Truckers and RV’s beware!This is the first Walmart store that has not allowed overnight stays!I always ask before parking.The lady didn’t hesitate to inform me very quickly NO!!! Very rude like!I travel through this area every week and have been stopping at this store to pickup items for the trip. (I transport RVs and am always looking for lighted safe places to stay).My daughter and her husband also utilize this store.Based on my experience from today, I will no longer use this store as a stopping, shopping location.I am sure daughter and her husband will do the same.My advice to other people, Stay Away!!! There are other locations to shop!

Downright rude & ignorant employees in middle management all around. Acting like we waste the self checkout employees time needing bags restocked or just issues w/ self checkout. . Too busy chatting with coworkers!!, They dont even stop their conversations and act as they I interrupted?? used grocery pick up and each time I ordered produce it was garbage. Half rotten red onion?? Pay attention! Employees stocking and collecting grocery orders talking on hands free telephone ear piece things with friends/family? Gossipping!

This is a great walmart. Sadly all the dirty nasty truck drivers managed to get trucks forbidden here. Kudos to you walmart. Im a truck driver very respectful but I know where your coming from i park up the road and still patronize this location

Not many cashier lanes open today, just two, mostly self check out. Last week I stopped by and there were no cashier lanes open and long lines for self check out. Store was clean. They were out of about 25% of my grocery list, and not many vegan specialty items available. Fresh produce looked nice. Prices are good as a comparable to other stores in the area.

Worked out great this visit. Actually picked up new 4x shirts. All locations need to stock more 4x size clothing. Shirts to be exact. Lots of over sized peeps out here needin them.

This is one of best Walmarts that I have been in. Clean. Well stocked. Perishable looked fresh. Bakery had a good selection.

Well nothing good about van wert walmart, cuz they NEVER have their shelves stocked at all, stuff that says its in the store at certain isles isnt even on the shelves nor in their store like it says!! So if I could give zero stars I would

I’m a trucker and just wanted to stock up on groceries and supplies for the upcoming month on the road, probably $300 worth. “No semi parking” signs and cart returns everywhere. Biggest FU I’ve ever seen. I understand the hate towards truckers, I hate them too. But to completely ban us from stopping for food??? Just remember we’re humans too!! So FU too Van Wert!

Truck Parking galore..! This Walmart is AWESOME!! Its essentially a truck stop. Truck parking out front and space in the back also. I wish every Walmart was like this. Inside the store, is the typical Walmart experience youre familiar with.

The shelves are bare and only have half the things I need. The walmart shoppers that do the pick up orders have no courtesy for the indoor shoppers. Store is typically clean and organized which aint hard when there us nothing on the shelves.

This specific location has helpful staff. Even when theyre busy, they will ask if I need help finding something sometimes and I really appreciate it. 4 starts due to the fact that the self check out lines are always so long and there will be maybe one cashier open. Normally this wouldnt bother me, but with the worlds current situation (the pandemic), the hours are shortened to only being open until 10 pm. This means more people are getting there shopping done at one time and there are not many checkout options available.Grocery pickup is available at this location and is a pretty nice option.

Always have everything you need at great prices. Wish the isles werent so full of bins

Always packed with people and the lines are always way to long and the self check outs are also way to long and you always have to get help even though you scanned your stuff right.

This store was definitely clean. There were workers trying to restock for Easter, as well as clean and pick up out of place items. They had the most efficient self check out that I have ever experienced. My inner child definitely came out seeing the updated system!!

Its Wal-Mart. Whats to say?I buy only what is necessary here because I now have to check myself out & I wont be getting $$$ to check out 100$ worth of groceries. Not doing it.We can easily go somewhere that appreciates the sale enough to treat their customers as valuable assets. Walmart was a novelty. A thing.Its day is rounding out.The lack of employees checking customers out shows what they think of the American people themselves. Dont waste your valuable purchases needlessly on companies that treat people this way.

Was very disappointed with all of the no semi trucksThose guys keep this country moving and sacrifice alot of family and home time to be sure America including Walmart have all of lifes necessities and they should be allowed to park at any Walmart and come in to shop or just simply get some rest before the next long day of driving.Also I just wasnt happy with my experience in store.

I will never have a decent opinion of this store. Its so mis-managed. I showed up at opening to grab a freshly released game.I had to wait at least 20 min for the employee to grab his cash drawer.Is it too much to ask that youre ready by the time you open doors?And the game, which was supposed to be on shelves this morning, Im told they dont have it in. Terrible

Had my receipt but still refused a return or my money back because it had a yellow clearance sticker. NEW RULES WALMART? MAYBE THEY SHOULD LET CUSTOMERS KNOW AHEAD OF PURCHASE THAT THE RULES CHANGED

One of the cleanest Walmart’s I have ever been in that’s why I gave them two stars. The checkout process is completely dependent upon staff. My first visit- Great the two after a little worse than terrible the staff wearing yellow jackets are rude, rolling eyes, complaining about volume of people. I purchased beer as we are traveling I scanned it first waited after scanning a entire cart of items (300.00 plus dollars) and FINALLY came over to scan- never spoke rolled her eyes and walked off as I was putting bags up. Definitely a great self check out processJust some days it’s frustrating after bagging not complaining then listening to staff complain and huff and puff.

All of the check out lanes are self serve except 2. If you have more than 144 items it quits ringing your items up. No one around to help, prices are high, keep going up and long lines for staff to check your items out. Throw in handicapped people that have enough problems without having to wait in the long lines and you have a greedy corporation. Everyone working at this Walmart are very nice.

The problem is that they dont put things in the proper place. For example I needed iron out and it should be in cleaning supplies and finally found it over on the other side of the store in paint department.They need to go back to college again and pay attention this time!!

They are changing too much stuff. & I dont like al) the self checkouts & 2 regular checkouts in middle of all the self checkouts.

Ok, we all know what Walmart looks like and we know what to expect. Thats what we love about Walmart and this one delivered. But I will say that this Walmart is newer or newly remodeled. A few things we super appreciated were the self checkout areas with bigger bagging stations and the convenient grab and go section with cold drinks and snacks. If in the area, dont hesitate to check this one out.

Everything in place even the prices were right, good atmosphere

Was in Fl for 6 months and I got back a few days ago so first place I had to go was the grocery. This is one of the two places I shop in this area but I think I’m done with this one unless I only need a couple things! Only 4 regular check outs and the rest are self check out! I had to stand in line forever because there was only two cashiers ringing orders, worse than before for waiting! A number of things I wanted they didn’t have so for me I will not use this place for groceries like I have in past because i WILL NOT self check out, EVER! I don’t get paid to do what they expect! I’m not shopping, then checking out myself and bagging everything to go to my car and still unload my cart THEN take it home and do everything I usually do! There are still small local stores and ordering online!

Everything youd expect in Walmart as usual except all the employees I met were locals from the area with that kind southern hospitality you can only find in small town areas. How could I have anything bad to say about that?

Wal mart should be shut down for how they treat employees, and the fact that in any new walmart, they are almost all self checkout except for 2 short conveyor cash register lanes..........how many more part time employees does walmart want to get rid of? Definitley not the store the walton family created..... they should be shut down for sure

Thank you, thank you..... We blew a tire on Saturday night and had to stay in Van Wert because we didnt have a spare. We bought the van two days earlier and didnt realize there was no spare. The gentleman in automotive opened at 9am and had us on the road before 10am. My wife and I really appreciated the help we got.

The shelves are always empty, and they have raised prices terribly, no price matching and we have no competition, and they wonder why people dont shop local,, l would rather go to Celina Walmart...the prices are better and shelves are full.

I ordered online and my items were ready when I arrived and they put in my car. I love this service!

This Walmart used to be the most truck friendly store in country. Now its all plastered with ABSOLUTELY NO TRUCKS signs. I guess they didnt like trucks outnumbering cars on their lot

The Price Match policy is absolutely RIDICULOUS! Not price matching their own store is beyond me and refusing to price match a store thats within a few miles is even more frustrating. Walmart has ZERO customer service and they are all about PROFIT and could care less how many customers they screw over while in the process. Treating someone that is a Pillar of the community in any rude fashion is absolutely disgusting. I understand the employees are Following the Policy however the policy is criminal. The way they have brainwashed their employees is even more horrific. The assistant manager & a department manager I spoke with for nearly an hour were polite and seemed to understand my frustrations with this policy but are clearly uneducated on the severity of this type of criminal mindset. No wonder Walmart has such a bad reputation & people hate the company. The Good Things this company does is NOT for the good of the communities but rather a Tax Write Off for their bottom line. The woman at customer service who first greeted me should be fired immediately for her bad attitude and lack of understanding the situation especially. Im a very educated person whom was speaking with facts rather than emotions. Ill be following up Tuesday with the regional manager and the policy writers at corporate.

On line inventory is off, showed it had many of the item I needed but in reality there were none. Got no help from staff as there was hardly anyone around. Also even if you didnt buy anything you have to go thru the check out lanes, only Walmart I have been to that does that. Will not be going back.

There should be more people open in more lanes. I dont want to bag my own groceries, I dont get paid to do that, nor do I get a discount when I have to check myself out.

This place is a nightmare! Every time you go in theres only 1 or 2 registers open even when its really busy. Nothing is ever in stock, and you have to wait in lines now even for self check out. I try to avoid it at all cost.

One of the most consistently messy Wal Mart stores that I have ever been in! With rude upper management. Ive overheard the way that current management speaks to some of there employees and it blew my mind.

Very convenient has everything you need, staffing is just not super helpful reccomend using the app before talking to the people there.

They need to stock their shelves better. If people are going to hoard some things, then whomever orders the stock needs to order double the supplies. That way stock people can keep up on supplying the store better.

Ive lived in this town for 8 years it was a really good Walmart when I first started using it. It is the worst. Im not sure whats going on there, they just need to close there doors you still cant even get toilet paper on the Shelf. The only thing you can find is cheap stuff that your finger goes through, or 30 rolls of toilet paper, and who can afford to buy that. The worst!! GO somewhere else if you have a chance. I go to Lima.

It was like walking into a government ran business where the customer does the work and you take the money just like the government.

Walked right in, found what I needed, and self checked out. Quickest trip to Walmart yet.

I guess they do their best but most of the time the shelves are empty of a lot of things. Friendly workers for the most part.

Produce section. Items seem to spoil quickly. Tomatoes get black moldy spots overnight but never become mushy.

9/6/2020. Went to get some general groceries and had enough to cover the bottom of a cart. Go to find an open checkout line and found only 2 were open including one of the self checkout areas. Self checkout had a line about 15 people long so we went to find a cashiered line which had an equally long line. Cashier was nice but very very slow, all the while 3 people were hanging out in customer service just chatting along. You would think there would be either both self checkout corrals open or more cashiers there to help.

Its wallyworld I just wish they gave me free stuff but cant complain they need to make money

This store needs a new manager. Jeff Welker did so much better keeping this store in shape. Jessica needs removed before the store falls into a hole. Nothing is ever stocked, she is giving employees lead jobs based on ambition rather than skill. Ive ordered things multiple times online to be picked up and they get canceled because she doesnt make sure things are ordered and stocked. Some of the employees are too lazy to even check the back properly. Its sad when Walmarts is the only store in town to pick up everything you need and you cant ever pick any of it up. Get a new manager store 1333 please.

Lines were flowing and customer service was excellent. I shop here regularly and I never have issues. The one stop shop for everything. I definitely recommend shopping here.

Walmart does what it can, because it is what it is. Lots of remodeling going on all the time, and inventory sitting around on pallets, but its usually maneuverable enough.

Bathrooms with dirty stuff in the aisles not even priced lot of things not priced employee standing around everyone seemed like they was working whats the people is picking orders

Staff is always friendly and helpful just seems like a really under staffed Walmart and because of that things are not always stocked and limes are always long. Feel bad for staff always see the same people doing multiple positions and dealing with customers that dont understand the employees at this store are working there tails off to keep up.

Nice to go early in the morning.

Oil change, tires rotated and wiper blades all done in less than a hour! Everyone was pleasant and courteous!

Oh if you have not tried the hot ham and cheese, you so need too! Ridiculously good. The food was hot and service on check.
