Vince was great, made it a smooth in and out process with some new glasses that were a perfect fit. He did so well I was able to convince my dad to go in the next day and get his eyes checked for the first time in years. He walked out pleased also. Highly recommend.

I have a complicated prescription and hard to fit size. I was lucky enough to be greeted by Eva. She truly cares about helping the customer and guides them in choosing the right size, style and type of frame to fit you and your prescription. She was very patient and understanding with me. I have always visited a private practice for my exams, this weekend I went with a friend to their appointment. Have to say I was impressed; Arrived on time, was greeted and seen immediately. The exam was very inexpensive and you receive credit for your glasses! Everyone was very nice and while looking for the perfect pair, they offered assistance. Everything was explained regarding the visit. For $59, it included the eye exam, 2 pairs of glasses and a year warranty!!! You can add various coating however they are still inexpensive in comparison to others. If you go in ask for Marisa, she was professional, understanding and helpful. I will be back!

I have been going here since 2017. I always have such a pleasant experience. The staff are amazing. I just updated my lenses on the glasses I came in with after my eye exam showed my sight is worse. They stayed and put the new lenses in immediately, which is super convenient since I don’t live on this side of town anymore. The price I paid for new lenses was far less than I was anticipating.They have super cute frames.10/10 recommend.

These people helped me through a life long needed experience. My eyes have been fine majority of my life and needing to get them checked has always been nerve racking, the staff is supremely friendly and made the whole process enjoyable! I would def recommend! Went in to get the $59 exam and glasses deal but ended up leaving without either. Every single pair of frames offered in the deal were so atrocious I didnt bother. Bright orange, pink and neon green, cmon now, who really wears glasses like that? The sales associate suggested that possibly more masculine frames were available in the mens section. Apparently not wanting to wear ugly, odd color frames makes me masculine. 😂 The tone the associate used when speaking to me was unnecessarily snarky. The deal is nothing more than a sad attempt at a bait and switch to get you in there.

This was my 2nd time with Stanton, in Hazel Dell. and I am so pleased. They are very friendly, helpful, attentive, and make the experience comfortable. Vince made the whole thing doable. I came to yall LAST, after hearing horrible reviews, but it was close and I was on a budget, so I had no choice to go here to try. I had little to no expectations of this company. But the gentleman there with long hair was super. My only problem is I got 2 glasses and the measurement on the bifocal for the progressive is wings on one of them. I have no clue which one. But I feel both glasses, they should be the same on the ridge if my nose, for that sweet spot. But they arent. It takes few days to adjust between.

After receiving extremely subpar service from a large national chain, I decided to try the Stanton Optical location in Hazel Dell because it is close to where I live and very easy to get to. Clearly this was the right choice: I was able to make a same-day appointment, all the employees I worked with were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they even had my brand and prescription of contacts. The big chain I had visited couldn’t even find trials for me, and after claiming to have ordered them, never returned my call.If you want to make an appointment when you need it, be treated well, and not have to pay a ton of money, I highly recommend the Stanton Optical on Hwy 99 in Hazel Dell.

Went in to Stanton to get my eyeglass frame repaired. The woman who helped me, Eva, was great! I’m new to the area and past due for an eye Appt. so I asked some questions about exams and glasses, inquired to see if they took my insurance. She was very knowledgeable and able to tell me what my coverage was, what my deductible, etc. As she went in the back to repair my frames, I remember thinking she must be a manager or has been there a while. She was very personable and knowledgeable. She was able to repair my frame and I wanted to tip her for the great service. She refused to take it and thanked me for stopping by. I stopped in Stanton optical yesterday to get my sunglasses repaired. I was expecting to pay $10 or more, no big deal! The service was fast easy and totally free!

My first time going here was about a year ago and the experience was great! Everything was quickly done, the person who helped me was friendly and I loved the style of my glasses.Fast forward to today and I had to go in since I managed to break both my glasses in the past week. I have a vacation coming up so I figured Id get a contact lense prescription since those process faster and Id get them before the vacation.I explained this to the woman who was helping me and she let me know about how the glasses actually had a warranty on them and I could just replace them same day! It only took about 20 min and she replaced both my frames for under 50 dollars!! 10/10 customer service. I really appreciate when employees honestly try to get the best deal for a customer. If her boss is reading this, give that woman a raise!! Thank you so much!

Probably one of the most refreshing customer experiences I have had as of late. I was initially scheduled for a 5:45 eye appointment, however work held me up and I called to reschedule for a 6:30 appointment. The employees were prompt and courteous to get my appointment handled. Mike, the manager there was extremely helpful and friendly by staying late and helping me pick out 3 frames, explaining the differences in lenses and getting me the best deal for what I was wanting. Very, very satisfied with my experience there.

I broke my glasses yesterday, Saturday, and needed replacements ASAP. I was able to get in today, Sunday, and I walked out with brand new glasses! I love them. The prescription was inaccurate the first time. But Mike, the manager, was so helpful and patient. We went through the eye exam again and my glasses turned out spectacular. I was so excited on their deal buy one get one free. I got my glasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses for driving. It is so wonderful to have such quick and helpful service.

Completely terrible, absolutely awful, the worst.Refused to supply my prescription in person, refused to supply my prescription over the phone, refused to give me a paper receipt, would not supply an accurate receipt through email even after over an hour on the phone. The lack of a receipt, accurate receipt makes any transaction here ineligible for HSA reimbursement. Cash price for two pairs of glasses was quoted at over $950, had to do used car salesman negotiation to get this lower. Nasty and unpleasant.I have filed a complaint with the Federal trade commission and put a stop payment on my credit card.Currently after 2 months the only response I have gotten from Stanton optical is crickets.Any response to this review from Stanton optical will be submitted with the Federal trade commission complaint and the credit card company.You have my number, Bring it.

I was so pleased at the helpful service I received from Mike and Beth. Yes, Stanton offers amazing prices for the basics, but I was looking for progressive lenses with extra features. As it turned out, what I wanted was out of my price range. Mike patiently worked with me to get me the lenses I needed at a price that I could afford. They scheduled me a 230 apt, which is when the optometrist was on lunch. I waited 20 minutes for him to come back for my exam. 2 pairs for $59 is an absolute joke. Be prepared to spend several hundred dollars before walking out the door...

I went in to get new glasses because I saw a sign for a special deal. The eye exam was done via a computer screen by someone in India. I got two pairs for $100. They wanted to charge me $250 but let me barter with them which was weird.The glasses were made incorrectly (wrong pupillary distance). I took them back and they remade them. Again incorrectly. They felt weird when I put them on but was reassured that it would take a little while to get used to them.I went to America’s Best to get glasses that would work. They checked the glasses from Stanton and showed me how wrong they were.I took the glasses back to Stanton to get my money back and was told that the manager was not there and they would call me.This is incredibly dangerous to make glasses wrong for people and to tell them that they are correct! What if I had gotten into a car accident or something horrible?I’ve wasted so much time here and I still haven’t gotten my money back! How is this place still in business?

When I walked in I was greeted by Luke who was very polite and professional. After my eye exam I was given a tray to put the frames in that I chose. The employees were very patient while I took my time choosing the frames I wanted to try on. Once I decided on my frames Luke was very helpful and explained all the fees of everything I needed for my glasses. Luke was also very patient and helpful when my HSA card wasn’t working. He gave me a phone call the next day to see if there was anything he could do to help me with my insurance she that I could get me glasses. We were able to work things out so that I could order both sets of eye glasses. I would definitely recommend Stanton Optical and their employee Luke if your looking to get an eye exam and glasses.

SCAM!!! SCAM!!! SCAM!!!If you’re looking to come here go somewhere else!I am writing this review for my friend who took his frames in and ordered new lenses from this location.Warning to future customers who are looking to come here.This place is a SCAM, stay clear or pray you won’t become a VICTIM of shady business practices.They’re avoiding my friend and have not given him his glasses after being told they will be done within 2 weeks. And this time frame was adjusted to meet COVID-19 delays.It’s been 4 weeks, hitting 5 weeks, and every call he’s made to this location they won’t answer his calls but will answer someone else’s phone number. When we do reach someone here they say they’ll get a manager but will put us on hold indefinitely. We’ve been told that the glasses will be done this week, next day, and soon. Day after day still nothing.Currently, they are no longer answering any of his phone calls.This is a final notice or legal actions will be taken against this business.If you’d like to resolve this problem feel free to contact me immediately and I’ll forward you his info.Receipt of payment in hand.This is the final warning or we will dispute the charge and take legal actions with Better Business Bureau.Just give the frames back and refund him. The service here was great! Brenton and Beth were an amazing help and answered all of our questions. We went in on a Sunday and it seemed that they were understaffed, but the workers still did an excellent job assisting everyone.

Let me start by saying both staff members on duty were incredible. The one name I got which was Vincent, but both staff members were very professional and extremely helpful. Clean facility. Pricing very fair. I received 2 pairs of glasses for what I paid for one pair at Walmart. I would highly recommend this facility. Only one downside ..... music. I was focused on getting glasses but my husband who was just waiting was bothered by the rap music and did want me to move quickly because of it. Would put a more generic type music on. But please focus on how fantastic the employers were.

This happened a while ago, so Im not looking for feedback from the company, just letting people know what happened. We went in because of an advertised deal, which by the way, apparently only applied for a small selection of lenses which were all pretty ugly imo.The person who did the testing for my prescription wasnt even in the same building as me, we were on facetime or something. The glasses I got Im sure arent the right prescription, I still cant see well with them on.They lost my sunglasses in the mail, but never informed me. They gave my mom her glasses tinted when they werent supposed to be. The glasses took much longer to come in than we were told, and when we were promised a call back when our glasses arrived we never got one. I wouldnt recommend going here~

I went into Stanton optical recently and had a wonderful experience from the time I walked into the store to the time that I left. David was the main person who had helped me and he was great. Very friendly, very informative and made my experience simple and sweet. Stephanie also helped me out a little bit by choosing frames when I was very indecisive with what I was looking for. Very nice, young lady. Very patient with me. I have been to many different optical locations and I can honestly say this has been my best experience yet. I didn’t have to wait, I was well taken care of, any questions and concerns I had, they were sure to take care of, the store was very nice and clean, and the whole staff was truly great. I highly enjoyed being greeted right as I walked in with smiles by everyone. The staff seemed very confident and knowledgeable in their positions and that made me feel like I chose the right place. I will be back and I’m certainly recommending Stanton to anyone that needs an eye exam and or glasses.

Stanton is an ok place for glasses if your not looking to spend a ton. Be prepared though. There isnt an actual optometrist in the store. You have an eye exam conducted by video conference with, Im assuming, an optometrist in a call center somewhere. Good selection of glasses and most of the customer service was great. One exception was a guy named Jonathan. He needed to come into the exam room and adjust the mirror so that I could see the screen with the letters on it. When he adjusted it and I still couldnt see the screen in the mirror he got irritated. Which almost made me walk out. Instead I chose to just tell him which direction it needed to go. Once that was fixed it went pretty good. The $59 for 2 pair sale was a big let down as it was only like 6 frames in the entire store and they looked like dollar store rejects. I did find some frames and walked out of the store same day with new glasses.

Thanks to Beth who patiently helped me pick out new frames, she was very helpful and guided me through all the choices. Im super happy I went. Zero complaints.
