Outstanding service! I called a few days in advance to ensure they could repair the electric motor for my Duffy Boat, Curtis was very helpful and said come on in...well get it done. I showed up Wednesday morning, Derek and Curtis were waiting. Derek immediately took the motor and had it fully functional (replaced brushings & housing (I brought the part), replaced the bearings, cleaned the motor, turn & undercut the armature and had it all done in 2 hours! Fantastic service. Struggled for days trying to research and figure out how to wire a particular type of switch to a motor. Called the motor manufacturer a couple of times and just got the run around. Ended up giving Scottys a call for help. Not only did the rep answering the phone easily understand what I was trying to do, he quickly explained that I was screwed and what I was trying to do unfortunately wasn’t going to work. While it wasn’t the desired outcome for my project, they were happy to educate me and explain the issue over the phone, without trying to sell me a bunch of BS in the process. Small business customer service like that is impossible to find these days and I whole heartedly appreciate the time, money and heartache he saved me.

I am a remodel carpenter and I have brought in a motor for my stone/tile saw and later a hot tub pump. I thought the tile saw motor was making a funny noise, but they determined it was fine. I appreciate the fact they were honest and didnt find some unnecessary work to bill me for. I found the noise problem later, which indeed was not the motor. Knowing the motor was good allowed me to keep troubleshooting the saw, so Scottys saved me money. The spa pump was rebuilt, ran nice and quiet with no leaks and still runs great. The rebuild saved me a lot over the cost of a new pump. I will continue to do business there; they are a fair and honest small business with people who know their trade.

I had bearings replaced on a 3/4 HP Grizzly sander today, just got everything back together and its working great! Good for another decade or two!Nice folks, reasonable fees, and really fast!

Took in my little Giant 3/4hp waterfall pump in to Scottys as it was completely frozen/corroded and had stopped working. I was going to replace but those pumps are about $800. Scotty was able to rebuild with new parts and warranty for 1 yr and it looks and works as good as new and will run another 10 yrs for 1/4 of price to replace. Highly recommend Scottys!
