Second time I have found an item online that the store claims is in stock, drove across town just for them to tell me no...even after trying to find the product the next day still shows in stock....no rain check on sale price just sorry we are out!

Always enjoy going in to look at the plants, or odd end things. But more specifically today the cashier, I believe her name is Sydney, was very helpful and kind when helping me with my transaction! Very sweet girl!

This is Ace hardware used to go by that name. Small store but loaded with stuff. Dont expect them to match home depot but they are great. Thanks to the older gentleman that helped me with the hinges for the kitchen cabinets. He knows his job.

Its a interesting hardware store its one of my child hood places that dad would go to time to time and mom and auntie would have some business also somewere in side . And yes just today I followed my fathers foot steps into the doors to get a saw file. The lady pointed there and there and out the door I went with file in hand .thanks main street.hard wear.

Big place. Well spaced. More inventory than my closest Ace. They were very helpful over the phone and the store is well organized so that I was in and out with everything I needed in minutes.

Ive been in this store several times for some odd piece of hardware. They always have what I need, and the customer assistance is great. They have lots of unusual stuff too. Sometimes its just fun to go in and look!

Wasted my time. Called ahead to ask if they had any respirators, they assured me they had just received a shipment today and were in stock, and when I got there they were out of stock and couldnt tell me why someone would have mislead me. Maybe a good store, but considering this is my only experience with ACE, I wont ever be back. Totally not cool, guys.

This ACE is the best! I initially went in to buy a gas grill that they had in stock online and nobody else in the Portland metro was really carrying. They had the grill in stock, gave me a great deal on it, and helped me load it into my truck. I really appreciate how helpful and friendly everyone was. This is my new go-to hardware store!

Main Street Ace Hardware is my go to store for small home projects and miscellaneous other jobs. Small and local. Im all about supporting the little guy. This little guy almost always has what I need for those smaller projects.

I love this place. You can always find tools, Building Supplies, many random things you wouldnt think to find there. Darrell was extremely helpful! His knowledge of the store was quite frankly, uncanny. I recently took on homemade soap making, and thought I was in over my head, but Darrell quickly laid my doubts to rest. Most of the staff there are friendly and I usually find exactly what Im looking for. They do have one lady employee though that is extremely rude and needs some help with her customer service/people skills in general. 5 stars if it werent for her though.

So I shop at the Mill Plain store quite frequently and Im always pleased with their customer service. However I just moved into the neighborhood and this one is now closer to me. So I dropped by to pick up a few things. Not one employee came up to check on me, and the older gentleman working the cash register seemed a very unfriendly. I even stood there for a minute cuz I didnt think that he was open or ready to ring out my purchase. Didnt greet me or anything.I cant say that I wont be back due to this experience because its now in my neighborhood for quick shopping trips. But I am going to try to avoid it.

Went in today to grab some weed eater string and oil, and was greeted with the rudest sales associate Ive met. Her name is Debra, employee #14, and when I said excuse me as I was making my way past her in an aisle she was stocking on she said go down the other aisle next time. . . I was unaware customers were not allowed to browse in this store. I will make sure I spend my money in a store that treats its customers respectfully next time. Great job Debra for losing a customer.

When I walked in I felt the warmth of family and friendship. The sales associate Matt showed exceptional service skills and product competence. Very pleased to take my business to this location!!

I bought a power drill for $150 here and came back to try to return it because I ended up not using it. The staff and management were very rude and a manager even came up and stood nose to nose with me in a threatening manner and stated they will not return my money even though the drill was never used because it is a tool and even though on their website they state that only gas powered tools that have been used cannot be returned, they still will not give my money back and take back their unused drill.

This is a smaller Ace but the staff is friendly and location is great.

I went there to get keys made, and brought the two EXACT style of keys I had done there the year before. When I gave them to the kid, he said they wouldnt match, I said had got them there before. He went to an older clerk and he was condescending about how they werent even close. So, I drove up to Curlys locksmith and they had 5 keys made in less than 3 minutes, so I bought some more. Since the Ace employees obviously dont know what theyre talking about, Ill be taking ALL my hardware needs to Home Depot instead.

Ive lived in the Arnada neighborhood for over 15 years and have been shopping at this ace for just as long. The service, in my experience has anywhere from good to fantastic. Very knowledgeable, helpful and they price match as well. I always go here first to see if they have what I need before I go to the huge corporate, treat their employees like sheite, crappy service, H.D. store across the bridge.

The fellow helping us did not know standard pipe sizes for shower fixtures.

The staff coukdnt help me find a thing I needed bit I found it all. The staff coukdnt recall the marked promotions on the items I brought to the register that were advertised blatantly throughout the store but I reminded them. I dont think they scanned my sce reewards card as my account and info didnt shiw on the recieot but overall the store has a good selection. Plus good prices. Better than salmon creek ace. Worse than the one off hwy 99. At the end of the day any ace is worth a stop in my opinion.
