I love spending days in a bookstore. This one was no exception. The smell of fresh brewed coffee welcomes you as you take a step in the door, which is one of my favorite things as well. There are three different floors and each has their own thing going for them. You enter on the middle floor, which has newer books and the coffee. The stairs to the basement floor can be seen as you enter and it is full of stacks of used books, which are sold base on number of books you buy and they get cheaper the more you buy! The third floor can be found by walking back toward the coffee. It is full of used kid books. The people working there are polite and actually ask if you need help finding anything.

This place has lots of charm and character. The coffee was delicious. I star missing because the used book section is too unorganized. Otherwise. Very nice.

Cute little store! Loved the set-up! Coffee bar and books in middle level entrance, more books downstairs, and a childrens book nook upstairs. Harry Potter inspirational bits throughout the store, very fun! Plenty of signs displaying prices. Signs showing upcoming events. Perfect little bookstore.

They have SO MANY books, used and new! Great prices and an amazing selection. The upstairs has books and a little coffee bar. The bottom floor is books floor to ceiling. It reminds me of a shop that would be on Diagon Alley. If youre a book lover or a coffee lover, you will love this store!

My boys said their hot chocolate was awesome. Non coffee drinks for the kids and a special childrens area. Peaceful environment. Super friendly staff. First additions. Author signings. Theme nights. Great place :)

This is a really neat little bookstore. They have a decent sized library of used books downstairs, as well as new titles on the main level. There is also a childrens area upstairs with quite a few kids books. If you would like, they serve coffee and espresso drinks to drink while you browse or sit on the patio and read a good book. The staff (the guy working when I was there was named Nate) was really friendly too.

Out for a day of shopping with my niece and ran onto this shop. I’ve always heard of “Chapters” but I’ve never been in it and I will be going back! Wonderful smells and aromas from the coffee and tea and nice people to visit with.

This business is incredibly important not only to our local economy but also to the people that live in the area! It fills so many needs, such as providing an authentic experience of reading and purchasing books, serving tasty foods and beverages, and offering socialization opportunities to the community in the way of fun events!

We go to Trivia Night there, its so much fun and the coffee shop is great! (Side note: I do think they should schedule more staff for trivia night though, because between the number of drink orders and hosting the game, I think thats too much work for just one person. She handles it like a champ, but you know thats gotta be stressful.)

This is a newly discovered favorite. Its cozy, the coffee is delicious, and it made this little Harry Potter nerd super happy with its closet under the staircase. I recommend the Mexican mocha (forgive me, I know I got the name wrong) with chocolate, cinnamon, and chile!

Quaint. Well laid out in a vintage setting with a huge choice of books - new and used. Comfortable coffeeshop and good wifi. A nice quiet place to browse while sipping a chai.

They were suppose to be hosting our book club meeting and had requested we spend at least $50 with them, there wasnt even enough pastries for all of us and the lady working didnt know anything about us coming. Im sure its a great bookstore, it was super cute and welcoming. But fail in the hosting department. Some of our ladies still purchased drinks on our way out. We relocated for our club meet.

I collect books, and was able to add to my collection at a very inexpensive price.

Wonderful!!! So cute. We had a little 2 yr old with us & we went upstairs to the kids room & put together puzzles & played with legos. So many books & they have coffee.

Very high quality selection. As in, when you look at the Sci-Fi, Fantasy, etc sections - they have the best books written by the legends of those genres. I was very impressed by that and Ive not really seen a selection like that in any bookstore. I feel the prices of the new books are a little high, but the used book prices are very reasonable. Massive selection of used books downstairs as well.

The café is very cute and the employees are always willing to help, but the books can be disorganized, especially on the lower level. This is a nice place to go if youre not looking for anything in particular and youre willing to browse a bit.

One of the best coffee shops I have had the privilege of patroning. My only criticism, if there is one to find, is that I could not find a book I was looking for...but this is okay because they probably did not have it. I know it is probably impossible to have a database but that would be nice to have.

I cannot say enough about this place.Sometimes I come in just for the coffee. How many places can you order a machiatto, and, if it isnt perfect, they will happily remake it for you.

Chapters on Main is a wonderful store in Van Buren! With it being such a short drive from Fort Smith it is no doubt worth it to get the best coffee around plus more books than you can imagine.
