I had the hardest time getting just a quote from several local glass companies. Not sure how I missed Anderson Glass but SOOOOO glad that we found them. Once I called, they scheduled quote for that week, were out there on time, gave me a quote that day and then did the installation two weeks later. We couldnt be happier. Fair price and great job.

Recently, we replaced our front door, door hardware and decided it was time to replace the glass in our side light windows. As you can see on the Before photo the glass was clear and created a lot of glare from the sun. Additionally, the grids didnt do anything for us. For these reasons, we wanted to have rain glass installed to provide us a with a modern look that created privacy AND we wanted the glass to be tempered, UV coated and Low-E. This is a VERY custom order and we spent a lot of time calling window and glass companies all over the Portland Metro Area.When we called Anderson Glass, we were immediately speaking with a knowledgable professional who KNEW right away what we wanted to achieve. We explained to the representative that we were having difficulty and she assured us that they would be able to get the job done quicker than the 9 weeks we were given by another Glass Company in Vancouver. The next day the owner came out to measure the glass himself. My husband and I were so impressed that the owner took time out of his busy day to come measure the glass on such a small job. The custom glass was installed in less than one week of our initial inquiry/estimate.We have attached the photos of the final product for clarity and review purposes (please pardon our mess as we are continuing to remodel).Anderson Glass Company is reasonably priced and their glass products are high quality. Customer service is very poor. In the beginning the service department would not call back about a shower enclosure problem that I paid $1604 originally. They finally emailed me saying that the did their invoice wrong. NO CALL BACK. Ive left a message for Mark Hutchinson the Manager and they said he wont call me back for days because his real busy.

I had a glass table top made for a new wood coffee table.They got my measurements wrong the first time and I returned it for them to fix.It took them a little over a week to finally get it back to me, which sorta dissapointed me.I got referred by someone for this place so i know its probably not always like this.End result looks very nice though, measurements are perfect.

Damaged my hardwood floor during installation of a sliding patio door and didnt care

I needed to have glass table tops cut. I really did not want to wait for tempered glass. The shop did a fantastic job using some salvaged smoky glass and my tables look great!! So very pleased with Anderson Glass!!

Expensive window failed, I had unlimited warranted so long as I own the house. When I called for replacement they said they had changed to just a 2 year warranted. I have the unlimited in writing but they refused to honor it. Ill never use them again and if asked Ill give them a terrible referral.

!!! The Sunday before Thanksgiving, anticipating hosting a family gathering, I decided I should take time to tighten up my KitcheAid range oven door handle, which had been getting progressively looser over a couple of years. You tube provided excellent help in taking the door off and accessing the inner workings. So far so good!Then, In a total amateur move, I over tightened the handle and shattered the exterior door glass! To my Sunday evening horror, I discovered the manufacturer no longer makes the part, and none could be found on E-Bay, or anywhere on the web, let alone shipped in time for thanksgiving.Before going to sleep i had one thought that perhaps KitchenAid wasnt making it because a good glass shop could fabricate it on demand.Monday morning I called Anderson Glass, my local go to for home glass repairs and fixtures. They have made custom sized mirrors with beveled edges for me in the past, as well as replaced a number of basement windows when my lawnmower kicked rocks into them. I phoned ahead and was assured it was a project they could handle. At the shop, Josh met me and carried the door in and then guided me through the estimate. He advised it would be very challenging to get it done by Thanksgiving. The glass needed to be cut, edged, and four precision holes drilled, before being sent out for tempering, and reassembled.Alas, they called me Wednesday morning with the news it was ready! I brought in the rest of the door and Josh assembled the completed door. Beautiful work with some complicated details negotiated very professional. Five Stars for this local glass shop.

Amazing company! I have used Anderson glass twice recently. Once to replace a plain clear glass topper for a nightstand that had been cracked and then to get ten smoked glass bevel squares for a coffee table to replace ones that had been broken. Both times the jobs were completed in just days! And the staff is always so friendly!! They even accidentally quoted one of the jobs incorrectly (too low) and honored the quoted price when they realized their error, even when I said I didnt expect them to do so. A truly customer-centric company!!! Love them.

I had Anderson Glass replace the glass in my slider because it was getting foggy. I saw the installers wrestle with the window and was surprised at the force they were using. Later I discovered the frame was cracked when I tried to lock my door and couldnt get it closed enough to lock. I called them and they immediately said they didnt do it, and that they werent going to do anything about it. The owner told me to make a claim on my insurance. When I talked to my agent he suggested I tell them I will make a claim against their bond and when I relayed this to them they got very unpleasant. I was passed to 3 different ladies with the third one identifying herself as they owner. I asked her if she knew about my problem (now 2 months old) and she said I have thousands of customers. At one point she laughed and said, I am sorry but this is funny. I have a hunch she was showing off for the other two ladies because I couldnt imagine what would be funny about it. This potential claim did however get them to send someone out to really look at it, although he said they didnt do it too. I will say he was very courteous and treated me with respect. I believe you can tell what kind of business a company is by how they handle problems when they arise. I would never go there again. I now have to replace my whole slider after spending $800 on the glass.

I was in a panic when I broke the glass top panel on the aquarium. I called Anderson Glass Co. to see if they could repair it. Boy was I glad I did, they were great in explaining the glass options, fixed it in a couple days. I highly recommend them for your glass needs.

Our entire experience with this company was a disaster. Ive worked w/ lots of subcontracters and these guys are the worst! They didnt return phone calls, didnt show up when they said they would and were expensive. It took a full 4 months to get a standard size window. During installation of another window, they put a hole in the wall. We finally cancelled a garage window wed ordered and got it much cheaper from Lowes. And we are still waiting, 3 months into it, to get our shower glass completed. Our installer, Tim is very good and very nice - but this company is obviously overextended and not hiring enough help - so he races from job to job and every project is pushed weeks out. We have used other window companies in Vancouver (much better,) as well as the big box stores (also much better.) I wouldnt recommend these guys unless you put a penalty clause in the contract for not meeting deadline.

I stopped by to get a price on a check in window for a doctors office job that I am biding. I was told that the guy I needed to talk to wasnt in and they took my name and number and said he just stepped out and would call me when he got back. After a week of not hearing from him I went back in. Im not sure if I talked to the guy that didnt call me back or if he was a different guy but between him and the girl at the desk they got me a price on the glass they stocked but it wasnt what I wanted. I asked if they could get me a price on the specific window I was looking for and was told that the one I wanted was really expensive. I said that I would still like to get pricing and lead time on it so she took my information (aging) and she took down the exact specs of what I wanted. I asked when I should expect to hear back and was told 24-48 hours. Now that it has been more then a week and I still havent heard from them I am giving up on them and looking elsewhere for my window. Maybe Im not a big enough company for them to want to work with. I hope I havent lost my client from taking too long to get back to them with a price to do there job.

I called them in may for an estimate. Biggest mistake Ive ever made on a home repair. They quoted me a rough estimate by phone and came out to measure giving me a price to do 2 complete windows so i thought but they never gave me paperwork just verbally by phone. Then set a replacement glass date for 2 windows a couple weeks later. They sent a worker out who barely spoke english and then he broke the glass that was to be 1 of the replacement pieces. Didnt tell me anything and only did that one pane leaving another pane untouched and another window untouched as well. They left my window unlockable since the glass was too big. I kept calling and finally they came back replacing 1 pane in the other window saying theyre done so now I have 1 pane in each window not fixed what the heck. The work order says 2 front windows not half on each window. Sean and Daniel did horrible work glue left all over and dirty new panes. When i called Leslie told me to stop talking and let her talk yelling at me when I described my issue. Judy was completely irresponsible as shes the one who took all my information. 2 windows means the whole window not 1 pane in each. Be careful so u dont end up like I did. This was a huge mistake hiring this company. I can tell you my window still doesnt lock and it was in perfect working order before.

Paid for a replacement window using my existing window as a template. Made the window to big, made another replacement and they broke it, made another replacement and it was installed wrong and broke the vinyl window bead. Mary the owner wont fix the problem or return any money. Every time I tell this story to others they also have a similar or worse problem. Stay far away from this business unless you like chaos, being taken advantage of and talked down to.

This company is not reliable or trustworthy. I dealt with Josh on a quote and had them come to measure for replacement of three large windows. The phone quote was so much less than what they will actually try to charge you it was ridiculous. This was a prime example of bait and switch. I called and asked for an explanation and the answers I received were lots of back pedaling and not accepting ANY responsibility. Then I was told by Josh that he had other customers waiting to talk to him and there was nothing he could do. This company is NOT HONEST and flat LIED to me. I will NEVER do business with ANDERSON GLASS!!!!!

I had a broken piece of table glass that I needed replaced. I walked in showed them the glass not only did they have it on hand but cut to fit and smoothed it out. Had me out the door in less then 15 minutes. I couldnt ask for better service.

Two initial estimates for glass for a shower remodel at there store with measurements I gave them. Each time the price went up. Waited a week for the guy to measure out. Went down to put down the deposit for install and glass and the estimate doubled. How could you under estimate a thousand dollars! What a waste of time. Obviously they dont need the work so watch out for final estimate. Couldnt even justify the price jump.
