Beyond Impressed with this shop. I had to cancel my archery lessons due to a personal issue, and they bent over backwards to accommodate me. I was expecting some pushback when I requested a refund for the unused classes, but I received absolutely zero negativity. Instead, they were super empathetic and offered several solutions (one included a refund), and we eventually landed on another option that would allow me to continue using their facility. Jason helped me over the phone, and he seemed very adamant about making sure that I could learn the art of archery. I ended up buying some arrows and other equipment and will follow up on an alternative plan to shoot. Again, I was not expecting this level of customer service, so I will absolutely recommend them to others.

This is a wonderful archery shop. They did a fantastic job setting up my bow, and the arrows the built for me are perfect.

One of my 10 year old’s favorite places! Friendly helpful staff and all the gear you could need to get started! Definitely call ahead - they often have classes and no lanes available but it’s a good time and a great way to try out archery!

Great experience. Very helpful and friendly staff. I purchased a bow from another retailer a few years back and never had it properly set up for my draw length. When I brought the bow in to AW, the employee (James) was extremely helpful and took my measurements. Even though I didnt purchase the bow at AW, he went above and beyond to help me without the pressure of buying anything. In a society that seems to have lost the value of customer service, its refreshing to see that there are still businesses out there who havent. Archery World will be my new Go To.

My son and I had a hour to kill. (Dog was getting groomed) Two years ago on March 21 2015 we went in and rented a bow for a hour. The store employee was helping get my son dialed in. The employee said, Hey he is a pretty good shot! I bought him a bow package and his shooting level improved enough over the next few months to step up on a target bow.Then we hear about the Vegas shot in Las Vegas. I threw him under the bus. These are some of the top kids around the world competing in this event. He shot for two days and set personal best both days! The sport of archery has changed our lives and has helped my son mix with other people in the sport of all ages. This is a great place with top notch customer service.

Kind knowledgeable staff that go the extra mile!!! They always make sure you are ready for youre hunting season and or ready to compete in a indoor or outdoor shoot... Just remember this is the only pro shop in Vancouver.. It does get very busy around hunting season but they always try their best to get all the bows done as efficiently as possible!!!!

The guys in there are very informational and are willing to give out tips on their experiences of bow hunting. I go at least twice a week

The entire staff was very helpful, I barely knew anything about archery when I came in and they showed me everything I need to know. I left with a new bow and an annual pass to the indoor range.

I wanted to get my girlfriend a bow for christmas so we could enjoy shooting together. We went in and with Mackenzies help, got her a bow that she likes, and set it up on the day we went to pick it up. I am a range member and really like the 24-7 access in case I have a night of insomnia. Everyone has been nice and helpful.

Archery world has the best customer service out there. Just bought a hoyt torrex that they were eager to let me shoot (great bow by the way) and they were all around helpful. They even took time to critique my form as i tested the bow out.

I drove from Olympia, about 2 hours, based on reviews. I wanted a place that offered great customer service. I refuse to go-to Cabelas and the other big stores. I was buying my son a compound bow for his 15th birthday. I wanted him to be able to shoot a range of bows and have someone who knows the products, not just guessing or reading the back of the box to me like the big stores. We worked with Josiah and he was great. My son got to shoot several bows and helped him pickout all the parts he needed. I was happy we made the drive and will again when I get my bow in a few months.

They set me up with everything I needed and were very helpful and friendly. They even attached my accessories for me. Even the other customers were really kind and helped me improve my technique too! 18/10 would absolutely visit again

My kids and I took 2 lessons from Terry and we all feel comfortable with the basics. I bought equipment and felt like they werent trying to pressure me into higher cost equipment. Everyone has been pleasant and low key. Looking forward to our new hobby!

There are a variety of knowledge levels in the staff so just be sure to let them know exactly what youre looking for. If youre looking for highly technical info be willing to wait and talk to the right person. All the staff is willing to help and friendly. I did have to go to a different shop to find out why I was getting tears while paper tuning but I didnt wait for their advanced staff.

These guys are great! This past December I decided to get into archery and practice for the 2017 hunting season. I walked around many stores, and researched for many hours looking for what I wanted to get into. Then I went into Archery World on a whim and had a look around. By far, they have the best selection of bows in the area from all the major brands, and even some lesser known ones. I ended up getting my bow off of their used bow rack, and they never pressured me into buying a new one. Helped set it to my length, and set up the attachments. Before I did any shooting, I also took an hour lesson to get the basics down. Instructor was top notch and had me in good form in no time. Thanks guys!

I came in for the 1st time to by a bow for my son and we happened to get the owner to help us out she wasnt helpful at all Sold us a bow we werent happy with I think she just wanted to get rid of that bow. She Told us we had to get the bow fitted to fit My son, The next Day my son and I came in to get the bow fitted for him and we had got the other owner. He Wasnt a very nice guy and he lied to us So we left and came back a different day and we had gotten One of the staff members which were more helpful and nice We got The bow fitted and then we never went back.

I had a couple issues with my first visit to this store, but the owner very quickly got ahold of me to take care of the situation. They even had me come in before store hours to address the problems/concerns I was having. I left feeling much better about my purchases and more confident in my shooting. Thats truly some great customer service.

Decent place, bad with times and spendy Dropped my bow off 3 weeks ago. Said I’d have it back with new strings on it in 2 weeks max. Been 3 weeks now and they don’t even have my strings in yet. Gotta love over priced and slow. Cost $165 for a string you’d think they could get one faster than a month.

As a newbie to archery I came in to get some new arrows and ask questions. Even though they were fairly busy noth guys took time to talk to me about arrow choice. Lots of inventory and fair prices. This will be a new go to shop for me in the future.

Really cool archery shop. Most of the workers are well informed, but sometimes you still feel like they are in it for the sale.The knowledge is more geared for hunting, target shooters may need to do more of their own research for what works.

I went in looking to start learning archery. I knew vary little about bows. I told gentlemen there that I was new and he did a vary good job explaining things to me. I plan to go back to use there range and purchase a bow and arrows. From my experience so far they seem dedicated to help you, not just sell you things.

As long as this business is ran like it has been the last few years Ive been in there - I see it as the only real choice for a true Archery shop around. Customer service is really your only option in the Archery business to stay successful, because as I see it - everything can be purchased on line nowadays on the cheap. I got into Archery (for hunting) a few years back, and my first instinct was to purchase everything on-line to save some cash. I like supporting local businesses though, and it seems Joes shop is pretty family ran - and really good people. Kyle is amazing, nothing but good things to say about that guy. Really, really knows his stuff.Johnny goofed a few things up on my bow, so not really sad to see him gone - although he was super nice. Overall - great shop, great people, great knowledge, great customer service. Not really much else to be said.

My bow needed a quick fix. I called ahead of time and they were very accommodating. Went in during my lunch hour and was back to the office within the hour! Ive been guilty of hitting the big box outdoor stores for my accessories, but I really need to support this place as a local shop. They know their stuff!

Walked in on a whim with my grandson. Having been in business myself for several decades I know a thing or two about customer service. From the moment I opened the door I was made to feel welcomed. The staff asked a few questions and answered mine with deft expertise.I have purchased several bows along with the accessories necessary and plan on making archery a life long endeavor. I live in a very remote part of Alaska and recently wanted to get into archery. While visiting the sports show I spoke to many vendors and by far Joe at Archery World was above and beyond anyone else. Even though it was the end of the show, he took time to measure me, pick out the proper bow, and answer all my questions. He even opened his shop early the next day to fit me properly and sight in the bow.

Fun hangout for kids over 10 year old. The place has bow and arrow rental, location, and target for practice, at an affordable price. Classes offered on appointment, usually held after business hours.

Very kind and patient with a neophyte, one with no experience ever with a bow and arrow except as a child in the Philippines. Knowledgeable. Did not laugh that I had my bow strung backward, even though it was clearly a rookie mistake.

They repaired my Hoyt that had been worked on by another shop. My bow is shooting perfect now.

Love this place. Customer service is fantastic. I just bought the Samick Sage takedown 35#. they put the bear hair rest on the bow for me. showed me some awesome pointers on arrow flight. just a fantastic experience over all. Will definitely be back over and over for my archery needs.

I have taken both of the Nock Above archery classes they offer and highly recommend them to anyone wanting to try archery. I purchased my first bow here and use the shooting range weekly. Megan and Joe the owners, as well as their staff, are extremely knowledgable and only carry products they test and believe in. I have watched them take time with each customer to walk through products, compare, and give perspective.

I have been going to this shop for a few years and will never go anywhere else for my archery needs in the Portland and Vancouver metropolitan areas. I have gone to every bow shop in a 50 sq mi radius of Portland. I have primarily dealt with Kyle, but both Terry and Joe (owner) are also very knowledgeable and helpful. This is a great place for archers of all experience levels. You will never be spoken down to, there is never a dumb question, and there is always an open arms willingness to address any issues with your equipment. They have no idea what they are doing. Took my bow there twice once they tied my drop away to loose and this time they put a string on my bow and its way out of tune. They moved my d loop said that wasnt right and kinda just blew me off. Will never return to this place

Archery Worlds customer service is above and beyond what I expected. They have a 20 and 30 yard indoor range, classes for novice archers and a wide variety of accessories and archery Equipment.

Terrible service. Had bow restrung and it was all wrong. Sting rubbed until it frayed after they serviced it. Ended up spending $122 elsewhere to have another string installed.

Only open until 6pm on a weekday. That is not good customer service this day and age. I would rather drive to Tualatin and go to Archers Afield
