Love going in there. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The even bigger plus to me is that it seems like an old time hardware store. The associate named Reed has been the cashier I have gotten the last several times I have been there. She is super sweet and very pleasant.

I really like this store I was surprised so many people stopped and asked me if they could help me find something usually when I go into a hardware store I have to hunt down someone to help me! And they have everything you could possibly need there I was able to find things there that I couldnt find at the other large stores that are similar. I just wish they had more Ace hardware stores in more places across the country because they really are the best places you can go to find everything you need

So thankful for my hometown lumber and hardware store.

I once came here with my friends and they had free popcorn which was very exciting! They also have wooden stakes which are great for eliminating vampires for only a few cents. This ACE is dear to me because I have spent many hours here as a child with my father getting supplies for various projects m.

Did not have product I was hunting, but they were very helpful tonme.

I do not usually post or complain, but my shopping experience Sunday was not very pleasant. My cashier, Reed, was very helpful but due to an item that had been mispriced the whole experience turned into a very bad day. This isnt the first time Ive had this happen, but normally I just take the hit for some change and avoid the hassel. I dont like going to large corporate stores, but after this Im thinking it may be my only option.

I bought a Stihl MS251 and about 5 years later a Stihl MS250 chainsaw from Yaeger’s. The current manager, “Joe” and the Stihl technician “Colton” were absolutely great in customer satisfaction. I messed up, but they were super in getting my chainsaw repaired. I cannot recommend strongly enough this store and their lawn and garden Dept.

They have most if not all the stuff the big box stores have but you dont have to walk around for days trying to find someone to help you out. The staff generally knows what you are looking for even if you arent sure what its technically called. The lady at the Stihl desk seemed rude to another employee when I was purchasing a chainsaw. He asked for a key to unlock the chiansaws and she cracked off For what? You dont need a key there is a saw on the top shelf. She later explained herself to the employee which seemed to de-escalate the situation but you could tell it got the young man off guard. I have employees under me and I would think twice before cracking off like that. This may be the way they joke back and forth but I didnt get that vibe from the young man.

I needed a link for my chainsaw chain. I called ahead and the gentleman told me that they could fix me up. Upon arrival I went to the Stihl counter. The lady there was adamant that they did not have a link for my chain. I was adamant that I talked to a fellow that said he did. She called on the intercom. The fellow came forward and fixed me right up. Now they did service me. But it was such an unpleasant experience, that it reinforces my use of Amazon instead of using local retailers.

I appreciate the fact that they have contracts with local dealers. I love to buy cedar shavings that are bagged by a local craftsman. A few of the handmade furniture items are a bit pricey, but look very nice. The sales are decent, they have the ACE rewards program and free popcorn.

It was fine the only thing there lumber dept needs to change for some people they need to see firsthand the type and condition of the lumber to determine what exactly there needs are. I would say customers would appreciate seeing the lumber before having to pay for it and drive around to get it. But the employees are polite and friendly

Huge hardware store with great customer service. They have everything for both novice and professional contractors. They have a massive lumber yard and rent tools.

The store we visited is about 30 miles from where we live. We just happened to be coming through Van Buren and stopped at their store looking for a dog kennel. They had a few so we bought one. After we got it home and my husband got it almost put up he realized there was some bolts missing needed to hold it together. He had to do some southern engineering to make it work. I called them and told the manager just to make them aware and he offered us a credit for the next time we go there.
