I love baxter probably the most out of all the parts stores. This location has excellent management. Its great going here because the people take pride in their work. This parts store is also your best bet if you are looking for things for a modified car. Its like the midwest auto value, but better. Go here for sure.
They had what I needed but they just stared at me instead of trying to help when it was obvious I need help. Kinda rude too
Extreme gratitude for Baxters. They were curious, fast, efficient, and correct on part needing to be replaced. Truck is much more responsive and in the process I corrected the poor job that my mechanics did on the way the part was mounted. It was almost falling out of the engine block. So again if you dont want to get screwed over get your auto parts from Baxters. They are the best.

My favorite parts store. Selection is great, including a small selection of auto paint and speed parts. Part counter staff has always been very helpful and knowledgeable. A little more expensive, but worth it.
Very knowledgeable about older vehicles and carry quality replacement parts. Id give them five stars but the hours in the evening are a little short for me. Otherwise they are definitely my go-to place for my 1965 Chevy C10 restoration project.

The store is not a repair station they are a parts store. I have been going there since they came to town. Have found the staff to be polite, professional and represent the company well. Have a younger staff in the past few months. They try to meet the needs of the customer.Store gets 2-3 delivery of parts a day, not parts in several days.

Literally not one employee on payroll knows anything about a 360 5.9 or Edelbrock intakes, they need to just relax and learn how to use the computer. very rude and short attitudes. Completely unqualified and unhelpful

Did not experience it as female friendly (possibly the reason?). I went for some stuff for a routine oil change. Both times I entered, I felt right from the get go that I was being treated as if I was an idiot working on my car for the first time. Ive probably done more oil changes then the person behind the counter helping me. The second trip was just a bad idea. First trip wasnt as bad since the employee quickly caught on I knew my brands and terminology. Not as lucky with the second one.

Called to order window deflectors so I could come pick them up in the store -as Ive done twice in the past at this place- and the guy who answered the phone asked If I could call back tomorrow because they were closing in 10 minutes... I guess this is why Amazon is doing so well!
I live in Tucson, AZ and wanted to buy a Tonneau Cover for my Son-In-Law. He lives in Vancouver, WA. I start my search first with Amazon to at least understand what the Market Price is. So, I call a place that advertises what I’m looking for and got a quote and they had it in stock. There would be no lowering of the quote as the manufacturer sets the price. It appears they are within market pricing. I found out that taxes are pretty high compared to Tucson. Ha.I also realized that Baxter Auto Parts is in Vancouver as well and gave them a call for price comparison. They too hold firm on the Unit Price, however, their install price was almost half of the competition. I was fortunate to get a great representative of the company and his name is Nick. I had a lot of questions as I was sitting in Tucson trying to pull off this surprise for a Christmas present. It started to get a little bit complicated and he informed me that it had to be installed in Portland. So now I’m intrigued about the sales tax as Portland doesn’t have them. I’m now think of dollar savings. He is very patient with me and explains why that doesn’t work (Vancouver orders and stocks the part but the install is in Portland). So, I understand that I will have to pay the taxes.I sit with this for a few days, I have time it is only November 20. On November 27 I discover that Amazon has pinged my account showing that what I had looked at a few days ago (The Tonneau Cover!!!) was now lower in price. I called Nick and ask if he can price match and told him the dollars. He said he had to call his boss. I feel like I’m on the TV show “Deal or No Deal.” He calls back they will match it and we consummate the deal and I receive a new Quote. This Nick was so great and he knew I was excited to buy this for Gordon.Oh, poor Nick, now this crazy lady in Tucson says she will give her credit card number in 4 days and would task the son in law to schedule the install in Portland. I was so excited with Nick being so nice and working with me that I couldn’t wait til Christmas to give it to Gordon. So, on Dec 5 (the day I put it on my credit card) Gordon got his Christmas early and had it installed Dec 6, 2018. Exciting for Gordon and Very much fun for me.I trust the owner (the Deal or No Deal guy) would give Nick a Christmas Bonus. It’s who is representing a company on the phone or the front desk that will get folks like me to write a Google/Yelp Review. Merry Christmas Nick and to Baxter Auto Parts. “PJ”
One of the best-stocked part stores in the Portland/Vancouver area.
Poor customer service, period! My wife stopped at this place this morning panickingly due to her cars wiper suddenly stop in down pouring rains. She suspected a blown wiper fuse and requested if anyone at the store could replace a bad fuse for her if she purchases one and simply she got denied. They told her they could replace wiper blades, but not a fuse and let her leave on down pouring rains without working wipers. She barely got to a close by service station and fuse was replaced. I just cant imagine how inconsidered and ignorant these peoples are at this place. Thank you very much for your NO COMMON SENSE SERVICE and I hope this comment help you to get you act together for better customer care in the future.
Saved me $40 on replacement taillight assembly compared to bid from repair place. I can wait for it to be ordered for that. And they install new wipers when you buy them there!

I see all the negative comments and think. Hmmm the Baxter employees are only human so they allowed like all humans to make mistakes. I think they do a good job.
Bought a couple tools from here and they did not work for the job I needed done so I returned them a couple days later due to work and all. The lady up front was trying to sandbag me on the return basically saying I just bought them to use them and returm them. No I returned them because if I am going to keep tools I do not need I will go buy quality wrenches. To me that was extremely disrespectful and this store will no longer see my business.

Called to get quote on belt and guy quoted me the highest price and wrong belt so let him know tht I think he was looking up wrong item cuz my belt needed online and everywhere else is a 13 dollar part not 60 guy hung up on me when told him tht I needed to ensure wasnt quoting me wrong item before ordering with him... how rude! Horrible customer service and other all manners, shame on u baxter! Learn some phn mannerisms then maybe will I purchase frm your sales team!
Its ok. They need to carry mandrel bends from us in stock. Made local for the locals. They are really missing the boat.
