Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff make shopping at this candy-store-for-bird-lovers a wonderful experience. And my backyard birds much prefer the no-mess bird food! I have more flying visitors every day.

Went there for advice on what to feed in our bird feeders. Got a lot of help without any pressure to buy. Very competent, friendly staff. Very large selections of anything remotely to do with birds. Definitely go there!

I have been looking for a small replacement part for a hummingbird feeder and they were the only place that had it! When walking into the store there is so much variety and quality items that I had not seen elsewhere. Staff was very helpful! I love this store!

This is the place to come for your bird supplies. It also has Mason bee equipment. There were decorative spinners, various ornaments, books, puzzles, decorative clocks, and more. Loads of eye candy.

If you are into birds, this store is a goto for sure. They have everything you can imagine and then some. I went in today to check out out and by doing so gave me a bunch of new ideas that I could incorporate at my home. Friendly and helpful staff of birdlovers too. They have an outside viewing area in back of the store that showed off some of what they sell and there proved their stuff brings the birds in. There were a ton to see while I was there. Will go back for sure.

This place was amazing! A few months into the pandemic, we started bird watching from our back yard. Since then, weve gotten supplies from other box stores -- bird feeders, food, etc. But no one has the experience, the selection, and knowledge that the folks at Backyard Bird Shop have. Deb, who is retired, helped us identify birds weve taken pictures of and got us hooked up with high-quality, but cost-effective, food for our feathered friends. Thank you Backyard Bird Shop!

Absolutely love their No Waste Bird Seed, and so do the birds!!! The birds will toss out the seeds they dont like with commercial seeds. I was going through commercial seed really quickly and it adds up! The No Waste lasts a lot longer and its more cost-effective.

Back Yard Bird Shop has almost everything you need to feed and provide houses for critters in your yard. Birds, bats, squirrels, beneficial insects, etc. Prices are high however, you can usually find the same stuff online cheaper. However the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable, which makes it worth the money if you need the guidance. If youre buying something you already know though, better to just get it on Amazon or somewhere else online. Great place to go to see what options are available to solve a particular problem such as keeping squirrels out of your bird feeder.

I love this store so much, its my happy place. My favorite is that they have bird seed in bulk to eliminate wasteful plastic packaging. Everyone is extremely informed and helpful. I always spend way too much money here.

This place is amazing! They have so many different things for your backyard! They have tons of different type of bird feeders, bird food, hooks, bird houses, bird baths, etc. in all different price ranges. And the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly! They always know the answer to our questions and take the time to help us. The store also has other gift and household items that would be pleasing to anyone, even if they dont like birds. It is definitely worth checking them out!

When I found the Backyard Bird Shop, I was pleasantly surprised by all the interesting and unusual items that they had for sale. As it turns out, I went back before Christmas and (with a little help from the staff) found all sorts of good gifts for both inside the house and out in the yard. A very positive experience.

Staff here is very knowledgeable and kind. Their customer service is phenomenal! They have a number of locations throughout the Portland Metro area.
