Love it. One of the better coffee’s I think I had. No disrespect to the other places, nexuses I have about 5 more places I would love to check out. But they will not let you down. I did the latte with a shot of espresso and WOW! Filled to the top, and just great. Very friendly staff.

Stopped in for a latte. Discovered a quaint coffee shop that has plenty to choose from both on their menu and in their whole bean selection. The gentleman working was wondering helping me choose two different varieties and made a delicious tasting drink. Got a kick out of seeing these two awesome grinders sitting there as I have the Encore myself.

Greatly enjoyed my simple cappuccino while visiting this spot in Vancouver. They have some sheltered seating around the corner in addition to a couple small tables out in the front and inside along the widows. Calm staff, yummy coffee, and I really appreciate the sustainability effort with the cups being used. Will definitely come again!

I am visiting on work and this cute little coffee shop has been my go to all week! Really yummy coffee, especially if you choose a pour over single origin (the Ethiopia-Columbia hit it out of the park), but even the drip is top notch; you can tell they put care into their product. Def recommend.

They have really good chai in my opinion. The female manager hooked me up with a mask when I thought I had accidentally left mine at home. I’m not always awake in the morning, sometimes forget to check for my mask, and that small act of kindness stood out. I know it’s not their responsibility and they are just following the rules. Also the taller barista with the tattoos is extremely kind, fixed my chai/milk ratios because I kind of like it spicy. Overall accommodating, coffee shop is cute, good place to read and work remotely. I’m a fan.

Im addicted to lavender so I had to try their lavender latte. The biodegradable cup and lid is a huge plus in my book.

Just got a latte to go, but it was really good. Guy working was friendly. Prices were on par with everywhere else. Cool atmosphere.

Compass Coffee is heaven if youre looking for an experience thats more focused on taste and quality than fluff and fancy flavors. Youll find a very streamlined drink menu. As always here, service was quick and super pleasant, everyone in the place was playing it safe covid-wise, and it was spotless. I had a breve, and it was exceptional. No bitterness, excellent flavor, perfect.

Friendly service and decent coffee. The interior has an unpretentiously airy vibe. I had a short nonetheless nice chat with the barista who made me feel welcome as a non-local.

After dealing with the attitude of the barista who I placed my order with, My 7 year urgently needed to used them restroom and as he walks in barista (Guill?) yelled and said that he wasn’t allow to use it with no exact reason but “We are a public place and we are allow to close the restroom.Horrible experience my boy feel guilty because he thinks he is responsible for making the whole commotion.Good coffee, but Never Never good service.

Great experience at Compass Coffee. The earl grey latte was delicious! It had an earthy, floral sweetness with a bit of citrus from the orange oil. There were plenty of tables to choose from and the atmosphere was busy but not very loud or overwhelming. It was a good place to get a coffee. overall is good

Very good vanilla latte. And a nice ham and cheese croissant.

Walked in and couldnt see a menu, asked for a menu and they pointed to there specials and some code thing. Didnt have my phone so I just ordered a mocha. $7 later I can see why they dont have a menu up! $7 for something that takes 3 minutes to make and you want a tip on top of that. No. I know the minimum wage is going up to $15 an hour however doesnt give a coffee shop a reason to charge that much for a mocha. No change in milk or anything extra. On top of it there were four people working there when it wasnt even busy.

This was my first time at this location. My daughter ordered the peppermint mocha and I ordered the ginger spice muscavado latte. We both really enjoyed our drinks. I also ordered a gallon and a half of coffee to go and they were happy to oblige.

Awesome, well-lit space with reliable wifi and of course, good coffee. Had the pleasure of getting some work done here.

This is one of the citys most excellent coffee stores. They have the most comfortable and cute sofas that any other coffee shop has ever had. We still kept our meetings with our bosses here, because they also had the most elegant and trendy atmosphere, apart from the best tasting coffee and yummiest croissant. Ill be back again and next time, Ill get their muffin.

I tried their white chocolate latte with rose peddles, and it was amazing. I love Compass Coffee! I had a friend visit and they told me it is their favorite coffee shop in the whole area. The people are personable and friendly. You won’t regret it!

Absolutely the best decaf anywhere. Light to medium roast, full complex flavor and no way to tell it’s decaf other than you don’t get the jittersAlways friendly people, knowledgeable about coffee and huge variety of fresh and local roasted coffees.

Compass is hands down my favorite coffee shop in Vancouver. Excellent coffee, conscientious and intentional baristas, pleasant and welcoming atmosphere... whats not to love?

This is a very nice coffee shop. The shop has a great relaxing environment and brings a big feeling to a little city. I would recommend this coffee place for coffee. I also like that they create art with the coffee. To me that just brings them to a higher level coffee shop.

I came here not really knowing what I wanted so all I asked for was something sorta sweet as soon as I said that I though I was going to get something covered in Carmel but to my surprise I got something sorta sweet. Absolutely nailed it. Ive litterally never been happier with a coffee.

Wow. I got fully utterly and completely pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegan and gf pastry options. The italian sausage calzone (yup its vegan too) was my absolute favorite! And the masala chai that they make in house is the best Ive ever tried anywhere outside my own kitchen. Love love love!!!

I really like my dark chocolate mocha. It was not as sweet as some other places. Just like a mocha should be. The atmosphere was relaxing and quiet. The place was organized and clean.

Where all the hip kids in Vancouver hang out apparently. Cool decor and some really interesting drink options, including a turmeric chai latte, which was superb over ice. Skip the Starbucks around the corner and support local business.

Decaf espresso was good. However, I politely ask: To please be considerate to the customer by conveniently placing the room count policy sign on the door. Especially if the line starts outside at a considerable distance, having it be out of view (perhaps placing it below or above the masks required sign).

This is my favorite coffee shop in Vancouver! Coffee is always fantastic. I love how they’ve been teaming up with charities and doing different drinks with some proceeds going to them. I can always find something fun and new or stick with my good ol iced vanilla oat milk latte. Customer service is always top notch, the staff is super friendly and conversational.Also they offer growlers of cold brew that I always have full at my house for some at home coffee.

2 stars because their coffee was super satisfying, but their two employees this morning who ‘served’ me and my friend had awful service skills and lacked communication.Spent around $20 for two tasty coffees and a nice tip. Super disappointed that my name was not called out or was told that my coffees were ready at the coffee bar.This was mine and my friends first visit to this coffee shop.We both looked at each other confused and wondered why our drinks were taking so long... when we noticed the employees weren’t busy and on their personal phones we decided to get up from our table across the room and were told that was our drinks on the counter. They both were WARM for sitting so long.Would have been nice to be alerted that our drinks were ready or even brought over to us. Disappointed big time.

Not my favorite place in town but pretty good coffee. They make their own syrups that are significantly better than what you’d get from an espresso stand. It seems like they’re trying to save money by under staffing. It’s not uncommon to have a 15-20 minute wait between the line and waiting for drinks.

Look, I just love Compass, okay you guys? They always have delicious gluten free nibbles, and REALLY GOOD non-coffee beverages, both of which are important when you cant have coffee or gluten. Plus its a great atmosphere with good service and properly prepared drinks.

Been drinking Compass since 2008. Theyre simply amazing. My girlfriend who doesnt usually drink any coffee without flavors or sweeteners always steals a sip of mine, just a plain latte, and remarks how pleasant it is. (Yeah she orders a Muscovado latte anyway.) Definitely my favorite Vancouver roaster.

Honestly I had a bad experience about a year ago but I feel like theyve either improved or maybe it was an off day. I think his name is Andrew, but he makes the best lattes ever. he wasnt there the most recent time and I was honestly sad, it didnt taste the same. but theyre amazing anywho

Great coffee place! They have interesting monthly drinks that are great to try if you are adventurous! They have some pastries as well and kombucha. Their interior is so nice as well! There is a cozy vibe that makes the coffee experience even better. Its quiet enough to study or talk with friends! Will definitely be coming again!

Quick, and both times I attended, decent coffee. I prefer Carmel flavor. They make it in house and is peanut free for those that are concerned huge plus for me!Was a Tad on the sweet side but not quite too much. Could be just as good with a little less sugarCoffee flavor was not bad or overly roasted or BITTER THANK YOU! You have not conditioned the populace to think burnt coffee is good (Starbucks)!This was tasty and real coffee the way it was meant to be enjoyed!I would like to try other roasts and see if I can taste a difference.Needless to say My curiosity is PIQUED! I will try them a 3rd or 4th time!

This is my favorite coffee in all the lands. One small cup is all I need, but I often have more because I love the taste. I have the beans at home and highly recommend a french press.

This place is perfect! All I expect from a great place to have coffee or tea. Alone or with friends. Great ambience and options to look around or work on the laptop. The drinks are at the higher end. But great taste.

While looking for a good cup of coffee on our road trips we always support the locals. Today was a little different than we’re used to, in that we had to wait in line outside to respect their “social distancing” order. We ordered 2 hot mochas and they were not as strong as we are used to. Had hoped to give more stars based on the other reviews we saw. Just ok.

The barista did a beautiful heart (not uncommon) on moms mocha and a fantastically Dry cappuccino! Ive had many that were more like lattes. He understood what I like and delivered. Great service.

It is one of the easiest ways to get that Portland cafe experience without crossing the river.The inside is nice and spacious. Dog friendly and clean. Coffee is high quality. Being in downtown Vancouver means cheap and easy parking. Free parking on Sunday. Also it is very close to the farmers market.A must try for Vancouver locals on weekend mornings.

Trendy but cozy little spot. Good buzz, variety of clientele. I had an unsweetened mocha with oat milk, my sister had a lavender latte. They were both delicious. Will definitely be back.

I used to frequent this shop and met someone there for a meeting, recently and I was disappointed. The lady in front of me was treated as an inconvenience, which surprised me. Then when I asked for their holiday syrup of pine and rosemary in my Matcha latte, I was told they couldnt do it...it was only used in one specific drink. Really? Even Starbucks will customize an order, if they have the products. The holiday decorations were beautiful...but service was less than expected.

Nice staff, great tea and coffee! My only wish is a little bit louder ambient noise for discussing things in regards to spatial awareness for others. But ultimately I gave it a five-star because it deserves it, I recommend Compass to anybody looking for a good place to get coffee or tea

One of the best coffee shops in Vancouver. Charming environment with well made drinks and friendly staff. Very over priced though. Brewed (nearby) also has great quality drinks at a much better price.
