This target has an amazing variety of things. I especially want to say they have such wonderful employees. Thank you to Georgia in particular for being extremely helpful & going out of her way to help us find what we were looking for. Employee at self check out was also so kind & wonderful. Target is my favorite store. I look forward to going there. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is clean. They have high quality products at very affordable prices. It is actually somewhere I go to just walk around, shop, drink a Starbucks and relax. I never leave without a cart full of new goodies. I would be devastated if Target ever left my area.

Why is this Target so tiny? Have you been to a normal Target lately? I saw hundreds of exciting products not available locally. I will shop north up 41 from now on. Get real Venice. Thousands of people are here.

Great Service! We were searching our local area for a specific smart tv and Target is the only store that had it in stock, ready for pickup. We ordered and paid online and were met at customer service by a friendly staff member who retrieved the set and loaded it into our car--cant get easier than that!

Large department store with grocery section, home wares, electronics, clothes, gardening, patio. Starbucks inside the store. Also theres a CVS pharmacy here. I would recommend getting a Target red card credit card for 5% off everything in store.

The customer service at my store is exceptional! Jessy went above & beyond for me tonight! I greatly appreciated how amazing she was. This Target needs to be managed better. The shelves are always bare and messy. The other Target stores seem to do a better job of getting their seasonal items out. The seasonal items that are sent to the store are very limited, and usually the whole Collection is not sent. When you look at the pictures below you will realize that the shelves are Bare. Its like that all over the store. The clothing selection is awful, with the except of the little girls clothing. Whoever is buying for the girls department is doing a great job. This store only seems to get 2 of each item and they are always picked over If they make it to the shelves It is getting to the point that most of my purchases need to be online simply because our store doesnt have it. The Manager of this store needs to CLEAN IT UP or put someone in there that can!

When my coffee maker at home finally kicked the bucket on Monday morning I needed to quickly find the coffee maker I wanted to purchase. I had already done the research and was ready to purchase the product but it wasn’t available locally. I couldn’t wait 3 days for one to arrive at my door. However, Target in Venice, FL location had one left in stock which I quickly ordered online to pick up at the store. In my hurried manner to purchase the last coffee maker I clicked on pick up at the store, I was preferring to do curbside pick up. Once I noticed my mistake and realized it was already purchased I quickly called the store to see if I needed to cancel my order and start over so I could do curbside pickup. The employee stated that no I don’t need to cancel the order and just call when I arrive in the parking lot and a staff member will meet me curbside. Jessy was the staff member who brought out my new purchase and she did it with the sunniest disposition and most pleasant attitude I have ever experienced at ANY Target. Jessy would be the reason I would return to a Target 20 minutes out of my way! I sure hope her supervisor and all of management knows what a wonderful employee she is and that is recognized for her demeanor. JESSY DELIVERED THE EPITOME OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!! THANK YOU JESSY, I applaud you.

Clean & organized store! Everyone is always friendly and ready to help you find anything you cant find on your own. The way the store is laid out I never feel crowded by other shoppers even though you can see they are busy. Highly recommend Target over other competitors!

I wasn’t aware corporate taught their employees to be mind readers. I called the Venice, FL store at the direction of a different store, who said that Venice had something in stock. When the woman answered, she asked me what the item was. I started to describe it, but she immediately responded “we don’t have it. You’re the sixth person to call about it.”I responded, “wouldn’t you at least like the DPCI or a description of the item?” She sighed, grunted, and said “fine. What is it?”I told her to have a nice day, and hung up. Who knew that Venice Target employees were psychic?

Clean, modern, and organized. The Venice store seems bigger and has things in better stock than the Port Charlotte location. Also surprisingly, the men’s clothes I get there are good quality and reasonably priced. Even Archer Farms (target brand) frozen pizza tastes delicious.

I am a single mother that works full time and goes to school full time. Tonight I was Christmas shopping the only chance I have to shop for my daughters Christmas. While checking out the toy isle I saw an amazing sale on a Frozen LEGO set $49.99 with a sale sticker it was for 15.99. At check out, the sale price didn’t ring up. After showing the staff the discount sticker showing where the LEGO set belongs they denied the sale price and told me any customer could have moved the sticker. I am very disappointed as to not having any help financially and having my hopes up for an awesome toy at a great price I was denied being able to purchase this gift.

It has everything i was looking for. Not crowded. Everything in its place.

I Still had to go into store to get merchandise. Curbside delivery would improve the process. You have cameras in the pickup spaces and this could be seen in store. This would mitigate contact and diminish health risks while improving service to your customers.

Their website says they have beach chairs in stock but when I went there I asked a rude employee who very rudely responded “we don’t have any” and walked away from me as if I wasn’t a paying customer. Wish I looked at her name tag! Won’t be going to this Target again.

Target has great customer service and are very prompt to open more registers when needed. They also have great quality products. They even have an app specifically made for their stores. It includes coupons that help save you money on most of the products that you buy from them. The only problems that I had were with the cashiers. The cashier at the first register I approached walked away and left me standing there. I had a better interaction with the second cashier though. That is, until the end of my transaction. He seemed to get distracted by something to his right and kept looking in that direction. A minute later I saw him talking to another employee, so I figured that that was the reason for his distraction. Other than those two things, Target is my first choice for my shopping needs.

This is my favorite place to shop for needed stuff in Venice. The staff is so awesome, they could run a clinic on customer service! A female manager, Jess, helped me immensely, so kindly, and so did a young male manager, so do all their checkout staff... This store is clean, smells great, well stocked, never too crowded, has compelling incentives often enough to pull me in to get my regular purchases and then I usually find something additional to tick off my need to get list at a great price. I love this store!

Has a great selection of No7 products. Has a decent clothing area. Nice variety of other products. More expensive than Walmart on most items. This store also has a Starbucks and a snack bar with limited items.

My experience was great from start to finish. I quickly found what I needed on line, paid up front, and picked up my product the same day. The Customer Service rep was courteous when I arrive at the store. I would recommend Target for on line purchasing.

Was with Friends at 8:30 a.m told That from 8:00 to 9:00 is dedicated for vulnerable guest.(That is ok).But Ehen i went the next day in, almost all the People in the Store without mask.By self check out is no body desinfecting areas.DISAPPOINTING!!! It’s a great place for gamers. For me ever since the GameStop across the street closed this is the best place to buy your video games. They have awesome service and have a big store with a big parking lot I recommend this place to anyone.

I needed a yarn to finish an afghan I was making. You were the fourth store I was in trying to find the right color. When I came in Marina greeted me and I went around trying to find yarn. After 15 minutes of hunting I again saw Marina, she asked me if I found everything I wanted. Well I hadnt and when I told her what I was looking for she steered me to the yarn you had and I found the yarn I needed to finish my project. All thanks to Marina. I was in Target this afternoon and clerk offered to help me in the makeup section, she was soon joined by another clerk . Both of these young woman were knowledgeable and courteous. I was very empressed! Target Management, you should feel blessed to have these two as employees and the parents of these two young women should be proud!!

It is a Typical chain store Target, clean, a step up from other big box stores. This is a fun place to shop. I dont buy clothing because most of it is for juniors under size twelve and Im a size 18 senior woman. Love their home goods, purses. They also have a Starbucks and a hotdog and soda place. Parking lot well lit at night.

I bought a 4 pack of Epson 220 inkjets. The package was sealed. When I got home to install them, 3 of the 4 packages had already been opened and used. Someone had repackaged this item to sell as new without checking it. Very disappointed with Target. That was completely incompetent move. You ought to be ashamed.

Erin, the store manager, is amazing!! I had visited the Venice store while on vacation. When I returned home, 3 days later, I realized that I didnt have a bag of items I had purchased. They had been left at the counter during checking out. I called the store and Erin was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful in resolving the problem (since I couldnt just simply return to the store to pick up my items). I cant put into words how grateful I was to have her help me!!

When I had problems with my giftcard being hacked. They helped at first then became frustrated with me and were treating me like I was a child. I was speaking to them calmly and patiently but they progressively got more irritated with me even when I had the receipt and they couldn’t find that I had any transactions on my card. Thoroughly disappointed. $75 down the drain.

Electronic sales person recommended that I sign up for theTarget App when I called so I could save additional money on the items I was interested in purchasing when I came into the store. Save an additional $20 on top of the 20% off due to the sale price it was getting for the Heyday phone charger stands that I purchased. I bought 8 of them. The charge right the Otter cases, a Nammi brand via Amazon did not charge through Otter cases.

Great store. Prices are good. Customer service is very helpful. Great Starbucks in there too. Only problem I have is I walk in for one ir two things and always leave spending atleast $100. Place us very clean and organized. Makes it very easy to find everything.

This target had great, friendly people. The one downside is that its not a full Super Target. They have most of what we need. I prefer shopping here then most other stores.

Target is always good. Childrens books selection is great. I like that you carry every Melissa and Doug toy here as well. Cheap DVDs also.

Well it’s 2 weeks till Christmas and most stores are packed...except Target. Middle of the day and the employees outnumber the customers. Sounds good for me, right? I went to electronics and asked for a particular item. Employee pointed in a general direction and said “down that aisle”. (I never did find it)....Then I wanted to buy a top of the line Keurig coffeemaker and the tags on the shelf were confusing so decided to look for help. Plenty of employees, now I just needed to chase them down. Finally! after roaming the aisles, caught one! “Can you tell me the price of this Keurig and is there a gift card rebate with it?”.....”Dunno”.....”Is there anyone who might know?”....”Dunno”. Asked another employee and got the same response so decided to just go to the checkout. Waited in line 10 minutes (only one person in front of me) only to be told “I’m closed” when it was my turn! I gave her the evil eye and she said “I was told I HAVE to go on break NOW”......No exaggeration, I had been standing in her line for 10 minutes!! Went to another line and waited another 10 minutes although again, there was only 1 person in front of me!! It’s times like these that I wish I were one of those people who rant and rave and throw a fit in the stores when they’re treated like this.Question: How does this company stay in business?

A good example of why retail stores are failing. The website says they have something and give an aisle number, the number is wrong and they dont have the item. Found out on Amazon in 10 seconds.

Couldnt print receipts from online purchase to return something that someone else returned for me. Purchased on my credit card for association, and they would only give me merchandise credit. How can that work for an association? Chairs were bent. Color didnt match. Terrible experience with online purchase to pick up in store.
