On Oct. 28 I experienced very rude treatment from an employee. Subsequently I called the store and spoke to someone. That person apologized to me and explained the person was in training. The in training person was alone at a cashier station. So who was training her?I feel very differently about using this Office Max. That in training person should apologize to me. But that will not happen. I guess people are hired on the basis of being able to stand up. I am looking for an alternative office store.
Henry in the Print Dept provided exceptional customer service by going above and beyond to meet my needs when I had a time critical request during the closing hours of the store! Thanks again and I will definitely be referring friends to the store.
Horrible and VERY slow service. I waited 20 minutes to talk to someone in the printing center and no one acknowledged me or even bothered to say “we will be with you” left and went to UPS instead. First time at this store and definitely last.
I wasn’t aware OfficeMax offered computer repair, so I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to look at it and fix it right away! Lee was such an amazing help and I recommend him/this store to anyone who doesn’t want to wait a week for geek squad to diagnose your computer and charge an insane amount to do so.THANK YOU LEE!!

I didnt have a mask to wear inside so I purchased a copy in my car. The copy I wanted copied said it would be ready the following day. I needed the copy right away. I called the store from my car and asked if it was possible to print it out today. They said sure and I had my copy in less then 5 minutes. I was super happy about it. Thank you guys for helping me out!
Went in for a HDMI cord and wasnt expecting to have the Best computer advice ever. Lee was not only helpful, but kind and understanding. He took the time to do a carry out, help me and assist the cashier with multiple questions. Great multitasking. Office Max also has a $130 computer repair service that is Awesome! Thanks again Lee for taking the worries away and making it seamless. I also want to add the printing department did a Wonderful job with all my projects over the last year. They were very patient and fast. I highly recommend this location.
The employees here are always super helpful, and their selection of products is outstanding. Everyone here is so calm, the store is very well organized, and the last time I went I ended up buying a box that was far too large for the items I needed to ship (because they could fit in kind of diagonally instead of flat at the bottom) and the person at the register was incredibly nice about doing the exchange with no fuss.
Went to get a printer, told then I needed it by Friday if I was going to order one online, they guaranteed Id have it by Friday and it didnt come until Monday. I was extremely irritated since I needed to print out college papers, and I told then I could purchase one somewhere else if it couldnt come on time. Extremely disappointed in this location.
Absolutely the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. Both of the men working there at 520pm on Apr 21 were extremely rude. One proceeded to tell me he was off the clock when I asked for assistance, followed by a strange shh hand gesture as he walked away. The other was quite aggressive, randomly turning around 180 degrees to tell me hed be right with me as soon as I was finished crawling up on him. A few addifional words were exchanged until he decided to turn back around and further assist a lady who was appalled at the mans attitude and demeanor; she relayed to me moments later.Although i did not see these peoples names, hopefully they can be identified given the date and time. Additional customer service training should be considered for these folks. Yikes.

Excellent placement of handicap parking and easy access, the store has many very courteous and helpful sales associates.I was immediately greeted and assisted in finding the best price on a 32 gig micro sd card..While the particularly sale I got it under only lasted a short time, they have quite a few very affordable products and electronics, ranging anywhere from coffee and creamer through office supplies. Electronics, art supplies and even office furniture in several styles.They are also very willing to price match any major competitor... so if you find a better price, they can match or even beat it.

Managers dont know much/any information about the products they sell. They dont know the difference between 2 similar products and then blamed their gross lack of basic knowledge of their product base on me for asking questions that are too specific. These workers and especially MANAGEMENT need better training of the store products. And better handling of customer service such as if you dont know something a customer asks about your product GO FIND OUT!! Never shopping at Office Max again.
Service was helpful at the service center. I couldn’t give a five star because the bathrooms were unsanitary and terrifying, in addition no toilet paper was on hand.

Smaller than many other OfficeMax stores, but they usually have what I need. Its easy to make a quick trip here when I need something. Good employees.
Great, prompt service. Nicely stocked shelves. The young man who greated me, helped me find what I wanted/needed very quickly, answered my questions/concerns. The Cashier was very friendly as well. I was very happy with the service at OfficeMax today!

Convenient location and good selection of office supplies
They had a discount basket for $.025. I though a few items looked like I could use them. When I was checking out, I noticed my total to be at least twice what it should have so I questioned the clerk. He offered to discount it to $.025. I explained it was already was supposed to be discounted and they in essence and reality were doing a bait and switch scenario. There was another teller who offered to sell it for $0.25. I inquired if this happened ofter and they said yes. I will never go back and for those who do, look at the receipt. BTW Management sucked also. They tried to steal from me and I dont do business with those who do. GOOD LUCK!
Good folks here. I buy a lot of gift cards and have gotten to know the manager (Dan). Hes good at his job.
Envelopes were on sale for $14.99 (normally $38.99), bought 3. Got home, they had charged $78 (should have been $45). Wife went in to try to get it fixed, an employee said she should come back after 3 when the nicer manager is here. I said forget that and went in myself. The manager begrudgingly refunded the amount, and sarcastically said have a nice day as he flung the receipt at me. I checked the receipt, and after the refund, still paid $10 more than we should have. Isnt worth the $10 to try to get them to fix it. We buy a lot of office supplies for our business, and I will not set foot in another Officer Depot/Max store again. There are plenty of other places that would be happy to take my business.

Never written a negative review before but it is time... Wife brought her laptop in for service, running slow, after working on it for several days, yes they did find a virus and installed updated anti-virus software as asked, I got it back.Got it back and was running great until the Hard-drive died, fried. Lost everything. No warning, no nothing. Because this happened within a week of getting the laptop back, I figured they would have some explanation or at LEAST credit the supposed service provided to the dead laptop that was just cleaned, updated and serviced by them. They would do nothing but say they would help me install software onto a newly purchased hard-drive when I bought one... Are you kidding me...Had the laptop for longer than estimated and during that time I have no idea what was done to it or who was handling it. Yet, when I got the laptop back it died. Things happen. Could have been chance but to say they had absolutely nothing to do with it and not even willing to take a percentage of my $200 service charge was unbelievable. Like babysitting someones pet only to give it back and a couple days later it dies. What the heck really happened!?!Never going back. Will take business to local businesses for computer service and all issues. They care about their work and name. Disgraceful.
If you need something printed ask for Chris. Great guy and very experienced. The bimbo that helped me today would not test print on the Avery Labels but wanted to use a plain piece of paper. Ended up costing me quite a lot in money and time. She used the wrong Avery template on her system and I ended up losing. This store does not carry the Avery Labels I use and I have to order them from Evil Bay. New ones wont come in for a while and I have orders to fill.
I have been doing business with Office Max for years. Great products and friendly service as always. Theyve truly earned my business.

I had to explain the same thing to 3 different people. The discount plan is convoluted and confusing. In the end I got a better deal on toner from a competitor even though I had the deepest discount from the loyalty plan.
Office needs no longer help with UPS packaging even though on google it shows up just Fedex customer service is pretty shabby as well not sure why I keep going to this location it’s the same customer service chooses who they want to be pleasant with was offered no help just a general it’s self explanatory as I watched another women receive the nicest help and smile I definitely didn’t experience that just came in to make copies the store’s customer service has went down without Kevin-Manager

They usually have what you need in stock which is great! Sales prices good otherwise a bit on the high side.
I went in to print valentine cards, unaware of the new policy on copyright added, as I have done this before, not for my profit, but for school valentines. The guy working there flipped his lid, raised his voice, and was making my young child cry and I was trying to lipread to figure out what was the problem. He kept saying, We cant do it! We cant print them! I asked him to write what he was saying down on a piece of paper and that seemed to irritate him. I am deaf, and can speak very well, but have problems trying to keep track of what was being said to me via the attitude I recieved from him. And I had my own photos I already had resized for printing, turned out too big on their computer. He said it would cost me $19.99 just to resize. No thanks. Went to a different printing place, and there they explained the copyright thing and gave me a brochure which helped me a lot. And they helped with the resizing, at no cost to me, and I paid under $1 for what I needed. Sucks about the copyright even though I had permission to print, would have been much helpful if the store provided brochures and friendly employees working with customers.

People at store not an issue but the 1 800 GO DEPOT service is absolutely horrible. Do not use it unless you want headaches and to get ripped off by an overseas call center on another continent.
