New owners and far improved food quality. Give this place another try, if you havent been by since May. They still serve freshly made bagels and bagel sandwiches. Hawaiian themed breakfasts, with Kahlua pork on the menu. Yum!

Toasted everything bagel with chive cream cheese is a perfect start to this day. They even cut it in half both ways for tidy eating.

This is the company that make me like the bagel. The people inside are very nice and take care of you. The smell make me remember the bakery in France. If you like or dont like bagel you have to go because that company know what he doing.Congrats to the worker of last week, my teammates and me really appreciate you guys.

The new owners are great! Stopped in for a bagel sandwich and a cookie and was lucky to meet the new crew. They were very friendly and got my food out promptly. There is a great selection of choices and some of the best cookies!! It is under new management so stop by for a bagel or tasty treat!! Recommended!

Quick and friendly service. My bagel was delicious and really hit the spot today! The only bummer (still 5 star rating, though) was that these guys are closed weekends and federal holidays, meaning I can only score these bagels during the week. That makes me really sad

This place has the best bagels in town! What is rather sad though is that more people dont know them! The bagels are tender, fresh and heavenly. My favorite is the cinnamon raisin dusted with cinnamon sugar but their spicy bagels are great as well. The Supreme Eggel ham & cheese on an Everything bagel is the best breakfast bagel sandwich, savory, hot and delicious.I highly recommend this place - the owners are wonderful & friendly. Give them a try..

The new owners have added a Hawaiian menu and more breakfast items to the already great bagel menu. They also opened up the dining room for a more inviting atmosphere. Best of all they are really nice and friendly! Its has a great family feel to it now. Great job guys!

It was my first time there and the food I got was amazing. The people working were very friendly and place itself was really neat. I especially was surprised when I realized the metal work above the kitchen was a replica of the I-5 bridge.

Love the new owners and staff! Very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Endless selection of bagels and though the menu is smaller, more detail goes into each sandwich. Love the quality of food and generous portion size! I will be back for sure!

Food was good and pretty quick to arrive. The issue I have is that it was barely past noon and they had, maybe, 10 bagels left. 80 % of their sandwiches are on bagels and 1 of their 2 soups were not available. so it made for very limited choices.

I love their snickerdoodle bagels! We walk our dogs past this place everyday and the smell of fresh baked bagels is so enticing.

I have been coming here (Sunrise bagels.... old name) for many years Im glad to see that 808 Sunrise Cafe still offers the Eggel Supreme its the best breakfast sandwich Ive ever had. I cant wait to try the new Bagel Burger sounds like a great New Classic. They have a nice New Decor inside. Great service from new employees and Im glad the Republican theme is gone! They have a new hip cool environment to dine in downtown Vancouver come in check it out

808 Sunrise Deli catered our wedding and it was AMAZING! We had roasted chicken, pork, rice, mac salad, rolls, and other assorted salads. The entire staff worked extremely hard and they were all extremely professional and courteous. Great food at a great value with exceptional service!

Ok I want to say that the staff that took care of me was top notch! I also would like to say the bagel sandwich I ordered with my own modifications was delicious and made perfectly! My complaint is not about either of those things. The coffee not good!Get either Stump Town or Thatchers to supply the top notch coffee you need to make this place a success! Major let down. The other thing that was a disappointment was the decor. I was enticed by the warm sort or home grown decor with the black boards and plants that is on you main page when you google it. Make it look like that or take that photo down and get rid of the TV this is not a sports bar. you need music and maybe a few other items on the menu and You will have a stampeed of customers!!! This is a place Vancouver NEEDS! Put Starbucks out of business!!! Keep going you have the right idea!

Well, i went in with probably too high of expectations after grubbing at the Woodstock ate-oh-ate. I had the teriyaki chicken bowl. I got it back to the office, opened it up with anticipation, and,,,, it was ...okay... but the presentation was blah. A bowl of rice and some dried up chicken chunks. It wouldnt hurt to put a side of sauce in the bag or just a spoonful of steamed broc or carrots and less rice. If I had seen it first I would have said no way but i was starving. I wont get it again. I may go back but with trepidation. Theres not much around here to eat on a half hour lunch. Was really excited at first when I heard 808 : (

Their lox bagel sandwich, which I order on a toasted poppy seed bagel, improves my day by at least two orders of magnitude.

They forgot one of my bagels and did not toast them like I asked. Pretty hard to mess up an order of bagels imo. I definitely wont be returning.

Broke da mouth.... 808 Sunrise Deli is a perfect place to reminisce of the 808 islands sometimes for us Hawaiians called home. The staff were on point and more than generous. We will be back again.FYI.... The breakfast burritos are huge. So make sure if you not one Hawaiian braddah, must bring an appetite. 😀

Food was OK, had to send both bagel and breakfast bowl back to be fixed as they came out wrong. Disappointed in food overall. May not return, with new owners it seems like the change was not for the better. Hash browns we under cooked and bacon was over cooked. Price for breakfast bowl was more that what it was worth.

Cute place, bagles are the same as before so no change there. The added Hawaiian Menu is nice. My only complaint and it may seem petty but they have all these special sauces and sugars and coffee but they terrible off brand ketchup. It you can spring for the fancy hot sauces and raw suger how bout some Heinz. Otherwise no complaints. Also their vanilla chi in delicuous.
