So many selections of everything. Literally from wine, ciders, beers, liquor, mixers. You name it they will likely have it! Employees are always friendly and ask me if I need help finding something. The store is always clean and neat. You cant go wrong going in here!

My wife and I purchased two half Kegs from our local store in Olympia, WA for our wedding on July 31, 2021. This was one of the easiest parts of planning our wedding. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I was in and out with the pick up and the return with no issues with the deposit refunds for the buckets and tap. Thank you so much for a great experience. We will be back for sure!

Total Wine is a great place to get any form of alcohol. Period. This specific shop has been a great experience for me with some welcoming/helpful staff. I will say, however, that the beer selection is a bit sparse. I can find more unique beers elsewhere. This is still a great place to shop, and will remain a place I visit, but keep a lookout for bottle shops if youre interested in a unique selection of beer. As far as wine and hard alcohol goes, this place is great.

Service was good but cider selection wasn’t as good as I hoped. I really wanted ciders from Ciderboys but there were only two options. I was a little disappointed by that. Otherwise Total Wine was fine.

Theres a great selection of local and imported beers, whiskeys - scotch and Canadian. We found some great deals on the 1.75 Liter spirit bottles, even though theres a tax for liquor above one litter in Washington. We usually go here once or twice a month from Oregon and stock up on wines, spirits. Theres also a great variety of champagnes, ports and cigars. Do enough research before you go and you will definitely enjoy the visit to here. The staff recommendations are very helpful and excellent.

Best liquor store ever! John Kivlen was so helpful in finding the smoothest rye whisky for an old fashioned. He knows his stuff!

Has a huge selection of alcohol and lots of friendly staff ready to help you out with any questions or recommendations! My one gripe is for how large of a store this is, theres a lack of glasses. They have a few selections for wine glasses or stuff for whiskey, but nothing that would be good for cocktails, especially ones that would require ice or blending. Theres one shelf in the middle of the store that has their minimal glasses and other novelty items like wine glass markers, but I definitely left empty handed when looking for cocktail glasses. Oh well!

Overall a very good experience. They have a huge variety of everything. They have tons of things that you could even mix anything with. Along with tumblers, cocktail glasses, accessories, etc. They even have oranges, limes and lemons towards so you dont have to make another stop at another store. Join their rewards as well and get points when you entet in your phone number. They will sometimes have coupons as well!

Ran in around 8 PM on 12/22/20 to see if they had any Pliny the Elder in stock. When I asked a male employee (didnt get his name), he said they were out of it and to put a mask on. I told him I had a medical exemption. He then told me its store policy and I still had to put a mask on. I told him the ADA allows me to shop without a mask and that it also trumps any store policy Total Wine has.I walked away and picked out a few different beers, then made my way to the cashier stand, eager to get out of there. I was then approached by a female manager (didnt get her name) who told me in order to purchase my items, I had to put a mask on. I repeated I was medically exempt. She told me she knew the law and that Total Wine was private property, therefore she had the right to refuse service to me. I explained that yes its true she does have the right to refuse service to anyone...EXCEPT for reasons of creed, race, religion, sexual orientation, or medical. I went on to explain Total Wine is actually not private property, its a public accommodation and to look up Section 201 of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. You cannot refuse service to people not wearing masks--they are protected by the ADA. This also doesnt mean you can bypass by offering curbside pickup. You must allow everyone EQUAL ability to shop for themselves, mask or no mask.I told her I had been through this song-and-dance many times over the course of 2020 and I know my rights to the letter. I informed her its a $75,000 penalty if you discriminate against someone for a medical reason. The ADA was created for situations just like this. The government would jump at the chance to slap a $75,000 fine on Total Wine. She said she was willing to take that risk. Really?This power-trip manager was willing to die on the store policy hill when ultimately she is breaking the law and can be held personally liable. Its frightening how little these employees and their businesses know about the law. The mask mandates are just that--mandates. They are not laws and a store policy is certainly not above the ADA. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone is not a catch-all and it certainly doesnt give you a pass to violate the ADA. Its getting really old having to explain basic civil rights to people who think their store policies are the law of the land. This is America and we have rights here. Please do better, Total Wine.

Worst customer service!!!Gentlemen in front of me in line was carded, but ID was not scanned. I come up and she askes to scan my ID. I said no u can see everything u need without me pulling it out of my protective cover. She said its store policy to scan IDs yet she didnt scan the person infront of me. I left my drinks and walked out.Not coming back and definitely letting everyone know about my experience at total wine and more.

Lots of Variety and the staff is informative when asking questions. Was on a quest for Maple Whiskey but unfortunately they dont have it. Very organized and the visuals are nice there. I like how they have almost everything in there with the variety selections they have. They also have classes so when phase 4 happens I want to take a tasting class.

Im not a big wine gal, so whenever I go into these types of stores Im always a little nervous because I worry Ill be preyed upon by some smooth talking salesperson who is just trying sell me something expensive or gimmicky. Luckily that was not my experience this time around because a very sweet girl helped me out when I looked lost. She made me feel comfortable and was very knowledgeable despite me being vague on what I wanted and the store having a huge selection of choices. There were a few people in there including a loud and rude family, but the staff stayed calm and helpful and I really appreciate that. I walked away a happy buyer thanks to I think the girls name was Kayla, she had blonde hair and was very kind. Thank you again for a great experience!

Nice selection but if you live in Vancouver you buy your beverage products across the bridge in Portland, Oregon where theres no 50% liquor tax.

I have spent thousands of dollars (thats not an exaggeration) at this store. Today I asked if I could take one of the THOUSANDS boxes they have sitting on shelves. I was told no and to come back on Tuesday. I get it I guess, they save them on Saturday but Im in there every week multiple times a week and would think they valued the time and money I spend there enough to give me a cardboard box. Now that being said if you love line and selection and events or also accessories this is your place! They also have a great selection of beverages like sake and soju as well as other many imports. But if you are looking for a regular place to buy liquor, pdx liquor is 15 mins max away just over the bridge and everything is several dollars cheaper plus no tax. Also they have the same hours. I love this place just wish I could have gotten a box 😂

I came in looking for a wine..didnt know the name but only the description of what the bottle looked like and what it tasted like...the guy knew exactly what I was talking about and found the bottle of wine and said it started getting package differently so I would have never found it. I swear they are magicians that conjour up bottles of wine at whim!

I made a quick trip here 25 minutes before closing and most the staff I came across made it clear in either tone, looks, or body language that they werent thrilled I was there. An employee asked me what I was looking for, I told him, then he rattled it off so fast and without regard if I could even understand him that I just started down the isle he pointed at and walked while he was talking.I understand youre ready to go home, but its a routine you do everyday and customers that buy your items is why youre there. It literally took me maybe 3 minutes.Otherwise, the place seemed to have a great selection.I

This place is awesome. They have a huge selection of wines and craft beers. To me the prices seem good unlike places like BevMo. If you are in town looking to try something local, they have a large assortment of Pacific Northwest Craft Beers to purchase in one location which makes it great. Highly recommended.

Having never been here before I was blown away with the selection of different beers that they stock. The grocery store near my house had a Full Sail Citrus Maxima and the next time I went there they had stopped carrying it. I asked a gut stocking the cooler and he said check out Total Wine and Im glad I did, they carry Citrus Maxima. Im a happy gut now that I finally visited Total Wine.

Superb service, selection, and prices. Ive never been disappointed coming here to shop, save for the occasional obscure bottle being understandably missing from the shelf. That aside, for most selections there are multiple choices spread among an abundance of price points. Staff are helpful, friendly, and eager to offer their expert opinions. Not that its usually needed, as almost all the offerings and accompanied by an informative description of the products and even interesting trivia. Whether youre looking for a particular spirit, wanting to try something new, stocking up for a party or event, or just want to casually browse the aisles, Total Wine is hard to beat.

Kayla was unprofessional walking away twice from my transaction. Had the manager watch my whole family and I. Accused us of being intoxicated because one of us was laughing in the store. I have ADHD and I’m being discriminated against. They offered no apology. Brandon, Kayla and the manager with black hair and glasses disrespected my family and I. My experience here at 1404 was terrible. They discriminate people of all. Stay out of here.

While I am a huge fan of this chain the taxes levied in Washington state on alcohol is breathtaking. Still a great spot for hard-to-find liquors or beers but you had better be prepared to spend more than you were expecting (even if you checked their website ahead of time - Prices have fluctuated up to $30/fifth between what I saw online versus their price at the Vancouver location.)

Great place to buy overpriced liquor! Honestly its a nice store with friendly staff and a welcoming environment for your average customer. The price of the liquor is higher than some stores nearby however the large variety of stock and knowledgeable staff compensates for this.

The two-star rating is for the Thurston Way store, but I’m writing because that led me to the on line buying service, which was terrific.We recently opened a wine we’d bought at Costco some time ago, and we really liked it.Especially because I wanted to buy more than one bottle, and their web site showed it wasn’t available at my local store, but was in Olympia, I called the store to ask if they could get it shipped there. NO was the answer (before they hung up on me).I went back to the web site, where it was $2/bottle less, with $13 shipping to my house (for one bottle or six), ordered six and it came in the promised three days.I’ll be ordering on line in the future.

Very good selection. Well staffed who can answer basic questions. Figure out thr few experts who dont just say, Oh, this is a popular wine as if thats a valid reconmendation.

Overpriced. I spend less driving my V8 truck to Stateline, purchasing there, and driving back than what I would have to pay for a large bottle of bourbon here.

Selection is quite exstensive, and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They used to have tastings before the pandemic. The reward program is rewarding as well.
