Not like a usual big corperate gas station, wayside market feels more down to earth and honest. For a convenience store, This is my favorite one of Vancouver Washington.

Just visited here to use the post office. Employee Jan (at front register when you walk in)...has no mask whatsoever and is helping customers. Don’t even try to say...but, there is a shield in front of me separating me from customers...as you had your head leaning to the side talking to customers. Good grief!!At your age, really??? You should know better!🤯

The clerk behind the market counter in the morning is not wearing a mask (checked on two different days at about 8:30am). The postal clerks all wear masks as well as all customers. There is even a sign! Does the Wayside market not care about customers and want to minimize our exposure? That plexiglas shield is supposed to REDUCE exposure risk, not be the ONLY preventative measure. The clerk is also serving food and handling your items. Go somewhere else!

Extremely poor customer service. Her machine being down was an apparent excuse to be the most negative a person can be. Not even an attempt at good customer service. She says she’s the only one working today, 7/11/2020 @4:30pm. You should probably get rid of employees like this.

My wife and I have shopped here for about 6 years and now use their Postal Service frequently. I dont believe there is a finer, more friendly, excellently managed Market than this one. The stability of staff, low mark up on products and warmth leave a superb shopping and postal experience.I will remain loyal to these folks. Blessings, Larry Smith

Just got 20$ of items inside. Was parked by the pumps since no parking when I stopped. Came out and told me to leave since I had been sitting/parked at pump for 10min. Asked me to leave with a rude tone. I’m done coming here

Great place when you dont want to get lost in a supermarket for a couple of items. Theres a post office inside, if have to wait enjoy a snack or drink. Thats not something you get to do at the main Post office.

It’s a shell gas ⛽️ station. But it seems to be a very busy store 🏬. Kind of local favorite. The reason I am giving it 1 star ⭐️ it doesn’t have a restroom...A gas ⛽️ station in USA 🇺🇸 and no restroom!!!!!👎

Great shopping experience. Employees are always helpful and very courteous. I highly recommend taking the time to stop here.

Their customer restroom is a porta potty. Think about it customer stops uses that and comes in for snacks, touches the coolers, the coffee. The whole place was nasty looking before I asked for a restroom and found out about the mobile toilet. Waited at the counter for several minutes before the employee even seemed to notice me. Had already filled up with gas or would have turned out of there.

I would give them a zero, if possible. The woman working was super rude and told me I could take my 2 year old into a port-a-potty out back. He is potty training and every stop is important. It was disgusting in there and a horrible experience for us both. To send a small child to a filthy place like that with no way to wash his hands, when they have a clean bathroom inside, is just appalling. They should be ashamed of themselves!

We used to come here every morning because of the convienece on the way into work in the morning. However we no longer go here because most of the staff here have no concept that they actually are employed to service the customer. between gas, food, and smokes, we spent close to 2k here a month, not any more. The owner of this place might want to get a little more hands on, and start educating the employees before he runs out of customers starting with the little old lady with glasses, she takes the cake for innnapropriate behavior and unprofessionalism.

Every teen in Vancouver that is anybody knows wayside is the place to go when your looking for something to do. Although now they have douche bag cops there all the time warding off teens because it has been falsely targeted as a drug dealing and drug user hangout. I go there just about once a day for up to an hour sometimes to buy something to drink and talk with whoever is there and not once have I ever seen anyone slangin, or using. Cigarettes is as hardcore as it gets.

Gross food been under the heat lamp for far too long. The cashier, Janet is very rude. At least the store is clean on the inside, but the outside has spiderwebs all over.
