had to replace a dresser that I had taken photos of but never had a responses to be able to address as well. I am appreciative of the work of the contractor and satisfied with that repair.

The gentleman that helped us unpack were a great help. But we were charge from 2:15pm-7:30pm. They didn’t arrive to our home until 3:45pm and they didn’t even finish unloading our stuff. So now we are looking for help to unload the rest of our home short notice. Moving from out of state this hasn’t been easy. We went with this company because of the name, even though they were a lot more expensive than others. My family and I have moved a lot and have had bad luck with moving companies. We are adding this company to the list and definitely won’t be using their services again and making sure everyone in my department knows about our experience.

Mike Shane has to be one of the most egocentric people there is in this business. He feels no compassion for the customer & doesnt care if the customer if held hostage on time or if he cancel a scheduled move.His lack of even wanting to discuss a particular topic is childish at best.I would NEVER recommend anyone to use this particular franchise. They will leave you guessing if your movers actually will be on time, if they will move your possessions or how safely.

This company really has surprised me, not only are they fair in there prices, but I have been lucky in dealing with one of the movers who I used for my relocation from Whiting to Valparaiso. This person is Tony, he was so cool, and professional, he was a really stand out guy, his co-worker from my first move and this move were two different people but they were just as great and professional.I highly recommend Two Men and a Truck, from relocation to using them to pick up and deliver furniture from any furniture store. I found that there prices were completely fair, and there work ethic was pretty solid.

Two Men were able to generate a quote that accurately matched the actual invoice time and amount charged. UPDATE 3/29/21 - I am amending my review because the owner personally called to talk about this with me and did offer to move the futon in question and was very kind about the situation. There was a miscommunication during the move but it was settled and we really did have a great first move with this company and I would be willing to use them again because it was a hiccup and we were on the other end of that miscommunication so we accept responsibility for our end too.

I needed to move my mom’s furniture from her apartment during Covid quarantine. Someone mentioned this company and I arranged to use them. I am very happy with this service which included a storage unit. So grateful for this challenge of mine to be taken care of so well.

I had an excellent move from a three bedroom tri level to a two bedroom first floor apartment. All of my boxes were in the right rooms. My furniture was pu in place exactly where I wanted it. They took great care with glass shelving and doors on a hutch. They were friendly, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I had worked with many movers for corporate moves. This company exceeded all of them. I would highly recommend them!

We had issues with the company we were using and Two Men and a Truck not only made space for us in their warehouse but turned out an entire crew to make sure the unloading into their warehouse went smoothly. If you’re looking for a company that has total disregard for your belongings and charges top dollar, you’re in the right spot. Hired what I thought were professional movers to load a UPack trailer. What I got were kids that were inexperienced.and didn’t care about my belongings arriving intact. I booked the movers a few weeks in advance, explained the situation and was told my move would be two men for a minimum of 4 hours. When the ‘men’ arrived, the one who appeared to be in charge immediately had an attitude and told me they were only booked to move 4 pieces of furniture and not a whole house load. 4 hours for 4 pieces of furniture? After calling the location and being told by the operation manager that the confusion was my fault, they agreed to load the truck. At the halfway point of loading the truck I was required to sign a form indicating half way, as well as another form indicating they were not responsible for any damage to my belongings. Well, now I know why. They literally threw my things in the trailer. Furniture broken, damaged, legs shattered off chairs and quality moving boxes that appear as though they were stomped on. Another company hired to unload the truck at our new home indicated whom ever loaded the truck did a terrible job and didn’t know what they were doing.

They did a excellent job moving my grantite desk from my office to my residents. Everything went as planned. I have used Two Men in a truck for the 3rd times and each time they have done an excellent job. The two employees were while train and had a very positve attitude. I am in trucking / logistices and hire over 20,000 carriers a year. I would use them again in the future.

I am very disappointed with Two Men and a Trucks customer service. My husband and I paid good money for what we thought were professional movers. However, when we contacted the Valpo branch with damage concerns, we were told that it was our responsibility to make sure the movers were packing items correctly and they were not liable for damages. 1. I was busy cleaning out our house and was never once outside watching them pack. 2. I thought we hired PROFESSIONAL movers..why is it my responsibility to address how they pack?According to the policy, we were supposed to check the packing halfway and at the end of the move. We were never informed of this stipulation until our trailer was already packed and locked and the paperwork signed. The movers also semmed to rush this process due to another move following ours.I would not recommend the Valpo branch of Two Men and a Truck. It disappoints me that they place sole blame on their customers instead of being willing to rectify their policies to support their clientele.

The guys did a great job for a difficult move. They helped on the move out end to toss out old furniture into a dumpster and they were great on the move in end navigating a difficult driveway in the Indiana Dunes. I could not recommend them enough.

The movers were on time, very professional, I wasnt charged for a few things they couldve charged me for and I was about to throw out a glider chair I thought was broken when actually it just needed a little tweak underneath which one of the movers did for me without me even asking and in turn I was able to keep my chair and will be able to use it now! they were quick and very polite. Will definitely use them again in the future! And the receptionists were very friendly as well!

I hired Two Men and a Truck to move furniture around my house. There were several large, heavy pieces that they had to take up and down stairs. They did a great job. They showed up when they said they would be here, they never complained, and not a scratch on anything. Men were very friendly and personable. They had a challenging move with oversized items, two-story staircase and narrow doorways yet they managed to get the job done in a timely and professional manor while keeping their spirits up. They were over 2 hours late. They took forever. I have had my whole house packed in less time then it took them to move my furniture. It ended costing us over $600 more than estimated and we still didnt move everything we needed. Do yourself a favor and call a normal moving company and get an estimate. I could have saved money and had less aggravation.

The movers were GREAT!!! They worked hard and fast. We moved into a high rise and you only get so much time to use the freight elevator. With a tight window for time and a 1 hr. 20 min. drive from the initiation point to the new building, everything went perfectly. They were professional and on time. They even beat us to the building, which was in a super busy area in downtown Chicago. I will definitely use them again in the future.

They did an excellent job moving my grandmothers estate. They were quick, yet careful. The workers were also very polite and professional. I would definitely use them again.

Really nothing wrong with the team just the length of time for what i considered a small move 1500 sq apartment took 6 hours to load, mind that i had everything packed and broken down other than my master bed. Total move time was 12.5 hours. The team actually had 3 men as well.

I was quoted 600-900 for a local move. The two guys that showed up to move were out of shape and were struggling to move my furniture. They were very slow and caught them hanging out in the truck not doing anything at two spots of the move. Even was taking stuff out to them. My move ended up taking 10 hours. Now making my price jacked up to almost 1400. They got lost to the new place and it took them 45 mins to get there all the while it’s only a 15 mins drive 20 mins tops. I also did a lot of work for the to make it easier and go faster by having most of the stuff in the garage ready to load. They get paid from the time they leave their office to the time they get back. Oh and did I mention that they were 35 mins late as well. And to top it off my property was damaged during the move. The one guy was telling me how he didn’t want to work for them and was looking for something else along with how they damaged another person’s property on a different move. So why in God’s earth would he want to take care of my property. I was extremely disappointed and the company did nothing to adjust cost. Would not recommend the company to anyone unless you don’t care about time, money or your personal property. #notahappycustomer#willneverusethemagain

I had never used Two Men and A Truck before. I had another company I had always dealt with. When I called the other company two weeks before the move they could not accommodate me. The recommended Two Men and a Truck. I may never use the other company again. Two men and a Truck did a great job of estimating my costs, being on time, moving everything without damages, and even went above and beyond my expectations. This was an emotional move for me. My mother has Alzheimers and the move was to a memory care unit. I was a basket case, but the two movers were wonderful, caring men who seemed to understand my anxiety. I unfortunately forgot their names, but I would like to thank them again for everything. I felt the cost of the move was fair and I couldnt have asked for anything more. I also wanted to add that we needed a them a bit longer and I had stated that possibility to the estimator and she was very close to the additional costs. I was very pleased with the move. I think you do get what you pay for. To expect these people to do the hard work you do not want to do for less is crazy. These guys were quick and got the job done with no damages. They were well within the time frame and costs given on the estimate. Again, thank you.

BAIT AND SWITCH!!!The local office in Valparaiso told me AFTER the move that their low end estimate ONLY INCLUDES THE ESTIMATED DRIVE TIME. and they know this, but chose not to tell potential customers.The local manager, Tom, told me that no one in any industry ever takes the low estimate as being real. the final cost was $470 OVER THE HIGH END COST.The 2 men who did the actual work, Lenny and Mike, were fantastic, if they worked for anyone else I would recommend them very highly.The local office would not return ANY phone calls over a 5 day period to discuss this huge difference. We had to call repeatedly before getting Tom on the phone and best he could offer AFTER telling 4 lies/miss-leading statements was to rebate us one man hour, or $77.00.We had offered to split the $470 difference, but they elected to bill the total amount onto our credit card and Tom told us to read contracts better in the future.

They work their hardest to make your life easier. Easy to talk to if any issues come up. They put in LONG hours just to make sure the job gets done.

They moved my belongings from Valparaiso to Franklin and were prompt, careful, courteous and, best of all, did the job for less than the estimate, which was already reasonable. Highly recommend them!
