Service was top notch! Very happy that during a heat wave they had the courtesy to make an appointment and call back to assure me that they will make their appointment time. The tech that was sent out, Ben, was knowledgeable, courteous and will to explain everything that needed to be done to fix the system. There was knowledge given on how to run the system and told us that we could upgrade to a larger ac unit but due to the size of our house we were set up for success. BEN WAS AWESOME! The office staff that answered the phone was TOP NOTCH as well. I was so happy that I signed up for their yearly service (better than the rest)

Amazingly rapid and efficient service. Even when they had to uninstall the existing furnace and reinstall to get the AC to fit....took longer, but they finished up in time for us to enjoy it that evening
I am surprised by the great reviews. I was referred to this company by Home Depot today. My AC unit quit working. I have a brand new unit I bought last year because I knew my current unit was not going to last very long. When the company representative called my husband to schedule an appointment, he explained that we have a unit, but it is not compatible with the current system (I thought they were all the same, and bought the wrong one, yes, I know that was not the smartest move). I need to have a new coil and some other stuff done to make it compatible. The rep replied that the company was not interested if we were not purchasing a unit from them. What happened to the company doing service calls like it is stated on their site?????? So basically, they do not want my business at all if I am not going to spend a lot of extra money to purchase the unit from their company.
They were friendly and did good work. The one hiccup was they didnt come on the original install date because of supply issues, but they neglected to call me ahead of time to let me know. I had to call to find out why they didnt show up.
When I signed the purchase agreement, I was told it would only take the “crew” a few hours to install the HVAC system. They only sent one person not counting the two electrical guys who breezed in and out at the end of the first day. It ultimately took essentially one guy two days to install it all. I gave a 4 rating because that one guy did a great job.
I scheduled a $119 service inspection multiple days to get a call on the day they were supposed to show up after taking the day off to be home for the confirmed appointment. I would not recommend this company as they cant competently schedule.
This company was way beyond expectations. With every step, we found them highly competent and professional. Our Technician was Robert and his assisant Jose. Both were highly trained, efficiant, very respectful ....and these qualities are hard to find these days. Vancouver was in a heat wave and Vic came right out to access our issues. We felt we could trust him and we do not hand this out easily. From techs all the way to his office staff, you will be in good hands. We have been in Vancouver for over 40 years with little confidence in several of the heating and air companies here, which is why we are more than happy to hand down a referral for such an honest business with the perfect name Comfort Heating and Cooling. The technician Ben showed up on time and was clean. He was very pleasant and explained everything very thoroughly for my elderly mom. He knew what he was doing and did his job quickly, quietly and was very clean. He explained all of the options for a maintenance program which is a yearly inspection for a reasonable fee. I would recommend them.
Ben, our service tech was outstanding!!! He went out of his way to fix our old, broken down A/C so we could have cooling for the heatway. We could not have gotten better service anywhere.Due to our old A/Cs issues, we decided to replace it along with our furance. We received 3 bids and decided to go with Comfort Air. Their price was in line with the other two but due to the service we had received prior and Johnny, Comfort Airsproject estimator we felt he understood are needs and what would give us the best bang for the buck..We are very pleased with Comfort Air!!!
The manager went above and beyond to solve a problem. Electrical installers were several hours late so it made for a very long day but the installation was great!!
Bradford was dispatched quickly when I called with my problem. He was out the same day, which was appreciated since the temperature was dropping and the furnace was not igniting. He quickly diagnosed the problem, took care of that and checked out the furnace controls and other parts.Very happy with the timeliness, professionalism and solutions to my problems. Ill use Comfort Air again for my heating and cooling systems.
A couple of days ago I noticed that my furnace was not working. I called the Home Depot heating and cooling number and they put me in contact with Comfort Air. I was able to set up an appointment for the next day. There service person Ben arrived in the appointment window and practiced appropriate social distancing with mask and shoe covers. After i showed him where the furnace was located he went to work. Turned out to be an easy fix, but he showed me a drainage issue that should be addressed in the future. I was very pleased with the service and pricing so will be calling on Comfort for follow-up.
Robert did such an incredible job today. He didnt have to install today due to the snow, but he did and that has made all the difference for this family. We have heat this weekend because of his kindness and professionalism.

I called yesterday in these days of raging forest fires and hazardous air quality. The office staff was very friendly and helpful and able to squeeze us in today for an install of an air scrubber. Bradford was our technician. He arrived on time, was soft spoken and polite. He went about the job efficiently and was done in about an hour. Can’t wait to see the difference in our in-home air quality which clearly worsened with the wildfires.We started using Comfort Air last spring and have been very happy with them. We noticed our a/c wasn’t blowing cold. We were able to get an appointment the next day. Bradford was awesome! He was very thorough in his work. A couple of parts needed to be replaced. He made sure the price was okay before proceeding.
Let me tell you a story…Up until hiring Comfort Air, we had been working with our home warranty company to try and get our heat pump fixed. It was working intermittently and we could not figure out the problem. They sent out a one person contractor, who had his wife in the van, and he ended up making three separate calls, spending about 10 minutes at each. He never opened the air return or the heat pump, instead he said “maybe it fix self” and topped off the refrigerant. And then on his third call, he actually opened up the air return for the first time and wrote down a part number. This transpired over a three month period of time - no joke - three months!I finally fired our warranty company and the contractor - seeing 100 degree days coming up and having all four kids home as well as a spouse that has been recovering from a longterm illness. I called Comfort Air and I was kind of desperate, honestly. We were not an existing customer but I told Rosa at the front desk what had been happening. She listened. She recognized that our repair was complex and that we were in a bad spot. She got us scheduled for the NEXT DAY during busy season (no joke) and sent Ben, who was the perfect person for the job. He showed up on time that Friday, and spent 1 hour and 45 minutes diagnosing the problem. Turns out that the part number that the previous contractor wrote down wouldn’t have done us any good.Being that it was a Friday, Ben and Rosa teamed up and found the parts we needed - one was in Tacoma and the other was in the mid-west. Before the end of the day, we had quotes and everything lined up to ship to us for a Monday morning arrival…On Monday, Rosa cleared Bens morning and he waited at his office for the part - as soon as it arrived, he came straight to us. He worked tirelessly in 100 degree heat for 7 hours to replace two parts and flush and recharge the refrigerant. It was so hot we had to get creative and put his tank into a bin full of my kids school lunch ice packs and then fill the bin with cold water for it to work.Then, at about 7:30pm, Ben gave me the summary of everything he’d done - and even though he was tired and hot after a long, long day he was incredibly kind and professional and showed that he sincerely cared.I’m glad exemplary is a word because I get to use it in a sentence today - Comfort Air provides exemplary service - they know what they are doing. They will be honest with you and they’ll bend space and time to super-serve you as the customer. Rosa was right when she said “you made a good decision calling us, we treat our customers like family.”I called them on a Thursday, they diagnosed the problem on a Friday and it was fixed by the end of the day Monday. AMAZING. This is the kind of service you just don’t experience very often from anyone. Five stars is not enough.

The technician was called to come recharge a Daiken system that was properly disconnected by a service company when concrete was poured underneath it. We figured it was going to need recharging since it was evacuated when disconnected amount of freon needed unknown. System was put back in place and reconnected by a licensed electrician. Upon arrival the Comfort Air technician spent about 3 mins looking down and said he would not reconnect the two taped condenser lines to the ODU. I asked what is your service call fee for of $119.00. These 2 flare nuts were properly sealed with HVAC tape and 1 away from ODU! He said I need to call the office and he walked down the driveway to have a secret conversation. He came back and as I was tightening them he said he needs $300.00 to connect the lines. By the time he said that the lines were connected, FYI I took the side cover off, 4 phillips screws he would have to to get to the charging ports, and took about 6 mins to cut the tape off and hand twist the two lines back on the ODU, these are brass flare nuts, boy those spin on so easy! I was now ready to addressed the scam, I asked him what is it exactly your $119.00 service call charge covers for the recharge? He said to just come out and look at it? I said just look? You wouldnt touch it? How would you know what is needed by not taking the service cover off (where you would charge it) to evaluate or start the service? Or what if the connections were needing to be tightened? You would charge the system letting it leak out or would you take a wrench and tighten them? They were going to charge aprox ... $215.00 per lb of Freon.... I told him to just leave, I would never pay anyone $300.00 to attach two brass fittings and he must have thought we were dummies. He sat in the drive way for 10 mins as if hes booking time on site, more scam, and I again asked him to leave, he said his boss needs him to charge me a trip charge... I laughed and said nice try - tell him I cant wait to see you in court. TOTAL SCAMMERS! BEWARE. PS Our thoughts on this are more of what if we were elderly and didnt know how simple that was, or if the kids were only ones here... or a baby sitter... they would have just ripped us off. Mind you nobody should work for free but to try and get on your premise, attempt to get away with over charging 300.00 to connect those connections - you deserve to get sent home.
Ben Kushniryuk has been our service technician the past couple of years. Each time he’s been very professional, polite, very informative and honest.I appreciate his detailed information about our system and what he’s going to do be doing during his visit. Today he discovered some insulation inside our unit that had come loose causing some vibration. We would have never know it was there had he not checked and cleaned it out. He really truly seems to know his job and very informative about how our unit works and operates. He’s a keeper Comfort Air!!

Everywhere I called cannot get me in for a couple days, I called in this morning kind of desperate and Benjamin came out to my house prior to his first scheduled call and had me out the door and on my way to work by 11 last minute. It was greatly appreciated. He replaced my motor for me and did a great job

Comfort Air is the literal best. They got me in right away in a heat wave, and then I ended up having a chemical sensitivity to the coil cleaner they used during maintenance, but they went WAY above and beyond to remedy the situation: they did research on how to get rid of it by calling the cleaner manufacturer, they came out multiple times, and they bought a new machine just for my situation that was specifically designed to remove the substance from the coils. They never once expressed doubt or frustration that the chemical was still present and harmful for me, even though they couldnt smell it anymore. I felt heard and exceptionally well cared for. If you have MCS, this is the company for you. They stood by their work in a very, very real way and were responsive, kind, patient, and fair. I will be a Comfort Air customer for life.
I’ve used Comfort Air twice now when I’ve lost heat at the worst possible time. They are great! They rearranged their schedule to get me in quickly so I didn’t suffer without heat for days.Bradford, the technician, was very prompt and immediately fired up my furnace and got it going again. He made my day!!My good friend’s furnace also went out over the weekend too. After I had such a great experience getting scheduled I told her to give Amanda at Comfort Air a call. They did their magic and got her scheduled quick, just like me. Her go to furnace company hadn’t even called her back yet!Their rates are very reasonable and worth every penny. We needed to have my mother-in-laws condo heat pump serviced and inspected prior to selling her home, contacted Comfort Air and was on the schedule. Bradford showed up right on time, put his shoe protectors on and went right to work, his inspection found that everything was in order and functioning properly. I really appreciated that there was no effort to sell me something we did not need. Thank you, I will certainly schedule an inspection and service for my own home.
For those of you who are just concerned about - did they get the job done and in a reasonable time and at a reasonable price? They answer is a FIRM yes to all of those.That being said, you can get that from a lot of companies. What I want to comment on is specifically their service. As a single, queer, woman I am used to being talked down to, having folks try to swindle a little bit, and generally being uncomfortable when I get services. For reference, I work alongside the construction industry but we cant all be experts in everything. So for context, I was pretty much prepared for this to be a terrible experience. If you are a fellow woman looking for someone that is going to treat you well, respect you, and generally make you feel comfortable - this is your company!AND, I was absolutely wrong. My service Tech was Ben and he was nothing short of phenomenal. I have never been so pleased to have my own assumptions and expectations challenged. Ben didnt know I work around construction. I think it is important you know that, because he wasnt just extending some industry to industry respect. Ben came to my home with full respect and a desire to ensure that I was making the decisions that were best for me. He explained exactly what was happening and what I could expect to come. He was patient and thorough. He cleaned up after himself. And I was kept informed at every step of the process. This was genuinely the best experience I have ever had in any kind of repairs like this.Huge kudos to Ben and the full team at Comfort Air, Inc.

I like being warm when its cold, and they do fix that.Its an older model that has served well so far, just needed some help to run again.Comfort Air identified the problem and followed the suggestion from them. It worked good all around.Ben was knowledgeable and on time, which these days is sometimes a hard thing to find-on time. The work was top notch, and other than the heat being on you can hardly tell he was here, cleans up as he works so there was no mess left!If I ever need work done like this or any air/heat work, Im calling them first.And they are reasonably priced. I was planning a heater upgrade and received a 24 month no interest offer from Home Depot. They sent me a list of contractors and Comfort Air was the only contractor that called me, before I could call anyone else. The customer support, sales person and installers were fast, competent and incredibly supportive. From the time that I contacted them until the heater was installed was fast and the new heater is a big improvement over what I had before. Highly recommend Comfort Air for fast, efficient and professional service. I feel comfortable that they will be responsive, should there ever be an issue with my new heater!

We had a heater installed ~2 years ago and recently the thermostat started to reboot for unknown reasons. I called the problem in and the next day they had a technician out to troubleshoot and replace the faulty thermostat that was still under warranty, thankfully. Called Comfort air to have a blower Motor replaced in my Trane furnace. They were very responsive (called them On Friday) and they sent Ben on Monday to replace it and do a complete inspection on my furnace and AC. Ben did a great job and answered all my many questions and I would highly recommend them! :)
I used Comfort Air to replace my hot water heater. The technician came out first to diagnose the issue. He had given us a few options on what we could do to solve our hot water issue in our home. Everyone was friendly and professional. The scheduling process was simple and the pricing was great. Wonderful Company! We will use them again!
Comfort Air was able to come in the next day after I called. The other companies were scheduling 2-3 weeks out. Bradford fixed the problem quickly and told me what I could do to avoid having the same problem in the future.
I had another contractor look at my HVAC unit, and after two visits and several hundred dollars it remained broken. The Comfort Air tech did more to diagnose the problem in the first 15 minutes then the other contractor did in two whole visits. He was very informative and I have a much better understanding of my system now. I signed up for their maintenance plan, and I can highly recommend them, well their tech Ben anyway.

Bradford diagnosed a condensation drainage issue with my HVAC and resolved the issue. He also installed an air scrubber. He provided friendly and efficient customer service and even scratched behind my dogs ears!

I paid these people 130 dollars to come out tell me what I already new. Then they quoted me over a thousand dollars to repair the furness. I got it done elsewhere for about one third that. According to them everything I had was about to conk out and I needed this and that and this and that. They will have no mercy on you!
Before this system installation, our house had little to no airflow, but after the installation, our house it at least 50-60x cooler than before. You could actually smell the difference in air quality. Very exceptional system, would recommend highly.
Recently, Comfort Air installed a new Trane air handler and heat pump for us. Dmitriy, Bradford, Nate, Rob, Lori, Daniel, etc. did a great job. Excellent follow-up on resolving any installation issues.
Ben showed-up on time, wearing proper safety gear, was professional, and clearly described the services performed.
I want to thank Charles and his team for their professional approach. They designed a very nice system for my home, they installed a zone system to make the upstairs more comfortable. I love my NEXIA control and the ability to control my system from my phone. My new system is quiet, comfortable and very efficient. I highly recommend Comfort Air.

HORRIBLE customer service/communications. Not timely in getting back with the customer. There is little to no follow-up, no communication with the customer and does not keep their promises. Their promises fall on deaf ears any more. Even if their work is good, I want a company who wants my business and wants to have a good long-term customer relationship. This is not your company if you want a reliable company who will consistently do what they say they will do. The problem is we are new to the area and didnt know who else to use. I recommend you do your research and find a company that works best for you. This company has to do a lot more to prove to me they are attentive to their customers. If I treated my clients like this, I would have no clients left.
