Great place. Some very nice people work there. Its clean with very good service. The drinks are great and its a great environment. So if u are close and thirsty stop by and have a drink u wont be sorry.

Excellent little eatery and tavern. Great attentive service. Came for breakfast. Had omelet. Could easily tell ingredients were fresh and well prepared. Reasonably priced for higher quality food.

Great brunch spot, we have been here three times already and enjoy the food every time. The mimosas are priced decently at $5.50 and the brunch entrees average $9-$16. It is popular on the weekends so plan on this spot if you are trying to sit down somewhere for an hour rather than a quick meal.

Heard the food here was awesome. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo and it was the worst I have ever eaten. Very bland. someone else in our party ordered another pasta dish and was also disappointed with the flavor. the other 2 people loved what they ordered. One was fish and chips - said it was great texture and flavor for the fish. I doubt I will be back.

The atmosphere is amazing. I love the rustic wood, and seating that is both outdoor and indoor. The lighting is terrific as well. Service was friendly and fast. The drink I got was a little pricey, but well made.My biggest issue was with the seafood platter I ordered. It was a small, overcooked piece of halibut with a few tiny pieces of crab and lobster over the top and three shrimp. Not much of a seafood platter for $30 +. The sauce, rice, and asparagus were all good, but the star attraction was underwhelming.

Food is above average good for dinner, and the staff are nice, so tried out their weekend breakfast menu. Had the fried chicken and waffles, and the chicken and gravy open sandwich. Both were delicious, the fried chicken was excellent. The Chai was sweet, rather than spicy. The Bloody Mary was phenomenal.I have visited many times and it can feel a little disorganized, who is serving you, where to sit, etc. Even before pandemic service could be a little slow. Despite these, overall this place is always a solid good choice in Vancouver for really good food and a good experience.

I love the atmosphere here, especially sitting upstairs! The Halibur Oscar is always made just right and the serving size is perfect! The Brussel Sprouts and Bruschetta are my favorites! Dinner here is never a disappointment! The servers are all very friendly and very attentive. I will continue to visit regularly!

Came in for Breakfast on a Saturday morning. Immediately loved the friendly vibes, their food is outstanding and the owner and her staff are amazing. Definitely would recommend if youre downtown 👍

5 STARS FOR THE SERVICE. The decor is cute and clean. They will check your temperature when you enter. The chicken Alfredo is good ( thank you to the server that recommended it ) However wasnt a fan of the Halibut. It was dry and lacked flavor. The steak bites was okay but a little too chewy for my taste.

Waited over 2 hours for one salad and an appetizer and never got our food so we left.

Food was great, but it took 20 minutes to get a tonic water. Not a mixed drink, just a tonic. I was told the bartender was backed up. Other than that it was good. We were alllowed to have our dog with us on the patio.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. Did I mention it was amazing? Locally owned, great service delicious food & drink and friendly staff. They have one of the best wine selections for this type of place that you will find downtown. Once the owner D.C. gets to know your tastes, you will never have to worry about getting a bottle of wine you dont like. Plus he is a fellow Marine Corp vet, so he gets points for that too. Definitely recommend.

Went with my parents for brunch, and it was fantastic. We decided to come back for dinner and it did not disappoint. The wait was a little longer than expected at dinner, but it was busy and the food was worth it. There is also a nice selection of beers and cocktails. Will be back for sure.

Absolutely stunning eggs Benedict! The béarnaise sauce was outstanding and creamy but not too thick. I will come back for breakfast again!

Love going here. Been going here since they’ve opened. We’ve recently been going here for brunch. Their breakfast is delicious yet doesn’t break the bank. Staff is always great. Owner is extremely nice. Drinks are always well thought of. Don’t forget this place is only 21+. Saw a few people have to leave from not knowing. Overall place is great. Thank you!

Good food. Slow, but reasonably good service. I suspect a reduced staff may lend to the slower service during a busy lunchtime.

Food was great! Fish N Chips and the Lobster Crab Mac were amazing! The Jack Rose is a dangerous drink, easy to drink but strong 😆

More of a bar than a brew pub. It has a pretty big area and a large ish menu of American fare. Service was good. I ate a black and blue hamburger that was on par with places like this. Not a fru fru yuppie place, not a dive. Good solid bar to hang out with friends and eat.

Friendly and attentive staff, great brunch, and good atmosphere. Will be back for sure. I highly recommend the loaded french toast or breakfast quesadilla.

Amazing service and food

Met a friend for a glass of wine and some small plates. The lobster mac and cheese was phenomenal and the hummus plate had a good variety of veggies and toasted pita bread. I only gave 4 stars because the roasted Brussel sprouts were way undercooked. Other than that I would highly recommend this place. The service was quick and friendly.

We love the Barrel Room! The food is good and the staff so welcoming and friendly. When I told our waitress, Anna, that it was my birthday she surprised me with dessert and gathered the staff to sing Happy Birthday! Its like a hometown Cheers!

If you havent been here, stop sleeping on this place and go now!Literally everything on the menu is amazing. Excellent place, good atmosphere, great drinks, and wonderful staff. Ive NEVER had less than a five star experience.if I know someone that hasnt been here, I bring them so they can know about this gem. If they want to pay, I get them it as a gift. I consider myself an unofficial, unpaid ambassador and Im happy to do it. This place is seriously a delight in every way. I cant think of a better place in terms of quality to price point.

The food and drinks were superb. The only reason Im giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that wait was quite long. Dont misunderstand me, it was most definitely worth it, and I will definitely be coming back. The pork chop, halibut, steak, and bison burger are all to die for.

The food is beyond incredible and the cocktails are unique and delicious. They offer a good variety of local beer and a large selection of wine. The customer service is among the very best Ive experienced anywhere. The prices are higher than most places I frequent but not as excessive as some places I looked at that are just completely out of my budget. Overall, despite the cost it is well worth the experience and I will absolutely be back here many more times.Side note: We got really lucky for our first visit here but its a good idea to make a reservation. I almost never got to have this experience.

Ordered the uptown Cobb salad with chicken. It was $15 and it was tasty but the portions were a little small.

The Louie salad was served with warm seafood and their thousand island dressing seemed to turn bad, mixed together. Also, no babies allowed and no a/c. I was disappointed.

Food is always delicious and well presented. Staff are courteous, even when harried and rushed. Wine selection is unique and exceptional.

I got the burger opening night. The atmosphere was great and the service was better. The burger was quality and the fries were perfect. The drink selection is great. All around it seems like a great addition to uptown.

Wow! The elk burger is FANTASTIC! Their calamari was really good as well. Their sidewalk seating is really nice and staff was really friendly. Prices were GREAT! We will absolutely be coming back! No kids allowed so the atmosphere is amazing!

Just got a Postmates takeout order from this place and oh my god. An Ahi “salad” with no dressing and probably 1/2 cup total of vegetables? It’s just some bland undercooked fish and a handful of lettuce now. I also asked for extra pickles on my burger and instead received no pickles. There was just a thin smear of Mayo and no other sauce. Avoid this place, laughable and sad for $40 in food. I ended up having to get a refund and order something else.

This is a stunning restaurant and bar in the uptown village area of downtown Vancouver. The inside looks just like the inside of a barrel! My husband and I stopped in to have a quick drink. I highly recommend the Dirty Snowman. Our server was was very slow but friendly and welcoming. We will definitely come back another time and have a meal too.

Great food! Had the bison and elk burger. Best bison I’ve had! Fries were great. Huge portions for cheap! The drinks were flat but that might be because they’re only doing to go orders with everything going on. Will be coming back again very soon!

Sorry to say myself and a coworker gave the Barrel Room a try and the outcome was not the greatest. I personally ordered an Arnold Palmer and proceed to enjoy the refills only to find out that it was 3.00 bucks for each.Given the way in watch they were offered we both took it mean that the refills were free. Much to our surprise they were not. It would have been nice to have be made aware cost of refills after the first.Sorry to say we will both think twice before returning.

Nice place in Vancouver to get a drink and some food. Pizza and other standard pub fair. Outside seating is nice.
