We shopped for new furniture at every store in a 30 mile radius of Vancouver. We couldnt find anything for the right price plus quality, until we arrived at Vancouver Woodworks. We purchased a bed frame, kitchen table, and dining stools for our first home. When our items came in the owner had great communication with us about the expected delivery. All good things worth having are worth the wait. Every person we interacted with was kind and professional. There was a blemish on one of the stools and Bruce was quick to get the stool repaired and delivered back very promptly. I couldnt be any happier. The pictures dont do it any justice. These pieces were perfect to gift ourselves for our house warming gift to ourselves. Support your local businesses people! Its worth it! Bruce and his team will treat you like the family you wish you had!

I’m super happy with my Sun Valley Dresser and experience I had with them. I was in the market for a well made wood dresser and I found exactly that. The staff is very friendly and had great communication throughout the process. Overall I would definitely recommend.

The staff here is very helpful without being pushy. Their products are very well made too. We bought book cases there and had a great experience and returned for our kitchen chairs. If we need anything else that is something they do, they will be at the top of our list of places to look. Be aware that you may have to wait a decent amount of time for your item (s) to be crafted for you. Its worth the wait though!

Great selection and if they dont have exactly what you want, they work with local builders who will take on some custom work. Prices are 100% on par with the junkie particle board furniture youd buy at some of the bigger box stores but what is sold here is solid wood. Best combination of price, value and quality within 200 miles.

My wife and I went here during Covid after buying our first home to get some hardwood furniture to replace our Ikea stuff for the first time. The staff were SO helpful, flexible, and knowledgeable - truly one of the best customer service experiences weve ever had, up to and including the installation. We LOVE all our pieces and look forward to having them around for many, many years to come!

I bought a fabulous desk and bedroom furniture from Vancouver Woodworks. I love the furniture. Great quality. They delivered and assembled my desk. They took great care with my furniture and house . I have gone back several times. Always treated with respect and care. Planning to go back again for 2 more. Pieces. Cant go wrong with service or quality only problem is the length of delivery caused by shipping problems caused by the virus. Worth the wait.

Great independent store (and with good prices)! I bought 2 Santa Fe rocking chairs from Bruce who took his time and was friendly, but I never felt pressured. He even held them until we moved into our new home. After purchasing them, I did an online search. I found the rockers elsewhere but nobody beat Bruces prices. I totally recommend Vancouver Woodworks.

Amazing quality and selection.

I will highly recommend Vancouver Woodworks to anyone! They are so welcoming and kind. I was shocked when they told me I could just rent out a chair to make sure it looked nice in my home free of charge. They let us pick up our furniture from the store so we did not have to pay for the shipping fee and they even loaded it into our car for us! And to top it all off, they even sent us a thank you card. Their selection is beautiful and the prices were a lot lower than I would expect from a local store. I am very happy with the customer service this place provides!

We ordered a solid cherry dining room table from Vancouver Woodworks. We had to wait about three months for delivery, and it was well worth the wait. The table, made by an Amish company, is beautiful and as solid as a rock. We love it, and we will return to Vancouver Woodworks for other wood furniture. This is a great place to buy furniture. The products are quality solid wood and not the cheap laminates seen elsewhere. The prices for the good stuff are the same or not much more than the bad stuff. The owners are very courteous, efficient and want the best for their customers. Service is terrific. Delivery is smooth. Basically, this is a great place to buy wood furniture. You wont be disappointed.

Solid 5 stars for this solid wood furniture and its solid owners. After reading google reviews on many furniture stores in Vancouver and Portland, we added this store to our list. We went there first and never went anyplace else. It’s a family business, run by Bruce and Kate, with assists from other members of their family. I was interested in a set that was not in the showroom, so Bruce ordered a nightstand in the collection so I could see it. When it came, I ordered the whole set, with a modest down payment. Bruce then kept in touch with me every week to let me know the status of my order. The set was delivered today by the owners’ son, even earlier than they promised it. They provided very fast, white glove installation, and we couldn’t be happier with the whole process. We will definitely be repeat customers.

Bought a fantastic table here. From sales to delivery and install the experience was pleasant and professional. I lost all the hardware for table a while back and they even gave me free replacements.

The furniture here is absolutely beautiful. It was a wonderful place to browse around. The people who run it were very relaxed and nice, not all hovery or pushy. Just there to answer questions if you had any, and they did it quickly and pleasantly. There is a fair price range there, and I was at the lower end, but even down there it was solid wood furniture. And it doesnt cost much more than the stuff youd find at an assemble-it-yourself place like Ikea. The sky is the limit, of course, and I could have spent thousands there!

Super conscientious owners with a large showroom holding a lots of options. This is not Ikea.. no laminate particle board allowed! We bought a table and chairs there. Totally recommend them.

I bought a bed, dresser, and nightstands from them back in 2013. The other day, when we were replacing our floors, we had to move our bed and couldnt get it back together. I went down to Vancouver Woodworks today to get some help. The guy who sold us the set was still working there! He pulled our file, found the model of the bed (which they still sold), and came up to my house to fix it for a very reasonable fee. When we buy a bed and chest of drawers to finish our guest room, well be coming back to Vancouver Woodworks. These guys are very professional and have amazing customer service.

Over the years I have purchased a Sleigh Bed, 2 sets of Bunk Beds, and a Buffet at Vancouver Woodworks. The quality of these beautiful solid wood furniture pieces is only exceeded by the quality of the Service from the Lyons family. Yesterday, I had a major crisis! The movers refused to disassemble the Bunk Bed and I had neither the strength nor the knowledge to do it myself, so in desperation I called Vancouver Woodworks. Bruce dropped everything and was at my house in about 15 minutes. Thank God for Bruce as there was no way to get the bed out of its room without disassembly. Yes, Virginia, there was a very reasonable charge for this unusual service, but I did take the man away from his business for about an hour with absolutely no notice. Thanks Mr & Mrs Lyon for all your help.

My only qalm if I had any was the time from ordering to the time of delivery. However, that being said they made sure I was well aware of the time of delivery before hand. The delivery was also well conducted and they made sure the fruniture was in good condition as well as fuctioning as advertsied. I am very impressed and will return for other fruniture needs. This local bussiness is 100% worth your time.
